Well...it turns out it wasn't the unit. It was a plumbing issue and they still helped me pin point the issue - no charge. They texted me a you tube video so I could fix it. It's so hard to find companies you can trust, but Rey's has proven themselves. They are always giving back to the community as well. West Sac or surrounding area - just call Rey's first.

I have been waiting 4 months to write this review to see if I would have another HVAC issue and so…read morefar it's been smooth. I have been really skeptical of all HVAC companies in the past 5 years. I have been burned by so many HVAC techs and wasted so much money. 4 different companies went through with different shadiness levels giving me different answers for the same HVAC issue. Every company kept telling me my freon was low and i most likely had a leak. One company even told me to just replace my brand new system cause "it was from China" The Jaguar tech (Jeff) definitely gave me some disappointed head shakes at previous work but was the only one to truly put his head down, work, and diagnose the root cause of the issue. He checked every part of the system before he gave me an answer on what he believed was wrong. After the diagnosis he detailed every part of the HVAC unit (and attic unit) and explained to me what he was looking for, what he found, and what he believed was the answer. I never felt like he was up-selling me. It wasn't even a freon issue to begin with and the filter drier needed to be replaced. After another visit and a 4 hour procedure my HVAC unit has been running smoothly all Summer 2026. I will seriously only call this company from now on.

Since I wasn't at the property, I had asked for a quick update. The work was done so fast that the invoice popped up on my phone almost immediately! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I didn't receive a call with an estimate or breakdown of what was needed before the work was performed. Overall, though, it was a very quick and seamless process.

Today, I received a bill for a "service call" that was never disclosed, discussed, or authorized when I called for assistance. At no point was I informed there would be a charge just to evaluate the system. I had several other HVAC companies come out and provide replacement estimates at no cost. Because of the unexpected and undisclosed service charge, I will not be using this company for service or replacement work in the future.

We had issues with our air conditioner and called Blake's HVAC for service. Unfortunately, our…read moreexperience was very disappointing. The technician, who appeared to be a new hired, arrived about an hour later than the scheduled service window. He replaced the capacitor (a part that costs roughly $30) and also recommended replacing another component that he said was nearing the end of its lifespan, even though it was not causing any issues at the time. We were billed approximately $220, which we paid. However, after the repair, our AC was still blowing warm air. Instead of feeling like the problem had been diagnosed and resolved, it seemed as though the technician was more focused on selling additional repairs than fixing the actual issue. When we contacted the office to explain that the AC was still not working, we were told they could send another technician--but we would have to pay another $97 service call fee, in addition to the cost of any further repairs. After I explained that the original visit had not resolved the problem, I was told that only the owner could approve waiving the additional service fee. Two days later, we still had not heard back from the owner. That lack of follow-up reflects poorly on the company's customer service and professionalism. Based on our experience, we will not use Blake's HVAC again and cannot recommend them. There are many reputable, honest, and professional HVAC companies serving Davis, West Sacramento, Winters, and Dixon. It's disappointing when a successful business appears to lose sight of the importance of customer service and standing behind its work.

Well, I cannot say enough good things about Advanced Plumbing and the technician they sent (Jamal)…read more I called on the 20th of December, the Saturday before Christmas, in a panic. We had sewage coming up in the upstairs shower and water leaking through my downstairs lighting fixtures. The patient and responsive staff answering the phone (late in the evening, mind you) had Jamal come out, and he fairly immediately identified the problem. It was not insignificant. Let's just say that no wipe is flushable. We just had to convince our 2 year old granddaughter of that! Jamal had to do quite a bit of work to fix a broken pipe (sawing through my first floor ceiling to get there). But he nailed it---And I think they charged a fair price for the repair! After a few months, my tub was slow to drain. We called Jamal out again, fearing that we didn't get all the wipes out of the pipes. No, it's just the fancy tub stopper that has been become defective. No charge. Yeah, safe to say, Advanced Plumbing is forever my go-to. Ask for Jamal. You can't go wrong,

A friend of mine who lives in the same complex recommended A COOL AIR INC. upon which I had reached out. I was hoping to just get it serviced, but because of the age and the freon it used, I was informed that they no longer carry that freon due to it was no longer produced and that I might find a company that has it. Found one that was able to give me 2 more years and very much appreciated the honesty the A COOL AIR gave. November 2025 it was time to change it out. Made the appointment, received the estimate after inspection, was informed of the rebates both for SMUD as well as Federal Tax Credits and gave the go ahead. They had it installed in 2 days' time, and let me tell you, this new system? Makes me come to terms that I never really had a real one to begin with!!! I was given options to which one would work best for my unit (I live in a condo) and wasn't swayed one way or the other. Chose one, and I am SO THANKFUL I did! These few days in the 90's so far have given comfortable and cool air throughout my home and including my bedroom which never cooled off or heated up to the rest of the house. I held off on giving a review because I wanted to make sure the cooling worked and it does!!!! Compared to a "big box" store that quoted me the price of a new car, I'm beyond happy with A COOL AIR INC. and can easily recommend them for your heating and air needs! THANK YOU A COOL AIR INC.!

The blower motor had failed, and I also wanted the heat exchanger cleaned while the system was being serviced. There was no pressure and no attempt to upsell me on anything I did not need. The total repair cost, was, fair for the work performed and within the budget I had discussed. Most importantly, Kolby got everything taken care of quickly and had my air conditioning back up and running in no time. We called our regular HVAC servicing company which we'd had for the past 2 yrs. Unfortunately they totally fell short on several things. We ended up calling Cozy Home & Mark showed up on time the next day. He immediately put on booties so he wouldn't get our dark floors all dirty. He had already done his homework on the age and sq. footage of our house, which impressed us. Mark was very knowledgeable about our system as well as the Mitsubishi system we decided to go with. He was able to give us a quote that same day on both a single zone and dual-zone (we wanted the option to cool the living room too). Mark told us that it would only require one day to install the 2 systems, which was a lot quicker then the other company quoted, & the price he quoted us was even $1000 lower. They still had a slot open the next day so we told Mark to set it up. Roberto, Salvador, & Gaio showed up right on time at 8:30am, just as Mark said they would. The guys did a terrific job on the install aside from the dirt/dust. We were going to have them wear booties until we realized it would be way too difficult for them to keep having to take them off when they went outside throughout the day. They brought in a tarp to put down under each unit to catch some of the dust & dirt. We made sure to keep them well hydrated and well fed since they were here from 8:30-5:30pm, and it was 100 degrees that day. All in all the systems work wonderfully, and we wished we'd done this 2 years ago. We were so happy with the company, we decided to hire them to be our HVAC service company from now on.

And then they really impressed us with how quickly everything came together. They were back the very next day and the day after as it was a two day job, with a full team of installers and replaced the entire system, including new ducting, insulation, and everything that went along with it. The crew worked hard, was professional, and got the whole job done efficiently. Replacing an HVAC system is definitely not how anyone wants to spend their money, but having a team that makes the process this easy makes a HUGE difference. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Kody and the installation team. Highly recommend!
