Wine not!!
Elisa G.

I came to the Gelateria and Barbara gave me samples of all the authentic Italian ice creams and gelato's everything is so amazing! My favorite is the pistachio which is white and very flavorful. I also like the blood orange. They have sorbet as well. A+ experience. The actual store itself is so cool and has so many different levels of delightful authentic Italian food and treats along with Italian wine and champagne

WOW! Talk about a fun weekend!! 1st time here, I haven't been to Westfield Century City Shopping Center in like 20 years! Anyways this Eataly totally rocks! I don't know what I was thinking (forgot I've been to one when I was in Japan, that one was smaller), anyways for some reason I thought this was a restaurant but it's not...it's like an upscale Italian marketplace with restaurants, fresh pasta, pastries, coffee, groceries, and imported foods all under one roof. In my mind it's part Italian food hall, part grocery store, part dining experience. I just LOVED it!! I seriously felt like I was in vacation!! LOL! Prices varies, my favorite is when it's on sale. There were lots of customers here. People here were very nice! Loved it inside!! So many things to look at!! This place was just so clean and organized!

I've never been a fan of Batali, but i do like this shop. Wishing it was closer to home. Large selection of italian pantry staples and sweets. Love their breads, focaccia, cheese department, cured meats, everything really. A bit overpriced, but for convenience and quality you cannot find a match. During Christmas time, it's a great place to grab panettone and pan d'oro. service is efficient. It's a fancy supermarket, well lit and organized.

Beautiful roof top restaurant. Great wine selection. Wonderful service. Had an overall great experience. Several gluten free options. I was craving pasta. Had a gluten free pasta dish with asparagus and egg caviar. Was small portion but delicious. My friend had the artichokes and the octopus. Was very happy with them both. Octopus had potatoes and a delicious sauce. Heaters outside for when it get cool in the evening. Would definitely come back. Great shop down a few levels where they sell homemade pasta and cheeses. Lots of Italian imported goods as well. Fresh breads sauces. Got a gluten sensitive tiramisu down at the gelato shop that was good but not great. The rice cookie part was kind of soggy but the custard part was great.

Sat at the bar for a cute dinner with the girlies!! It took us a second to be served in the line-- we were at the front of the walk ins line and weren't served until the entire reservations line was depleted (even people who got there after us). Other than that, the food was good, the passionfruit spritz was yummy, and our bartender/server was very nice.

Awesome kitchen and views from the cooking class. Scraps of our pasta class. So much fun.

Came here for a cooking class to make pasta from scratch with my party of 7. Fabio was an amazing and fun instructor that showed us the way and kept it entertaining. He explained the difference of Northern and Southern traditions and overall, we had a great experience. Each person had their own station so we didn't have to share and we all got to get the feel of ready dough/texture. We got to take our pasta home and ate some at the end. Highly recommend the hands on cooking class. From the beginning to the end, Fabio and his assistant were very generous on the drink pours and had a great spread of appetizers to keep us happy for the 2 hrs we were there. Such a fun time and very private venue for your date night or party with friends. After the cooking class, we made reservations for Terra. We enjoyed the rooftop restaurant and ordered more food and drinks. We went shopping at the marketplace and enjoyed all the things Eataly had to offer. What a fun time to spend the entire day. They don't validate parking tickets and we paid $27 for parking.

We put our name in at a restaurant with a long wait time and ended up walking around the mall and stopping by Eataly! We have been here many times but it's got so many cute and charming items, lots of tasty treats and we ended up with a lil prosciutto appetizer while we wated and he toasted it to perfection! A perfect appetizer to energize us while we waited for our main reservation haha.

Always a fun time perusing the beautiful foodie offerings & the tasty takeaway options are fantastic if you're not up for cooking. My kids enjoy ending our visit with a treat - gelato or from their bakery. We love their cooking classes too, but that's a separate review!

Ciccio
Diane K.

Today, I stopped by Eataly at Century City Mall for dessert and coffee. I chose the mini cake called Ciccio, and it was so creamy and absolutely delicious. I also noticed that they have Lavazza coffee, so I immediately ordered an Americano. I've always loved Lavazza coffee, and this one was so good --very aromatic, rich, and full of flavor. The staff were friendly as well, which made the experience even better.

Great bar to stop at while grocery shopping

****PARKING TIP**** I hope someone finds this helpful because the parking here wants to bankrupt you. First hour? Free. After that, it's $3 per half hour, with a cap around $45 if you linger too long. Valet kicks off at $20, same deal on increments. But if you grab $10 of goodies at Gelson's, you've got 3 hours on the house, just remember to get it validated.

4* Food 4* Service 3.5* Ambiance A dependable Eataly experience which is still joyful to experience many years after my first experience at the original in Bologna. We dinned at Capri where we could enjoy both pasta, pizza, and fish. The wine choices are always fantastic and you can never go wrong. The foccacia bread was warm, crispy on the outside, soft on the center with flavorful olives and tomatoes. It was perhaps the best item we ordered. We asked for olive oil on the side which definitely further elevated the taste. The lemon pasta was creamy, perfectly al dente with a balanced and perfect amount of lemon. Simple ingredients, bold taste. The branzino we ordered was tender and good; however, it lacked flavor from the olives and tomatoes which accompanied it.

Lissa L.

We went there specifically for dessert. Amidst all the sweet treats, the pistachio tiramisu stood out and screamed at my husband, so that's what he got. It is perfect for gifting and a tad expensive. That being said, we savored every bit of it. It is delicious, not too sweet in some parts (very sweet in others), and I was surprised I could still distinguish the ingredients used. I tasted the lady fingers, the pistachio, the cheese (mascarpone? Ricotta?) - and I was in heaven. Eataly ALWAYS delivers, whether it's savory meals or desserts. Although Century City is a long drive for us, this place makes all that traffic worth it.

Funghi pizza gluten free

Eataly has to be the most fun market out there. I love Italian food so we shop for products that are made in Italy at this market. They have an amazing selections of organic and gluten free pasta. Also fresh pasta by pounds, butcher's station and fresh produce. I really like the selections of sauces and dry herbs. Lots desserts and gelato to try as well. This place has a lot to offer like Lavazza coffee, food stalls, a big wine shop in the back next to two sit down restaurants. They have wine tastings throughout the store. We like to eat at La pizza or Capri, both serve great authentic Italian food! The staff were friendly every time we visited. This is definitely my favorite place for italian grocery shopping and meals!

Ask the Community - Eataly - Los Angeles

May I order an Eataly LA gift card and have it sent to me in Florida? How would you suggest doing this? Thank you. Teresa

I think the best way to order a gift card from Eataly LA is to do it online. You'll receive an immediate email confirmation of purchase and redemption instructions. Virtual gift cards are available for $25, $50, $75, or $100.

Are dogs allowed in their outdoor seating area?

No, unfortunately. It's a market place below.

Do they stock FRESH (non-packaged) gluten free pasta?

Yes, the have a wide variety of different pastas. Enjoy!

Can you bring your own wine and pay a corkage fee?

Where park for gelsons century city?

Gelsons is on the other side of the mall from Eataly and the parking entrance for Gelsons is on Century Park West

Does Eataly (specifically La Pizza & La Pasta) validate parking? If not, what's the parking situation there?

No parking validation from Eataly. The best spot in the pay garage is the upper level, with direct access to Eataly next to Equinox.

Can I make reservations?

Yea for the restaurant. Calling in works best for me.

Is the restaurant open for take out?

Yes

If you make a reservation are you seated in the market? Is terra a better place for date night?

Every restaurant in Eataly has a dedicated dining space. They are all in the same open food court that the market is in, except Terra which is on the roof. The roof is more romantic than the Eataly food court, but the food options are limited.

Is there Access for Disabled people? Elevators? And or is there Motorized Scooters for the Disabled?

Yes, Elevators. No scooters.

What are the vegan options?

I don't know what the options are there for vegan we were very disappointed in Italy in Los Angeles compared to the one in New York we ended up not being there very long and moved on to something else. I was actually a waste of our time.

Which drive in entrance is easiest?

Go in the front on Santa Monica Blvd. next to the valet. Then follow the signs to Eataly and Macy's. Park on the highest level in the garage.

Is the patio dog friendly?

No dogs aren't allowed

How many mini-restaurants are within Eataly?

Around 4 i believe.

How do you order cakes? Is there a dedicated number or website with cake menu?

When you enter the store , on the left side you will see cake counter , a lot of choices. I love it !

Do they carry black truffles?

Yes! I have also seen them at the 99 Ranch Market. $20 each

Where's the la terra restaurant located :)?

Ciao! Terra, our wood-burning Italian grill restaurant is located on our rooftop. You can access it through our store by walking up the spiral staircase by our wine shop, or directly with the elevator on Avenue of the Stars.

Do they have Gluten-Free Pasta option?

Yes. It's not on the menu but they do offer a gluten-free pasta option.

I just got a this as a recommendation near me how are the cannolis?

Pretty good. Worth a try at the very least.

Do they serve breakfast?

There is a coffee counter but no sit down breakfast- the main area opens at 11am for shopping & lunch

LOVE LOVE LOVE Maccheroni Republic!!!…read more I've been going to this place since 5 years ago and it's still one of my absolute favorite places in LA. So worth going to downtown for. The service is impeccable and very friendly to you. They're really knowledgeable about their dishes too. The place just reeks of experience and professionalism. And I can't even start with the dishes. From the vongole down to the tiramisu, everything is delectable and perfect. The only downside is they raised their prices over the years I loved it when I used to get pasta for less than 20 bucks a few years ago. And the wait tends to be terrible so I would try to go earlier (opening) next time or just hop to a bar nearby while on the waitlist. Overall, I will forever love this place (unless they change the chef for worse) and so worth going every time.

My sister and I came in without reservations around 8pm and they sat us inside on the counter after 10 minutes of waiting. They were pretty full for table dining. We ordered: Steak Tartare (4/5) - Bread was perfectly oiled & crispy on the outside and chewy in the inside. The tonnato was very umami and made the dish but the steak itself was alright. Spicy Pomodoro (3.5/5) - This didn't hit as hard for me; I wished it was more spicy and I didn't taste any truffle. Pasta itself was perfectly al dente. Sweet Corn Agnolotti (5/5) - This was delish! Make sure to get equal parts of the pasta, sauce, corn, and crème fraiche (like a light sour cream) to get that flavor explosion. Creme was a little sour, corn was sweet, and the agnolotti was salty; perfect bite fr. My only negative is that this dish was too small for $28 :(. Blood Orange Pavlova (4/5) - A truly layered dessert because if you ate the sorbet by itself, it would be too sour but otherwise, another flavor explosion. The pavlova was thick and you really have to jam your spoon in to break the pieces apart. Service was friendly and fast! Overall, I'd come back!

Still stands-up to the hype after all these years…read more If "Trendy" was a restaurant, Bestia would easily be in top contention, even after being around for more than a decade. That says a lot. Once upon a time (a few years ago), my CFP + banking institution wanted to thank me for being one of their top private clients. They expressed their gratitude with a very generous, all expense paid full-course meal at Bestia. To say that I was impressed would be an understatement. Fast forward to now, I knew that coming back here would be a good idea. Make no mistake, even if you try to book a reservation several weeks in-advance, don't be surprised if the only available seats are at the counter. Granted, I was in a spacey table during my past visit, the counter can be an enjoyable & unintentionally entertaining space. It's great for a more casual vibe, as you get to see some of the kitchen workers put together some of their signature dishes. In many ways, Bestia seems like a microcosm of the city that it rather humbly resides within. What always catches me off-guard, is that the surrounding simple area really doesn't reflect the happening, vibrant, night-life that resides within the building's walls. You feel like you're taken so a different, very social, very bustling world. WINE: Podere 72, Poderi San Lazzaro (Marche region, central Italy) - 8.7 / 10 A very robust blend of Montepulciano & Sangiovese grapes that results in a balanced, medium bodied red wine that stands-up to heartiness of a beef ribeye steak. FOOD: Roasted Bone Marrow - 9.4/ 10 I have several friends that go here just for this particular dish. Funny enough, one can almost always tell that one is at Bestia because of the rather peculiar manner in which this dish is served. Hot, melted bone marrow is appropriately scooped out of the bone & poured onto spinach gnocchetti. It's like eating beef flavored mouth pillows of potato + spinach. It's definitely a dish that will impress whoever you are with. I can never resist ordering this whenever I am here. Oxtail alla Vaccinara - 8.9 / 10 The deep, rich maroon color of the rigatoni (thanks to beets) is a sight to behold. The pasta is firm but not too hard. It's a humble yet complex pasta dish that complements any main course. 26oz Margaret River Wagyu Ribeye - 9.4 / 10 Anybody who knows me knows that I love my ribeye. Any decent fancy restaurant does a ribeye. But no one does a ribeye quite like Bestia. The fermented mushroom cream delivers a punch of pungence not unlike a delectable dijon mustard, but to the highest of levels. This dish also makes me a believer in well-cooked onions served alongside steak. I usually like to take a home a portion of ribeye for later, but this is one of the very few instances when the steak is so good, that I can't help but finish it here. Again, the portion is more than enough to be shared. Fromage Blanc Mousse - 9.1 / 10 This seasonal dish hits all the right notes. It's the fanciest of cheesecakes, so I recommend sharing this. With its decadence, a little truly goes a long way & that's perfectly fine. The richness of the cheese is offset perfectly by the right balance of candied kumquats. A great "bite" to end on. Huge shout-out & thanks to Radu for being the nicest & most enthusiastic of servers. It's little things like him being so down to take pics of you with your party that really make me want to come back here. It the owners / management is reading this, please recognize how pivotal he is to your team. If he was working under me, I would most definitely give him a raise. Also, shout-out to Dani at the hostess stand. She is one of the most personable people. For being the first person that patrons see upon entering, she is the perfect face, attitude, & welcoming personality that the hospitality industry is in dire need of. She's a rockstar of a hostess & a pleasure to talk with. Bestia is a better place because of valuable employees like Radu & Dani. As always, come for the food. Come back for the service. I would definitely come back because of how amazing Radu & Dani are. Years after the hype, the vibe is still very much happening at Bestia.

The experience did not disappoint -- it was beautiful from beginning to end. Our extraordinary server was James. He was engaging, attentive and unpretentious. His knowledge of the menu was impressive as he explained each section and item in a simplified way. After making our choices, he suggested changing one of our pasta selections since they all had heavy sauces. We accepted his recommendation of the Spaghetti Arrabbiata, which turned out to be everyone's favorite! The tomato-based sauce was light and perfectly spicy. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING was amazing. The focaccia, oxtail meatballs and burrata with ham were a great start, showcasing the quality of the ingredients and thoughtful preparations -- they set the tone for our entire meal. The taste and texture of the freshly made pastas were unmistakable and so, so good with the wonderful sauces. The lamb chops were well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. I especially enjoyed the bed of sliced snow peas, green beans and English peas set over mint sauce. After all that, we had just enough room for shared desserts -- Budino and Tiramisu. Both were the perfect finish to a delicious meal. If you like chocolate, the Budino is for you -- rich but not overly sweet. Each yummy bite with the crumble topping was nicely balanced by the sprinkled salt. Service was impeccable and well-coordinated. We especially appreciated that dishes and utensils were changed after each course. A couple things to keep in mind: *Reservations - Via Resy. The reservation window is open 14 days at a time. *Parking - Valet is right in front. We found street parking just around the corner on Sunset (metered but free after 7pm). *Price Point - Approximately $100 per person. Mother Wolf is a cashless establishment.
