She was able to have my dress done in about a month. The first time I picked up the dress I did not like the sleeves. But I knew it was my fault because I didn't give her a picture of what I wanted exactly. I brought a bridesmaid dress in for alterations (a lot of them) this past months when I needed a dress basically remade because it was too big. The owner was GREAT! She took my measurements quickly and had my dress back to me exactly when promised. She even made a couple last minute additional alterations the final days before. I got this dress from Lulus and was looking for an affordable alteration given the affordability of the dress for my wedding. I requested bra cups to be sewn, length to be shortened, add v back detail, and buttons on the back. I supplied the button and bra cups. The total costed me 300 which is more than the dress cost. It's not "affordable" by any means. I did like how it looked on me compared to before. Instead of cutting the bottom lace she was able to shorten the dress up around the seams of the thigh which worked out since that area was too constricting on me and it elongated my torso area in an unflattering way. The length wasn't shortened enough though so I tripped over my dress and opted for kitten heels instead. Overall it was an all right job. read more

Paid $80 dollars for a hem to a single layer tulle skirt. When I picked it up, it was completely botched at the hem. It looked as if they tried to angle the skirt with a 6 inch difference. Not only did they tell me it was my fault for the poor hemming but that they were not really equipped to do the work. On top of all that, they wanted to charge another $50 to try to cut more off. The husband called me a liar about the length and said that I never asked for the back to be cut, which his wife contradicted him and said she cut 6 inches of material. I have never experienced this as a customer. The worst part is that this was my skirt for my wedding reception. Which is now a loss and $ down the drain. read more

Do not go here! The prices are really expensive, it was 125$ to just hem the dress and then alter the shoulders a quarter of an inch. Also when I picked up my dress, it became too tight, when I called and asked her about it, she said that I must of just gained a lot of weight in the month that the dress was there, which I think is really rude that she basically just called me fat. Even though it was tight in my shoulder area which even if I gained weight, why would it all of sudden be too tight where my shoulders are? If I could give her more stars I would!! Ebaa was seriously the best seamstress I could've asked for. She altered my wedding dress beyond my expectations! My dress came with a lot of detail and lace-- which she had to take in quite a bit of. She explained to me how she would do this beforehand, which made me feel so much more comfortable because she knew what she was doing. Also, I wanted a back necklace to be added to my dress, which she did without question and executed beyond my expectation! She made clasps and sewed it into the dress so you couldn't even tell it was added-- but like it was made for the dress. And her prices are so reasonable!! She was so sweet and made sure I liked every inch of the dress before leaving. You can tell she really loves what she does! Would recommend her a 1000x ! I called around to a find someone to help me alter my gown for my parents wedding everyone told me it was a two week wait or they were charging too much. All I needed was for my dress to go from a zipper to a corset. When I called Ebaa I explained to her my situation she explained that it was a short amount of time because the wedding was two days away but she said she could do it and she did! I forgot to mention I had already gone to another alteration place where they claimed they had fixed my dress-they charged me and did nothing to the dress. I am so glad I found this alternative shop! Ebaa is amazing! I had a wedding dress that was 8 inches too big and the corset had to be completely remade. Ebaa fixed it in two weeks. It looks like she never even touched it, it's gorgeous work. It pains me to write this review because Ebaa was very sweet and has obviously done great work for other customers. She just really dropped the ball with my wedding dress. For reference, my dress is ballgown style with lots of tulle. I asked for 3 things: cut the length (tea length front and floor length back), attach the straps, and add a corset. She asked me to bring in fabric and ribbon for the corset (after taking my dress to another tailor afterwards, I realize that her asking me to supply the materials was odd). My dress was ready in about 3 weeks. When I picked it up, she had not touched the length of the back/train AT ALL. When I asked why, I couldn't really understand her reasoning. She said she "couldn't." There may have been a small language barrier, but what I got from our conversation was that she just chose not to do so. I had told her in as many ways as I could ("floor length," "no train," "I don't want it to drag at all") because my gut was telling me that we were not on the same page. She kept telling me that there was a loop at the end of the train that I could put around my wrist, and I kept telling her that I didn't want to deal with a train at all. I wish I had gone with my gut. I just paid and left with my dress. I was too exhausted and overwhelmed with the fact that the wedding was 2 weeks away to argue. I take responsibility for the fact that I may not have been clear, but I don't know how much clearer I could have possibly been. I ended up taking the dress to another tailor who cut the length how I wanted (he even showed me where she cut the front jagged), completely redid the poorly done corset (with his own materials), redid the straps because they were uneven, and made other alterations to improve the fit. He did this all in 1.5 weeks for the same price. I don't have before/after photos because I never intended to post a negative review. But after going to another tailor, I wish I had. The difference in quality and price is ridiculous. read more

This is a long belated review - about 4 years too late! She did my wedding dress (which was a BHLDN dress with delicate lace) and it came out beautiful! I went to about 3 other seamstresses in the area and none of them felt comfortable with doing the alterations I wanted due to the lace (hemming the bottom, taking it in etc).
