One of the many food kiosks in Food on Four is Eat Pinoy. This is Cabalen's first try as a food court supplier and they are pretty successful with the execution. Like their original restaurant concept, Eat Pinoy serves quality Filipino dishes. Their price range is pretty affordable compared to other kiosks in the area - a hefty serving of viand with rice goes for about P160. They have the obvious choices from the local cuisine - adobong pusit, beef kaldereta, callos, chicken BBQ, dinuguan, ginataang langka, ginataang sitaw, pork spareribs. They also have some dishes that are not on their usual menu, like the sinigang na ulo ng salmon that was there when we ate at Food on Four.
Whatever dish you choose, you will definitely find yourself enjoying a flavorful meal with rich flavors. I've always been a fan of Cabalen's Kaldereta and the version here does not disappoint. It has the spicy tomato-based sauce, tender meat, bite-sized carrots and potatoes. Since the serving is pretty big, you might not have room for dessert. But if you do find yourself hankering for something sweet, they have a lot of Pinoy delicacies to choose from.
If you're confused with all of the food choices available in this venue, Eat Pinoy is one to consider if you want familiar-tasting comfort food. read more
