Her love of Annapolis was obvious. Food was varied, excellent, and plentiful; neither one of us was hungry for dinner that night! Will certainly return to a couple of the restaurants we visited and tour some of the buildings she talked about. A great way to get a sense of Annapolis and a lot of good food.

Our tour guide was an energetic, knowledgable young woman named Sam. Historic stops included: St. Anne's Parish, Maryland State House, Shiplap House, Maryland State Capitol Building, and some other random street corners where the tour guide pointed out some notable buildings/historic sites. We stood outside while Sam discussed some interesting history and culture of the town and each attraction. The tour guide discussed and recommended other establishments around the area (she pointed them out along the route) that were not on the tour, including places to eat, drink, and buy souvenirs. I really appreciated that aspect of the tour. See the pictures for the food stops and menu. The food was really great, with the exception of the tacos. The cream of crab soup at the Federal House was FANTASTIC. This was a pretty incredible way to experience and learn about Annapolis, and just a great afternoon outing. I highly recommend it.

I figured the best way to help him was to get first hand experience of the tour, so I booked a Friday afternoon tour for my team. Can I just say what an awesome time we had? We are all fairly local folks but we learned so much and ate amazing food. I appreciate the level of service Zachary provided including helping to fit this in my budget. All communication was prompt and easy to understand. The payment process was simple. Instructions for where to meet and questions about food allergies or other issues were appreciated. Even in the rain, this was just so much fun. We started at the Maryland Center for History and Culture. As a museum junkie, I loved that we started with a quick tour through Baltimore history! And we got to pop into the Jim Henson exhibit. They have the Labyrinth Dress!! After that we started walking. Did you know the Ouija board was created in Baltimore?? I did not. We walked into the Enoch Pratt Library and poked our head into the Peabody. And we did a quick tour of the Washington Monument. I did not know you could go inside it for free. The food part was even better! Started at Tio Pepe's which was delicious and such a cool building. After more walking we stopped that Helmund for more food. Our final stop was at Topside for a cocktail and dessert. Zero complaints. I've been telling folks about this experience because it was so much fun. I look forward to doing the other tours.

I booked and made reservation at Harbour Inn- I love that I stayed at before. Approached by a spry lady, I was asked my name - she turned out to be the granddaughter of this 1926 New England Charter, Capt Iris. Very personable and knowledgable as she pointed out things along St Michaels banks e.g., The Perry Inn and the focal point filming of The wedding crashers. The name Selina, itself had family virtue and significance-pronounced different ways, the one I remember is as in Selena Gomez. We were also quizzed on how many tons the vessel weighed. My guess way low-16 tons!!. We marveled at the woodwork and upkeep of the ship and hours to maintain- not to mention gas cost. We were offered our choice of beverage- I had a tasty Chardonnay, although I'm not sure the brand. The first mate. Was agile at that point coasting in a nice spot to put up the sail, beautiful as the sky was starting to cast its evening glow with the sunset. It was truly relaxing as we made small talk about catfish and enjoyed the ambiance. I then had a second Pinot Noir however the water being a little choppy declined a third- we were Rockin ! a little with wind picking up. It was a very enjoyable outing and I would do it again in a heartbeat! Next time I want to be at the helm lol, if only for a photo shot.
