When visiting them on a Friday I need to stop in here to fill up my tank using my points from #t-mobile on the #fuelrewards app since Friday is the expiration date. The station sits on a deep lot just across the railroad tracks from #jubiescreamery a favorite stop for mine. It has a long row of new gas pumps on the clean well maintained lot. These are the pumps with the screens showing video ads and entertainment news. I am not usually there that long to see much of this. I have not had any problems when entering my #fuelrewards account and paying with my credit card. The convenient store is at the back of the lot. It is always well lite with an almost constant flow of customer traffic. I see people coming out with necessities like milk. I have not gone into the store before since it is not usually snack time or I've just eaten or I'm on my way to #jubiescreamery!! Speedway has a lot of pseudo-deli items now, along with all the roller food you could ever want. I decided to try a pepper jack tornado and since they were 2 for $2.22, I got two of them. As a snack, they're not bad. 85 grams and 220 calories, heavy on the bad stuff, of course. What, no salad on a stick? The line at the register was long and someone ahead of me was buying a bunch of stuff. She wanted to pay for the stuff with the Speedway cash cards she was buying, which led to a lot of confusion but she didn't explain anything ahead of time. Sure, I'd like to pay for cards with the cards! I'd be a millionaire, if I just had the million! Anyway, the cashier handled it really well and we all survived. She even took care of my transaction smoothly, including the coupon for a free drink and my 1000 point coupon from the transaction, which she added back to my card. Slick!

In addition to the typical stuff you'd find in a minimart, they've got your fried food craving covered. Chicken, shrimp, and who knows what... a bunch of stuff, but that's not my jam. There is a better than average beer and wine selection (more my jam). While it's not a huge selection, they really do have some nice craft beers including a few special selections. But what is really interesting is there growler fill station with a good selection of rotating handles. But wait, there's more........ they have a Pegas Pressure filler! Get out of town!
