I recently installed an Easy Closet system in my 10' x 10' master closet. I found the design tool to be quite good, although the 3D visualization tool didn't work with my Chrome browser, and when I ran it through IE, it just shows wireframe renderings of the design. The "professional design review" was really helpful. I worked with Tracy, and she provided me with some helpful suggestions. I also liked the fact that I worked with the same designer/sales rep throughout the process. I initiated my design nearly a year ago, and ended up working with Tracy 10 months later to complete the order. At first I was sceptical about the quality. I've built custom closets like this from scratch in the past, and I have high standards for things like drawer slides, drawer boxes, etc. I selected the upgraded soft-close, full-extension drawer slides, and they are excellent! My order included pull-out pant racks, slanted shoe shelves, tie & belt racks, and a valet pole. All were excellent quality, and even exceeded my expectations. Even the hanging rods appear to be high quality metal (mine were chrome). The drawer boxes are pretty basic - simple particle board with foil covering. Three out of 4 of the corners are mitered and glued, and the fourth is doweled and glued. The bottom of the drawer is glued all around into a groove on the sides. Not quite dovetailed hardwood, but I decided that with the lifetime warranty, I'll take the chance that they'll be strong enough. Installation was about what I expected. My order arrived in 38 boxes (which were well designed for shipping melamine shelves). Establishing the installation height of the rail was a little tricky for me, since my unit contained multiple hutch units which extend to the floor, and my floor is not level. I found the highest point, used that as my reference, and put shims under the vertical sections of the hutches. This wasn't covered in the installation guide, but should be straightforward for anyone with DIY experience. The drawer fronts had pre-drilled holes for mounting to the drawer boxes, as well as indentations for standard drawer hardware (handles or pulls). However, each of the drawer slides had to be located and mounted to the drawers, which is just time consuming. Finally, the customer service at EasyClosets is awesome. Two items from my order were damaged on arrival. I called customer service, and they had replacements shipped out immediately - no questions asked. Bottom line - we LOVE our new closet. read more

This was the most frustrating product I have ever encountered. I was surprised to learn how much work was required. I'm not talking about putting things together--that I expected--rather, it was all the details that could have been done at the factory to make our experience go smoothly that somehow weren't. Despite providing our measurements, we might as well have bought the system off the shelf from a retailer since we had to cut many of the critical pieces to measure anyway. That part wasn't actually all that difficult, but it set the stage for things to come. The instructions were practically useless. At least IKEA instructions, which are universally derided as difficult to comprehend, are specific to the product they come with--these were 10 times worse. Here I had to figure it all out on my own and just refer to some vague, half-complete images of the final product and then flip back and forth through the collection of general instructions and try to hope that they were relevant to my particular situation. I can only hope that I found everything relevant because how would I know otherwise? There are several things that, if not done correctly, will void the warranty. Those tended to be particularly obscure and/or challenging-of course. We were fortunate that I have a large collection of tools and equipment that allowed me to finish this project properly. I have no idea where we'd be if I didn't. Even the suggested tool list didn't include the things that I ultimately needed. I expected that, working with a designer and providing our unique specifications, that the pieces would come cut to measure or at least labeled so that I wouldn't have to spend so much time just trying to sort everything out. The system shipped in 23 boxes. Pieces for the four different units were all mixed in together--which is fine, I understand shipping efficiencies--BUT none of the important pieces were labeled. The result is that I had to measure each piece and try to guess where it went. Some pieces were different by less than an inch, so every single thing had to be measured. I know that labeling things is possible from the factory, since all of the structurally irrelevant shelves that just hang on pins had big stickers that I had to remove. Why couldn't the cam shelves and the vertical panels--you know, the ones that I need to actually build the closet--come labeled? At least tell me which of the corresponding units they belong to. Getting those sorted alone took over an hour. I could go on and on. I can't believe that the vertical panels, upon which literally everything hangs, have to be modified to hang over screws on the mounting rail or they will FAIL. This seems like a major design flaw that could be addressed at the factory universally (I came up with a solution using a drum sanding bit on my Dremel which could easily be applied to the manufacturing process if they actually cared) rather than leaving it to the customer to figure out if modification is necessary on any given piece. Using a drill to make a hole for the screw, as they suggest, is also totally inadequate, as sometimes the piece fits halfway over a screw-head, at which point you're trying to drill into half of a board which is extremely dangerous. Or how about that the drawers have four dimple holes for screws, but the sliders have three screws. Two of the dimples are irrelevant and one of the screws has no dimple hole at all! Why didn't you just make three dimples in the correct place? I also had to guess where all the drawers and cam shelves were supposed to go. They provide you with a giant, universal chart for where every possible thing could go in every permutation and combination. It's up to you to figure out which of those configurations matches what you have and then proceed accordingly. Now do that 12 times. If you put a cam screw into the wrong hole--which you're going to do often--unscrewing it causes the laminate to flake off, leaving ugly gouges in the surface. What it all really comes down to is that the things that could have made this truly easy, and which wouldn't necessarily require much extra work on the company's end, were omitted. It's like they deliberately tried to make this MORE difficult than necessary. That's what I don't understand, and why I will tell everyone I know to avoid this product. I will say that the closet looks great now that I finally got everything up, but "easy"? Not even close! *Response to Peter M.* I know how harsh this review comes across; it was not easy to write something so scathing, considering how nice it looks and how well it fits our closet. If it was called "Beautiful Closets" we'd be having a whole different conversation! It's true I didn't call the hotline, but it just never seemed like something that would actually help with the issues I had. But TBH, now that all is said and done, I would probably come back in the future because I feel like an expert now. read more

I placed a design order over the phone on a Tuesday, over the phone design consult on Wed morning, and the product was at my door step Friday afternoon. And for Free shipping. Tracey brought forward design changes that really helped bring it all together. She was also able to help design a closet covering three walls of a walk-in, with one wall have various depths do to a structural beam. The only reason I am not giving them a 5/5, is that the bottoms of the walls chipped a bit when I was installing. They should supply caps of some sort to protect the finish. This is partially my fault as I live in a loft with cement floors. I completed 5 closets!!! (about 44 boxes of closet parts!!) I thought the process was simple. I used the online tools to design my closets and asked for "professional" review. Got some great help from Dimitri Benos to make sure I didn't mess up anything. Products arrived when scheduled. As long as you take your time and follow the instructions from inventorying items to leveling and measuring the hang bar you will be fine. You don't need a lot of special skills just basic tools and patience. If you are not they type of person that wants to follow directions, don't try this by yourself! read more

From a price perspective, EasyClosets IS appealing. + If you are comfortable taking the lead on your own project, designing it yourself, and handling the installation (yourself or hiring someone), then I do think this could be the right fit for you. + The end-product looks great now that it is done. Not "DIY". - If your project is at all complex, or if you are 'worried about your ability to install yourself'...only work with "EasyClosets" if you plan to have professional installation. Rude Design Professional - The woman I worked with was uneducated about her industry: she did not know that "blue board" was a type of drywall. Because she didn't know what blue board was, she tried to tell me that EasyClosets might not be a good fit for us. (Dry wall is their preferred material.) - Communication. For someone who consults over the phone, she had a very difficult time taking information and putting it into action (designing the closet in her software). At first she was confused because she couldn't follow what I said out loud, so she asked for pictures. Then I sent pictures and specific measurements, and she said she couldn't understand from only pictures, that she needed to talk about it over the phone. - Generally abrasive and condescending throughout our calls and email exchanges. I recently purchased this system for a closet and a pantry we created in our home. The pantry was first and there is definitely a learning curve. Pay attention to the directions and things should go well. The second project was the bedroom closet and it was a breeze to put in. If you have the time, I recommend this system as it does improve the organization of space and efficient use of space. We used Easy Closets (again) for our new house. I designed a massive master closet and Dimitri walked me through every step of the process and worked with me through all my changes. LOVE it. My husband installed everything. Don't be scared by all the boxes and instructions. Once you hang the main bars and posts, everything goes pretty smoothly (he is a contractor though so handy). It looks great (did the modern flat with silver) and works great. The design is flexible and you can fit your needs. The only minor thing is that for my husband's side, the top 1/2 hanging bars aren't really high enough for long shirts. So he is using the full hanging and I'm using more of the 1/2 hanging. We also did my son's closet and that worked great. LOVE my hamper and the shoe rack and all the closets. I would recommend Easy Closets & Dimitry - and would use them again (but don't plan on moving so that might happen) read more

The product was easy enough to assemble and looks relatively nice; however, I was very disappointed in the manner in which it was delivered. The free shipping is a nice touch, but it seems that you get what you pay for. A number of the pieces were damaged and scratched when the unit arrived. Its amazing that I was still able to put it together based on how bad the boxes looked when they arrived. Some of the blemishes are front facing and on the polished side so there isn't anything that I can do to hide them. I only ordered half of my walk-in as a test, I will be looking for another company for the more complex and expensive side. read more

I called yesterday to get a quote. I didn't have my exact dimensions, so they couldn't answer any of my questions, but didn't tell me that until AFTER insisting that I set up an account and provided my e-mail address. Today, I called up with my dimensions to start get a quote, and they insisted on giving me to the person I spoke with yesterday (once again not answering my questions). I told the representative that all I did was start an account, but she didn't care. I went straight to voicemail of the person I spoke with yesterday. Had I known that this is what I was signing up for when I started an account, I wouldn't have started an account. This company is more concerned about giving credit to their employees than actually assisting customers. Not-so-Easy Closets is more like it. I am a business owner without much time on my hands, so i need to be able to get a representative on the phone, get my questions answered and move on. Easy Closet's process is 1) assigning you a designer without explaining what that means and 2) forcing you to work exclusively with that one designer for any questions down the road. The entire process is not centered around the consumer's convenience, but instead the company's convenience. The Easy Closet on-line design tool is easily the best system of this type I have ever worked with. The quality of the material is great. My closet included 2-10 foot walls containing 4 sections of hanging and shelving, and one 7 foot section on the back wall with a pull out laundry basket, 2-12 inch drawers, and 3 pull out wire baskets. It all arrived in 32 cartons and was damage free. The packaging is amazing. Every piece fit perfectly. The instructions were clear and the support staff is great if you need some help or have a question during your installation. Take your time and get the steel track hung perfectly. I had an ugly wire-based walk in master closet that I was eager to replace and wanted a good DIY project. I found EasyClosets after some online searching. Their design tool is wonderful and so easy and even fun to use. I spent lots of time designing using the tool and Dimitri's free tips and suggestions were great. He suggested creating extra shelving to separate two perpendicular hanging sections. This extra shelving is great and visually appealing. The materials arrived in 3 days, were packaged appropriately, and the instructions were easy to follow. I discovered my walls were thicker than the standard sheet rock so I had trouble installing the metal rail, but I was able to figure it out with only a phone call to the guys at EasyClosets and an extra trip to Home Depot. From start to finish,my husband and I have been so impressed with the quality of the product, price-point and customer service. Our first experience with easyclosets.com was a few years ago. We owned a small 1 bedroom apartment in S Florida. My husband and I designed and installed two small and one large closet in our unit. With the help of the free design program, we maximized the amount of storage space. It was so much easier to keep organized. Two years post install, the materials still looked brand new. The buyer who purchased this property had multiple units to choose from in our building. We were told that it was our bathroom and custom closets that motivated him to purchase our place over the other options on the market. Our most recent undertaking was a bit more involved. We custom designed a very large built in dresser. This time we enlisted the use of the design team.....they are available to you for free!!!! Our custom dresser was so large, it maximized the allowable size available by 2 inches. a lovely designer named Rozz, had excellent and economical suggestions to frame in our dresser. We have yet to install the frame, but can tell it is going to look gorgeous! Truthfully, if I was reading this review.....I would dismiss it thinking the author and her husband were much more handy than the average joe. I am a waitress by trade and my husband a computer guy.......no special skills in this department at all. The custom cabinet install took an afternoon. It actually takes longer to open all the carefully packaged boxes that contain the materials that it does to assemble the design itself! And lastly, we priced California Closets and some systems from The Container Store and IKEA. Wow....it really was easy. I had my own design ideas but had a call a couple of times to figure out how to execute them. Reps were very helpful. I even called after placing my order and had to do a quick measurement correction. They were so easy to deal with. My 9 year old and I did the entire closet in 2 afternoons. If we hadn't painted and wall papered we could probably have done it in one. ****Watching the 8ish minute video online is a must for everyone. I used Easy Closets to design a custom walk-in closet, after dealing with a disorganized closet for years where we only had one rod per wall -- leading to a lot of clutter and messy piles of clothes leading to frustration. We ordered our closet from EC several months ago and the closet has held up extremely well. Both my husband and I now say our closet is one of our favorite places to "escape" in our apartment. We often just go in there and stare because that is truly how happy it has made us to finally have put an end to the chaos that used to be our closet. Before using Easy Closets, we had planned to use the IKEA PAX system (still a great system if it fits your needs) but for us we found it too limiting as they only come with pre-determined wardrobe sizes. Had we gone with IKEA we would have sacrificed a few feet here and there, which with a small walk-in, every bit of space counts. Their closets are automatically 24" deep but what we liked about EC is that the standard size is only 14" deep, giving us much more room to walk around and actually use our walk in closet the way it was intended. Besides IKEA we compared costs to the new TCS system from the Container Store - gorgeous but honestly not that much different from the product EC is offering except they install it for you - as well as one of the mail coupon companies that advertise custom closet solutions and require you to schedule an appointment for a rep to measure your closet in person and try to sell you right then and there. Both these solutions were much more expensive than EC and we felt would be too much hassle. Plus we would have had to make sacrifices on some of the features we wanted because it simply would have cost too much. I compared the materials all these companies are using and even the big name companies seem to be using the same type of wood as does EC with a huge markup. What I really appreciated from the get go with Easy Closets was the online system which once you get the hang of it, is super intuitive and easy to use compared to other online designers. At first, I was a little intimidated with all the choices, so I did call for advice and Roz answered the phone. Another great thing about EC is their fast and efficient customer service. Roz continued to be our main contact throughout the ordering process, answering questions at all times of day and leaving a voicemail if she missed you. She even called to tell me she made a few improvements to our design when we made a few changes, as she knew those changes wouldn't really be possible based on our closet dimensions. I really appreciated the extra insight from someone who knows her stuff and it was half because of Roz that made us want to use EC. EC if you are reading this Roz deserves a raise! She even made sure we knew about the current advertised discount. For any reviewers who complained about not knowing you need to use a saw, it is made pretty clear on the website in the "Easy process" video that lives on their homepage. That video is super cheesy and made me laugh a bunch of times but I really related to it as the whole reason we were customizing our closet was to escape the messy clutter. Both the website and the instruction packet EC provides walks you through what to do if you have a more challenging closet such as ours - our building is old, built in the 1960's and before installing we had to remove the old shelves that were painted over (not an easy task and required a trip to Home Depot to purchase a crowbar), then spackle/fill in holes and repaint walls. You are doing all this yourself before you even start to build your custom closet. For anyone wondering if the previous reviews are true, do count on receiving at least 25 boxes. The packaging center wastes a lot of cardboard (recyclable but still) and can definitely fit a few more pieces together but we didn't have any damaged items. Roz even helped us set up freight delivery given we live in an apartment building and to receive 30 boxes by UPS would have been a little strange. We were missing one of the extra accessories we ordered and Roz and team shipped it out to us the next day. They even re-shipped one of the shelving units that chipped off during the initial installation process. We have another small hallway closet that we are considering doing through Easy Closets and we would recommend them to anyone. The "easy" part is relative to your walls but we are confident had we gone with one of the professional install companies they would not have done as thorough of a job in navigating around our wall's problem areas as we did so there is a lot that goes into projects that you DIY. We hope this review helps anyone who is thinking about this system - do it. And thanks again Roz and Easy Closets for helping us to transform our master walk-in closet - it is night and day compared to the old system we had. In my search for a closet organizer, I was being referred to a company that goes by a name of a large state in the far west of the US. Needless to say, I was very unimpressed by the high price of the product. The company kept telling me they had the highest quality of any competitor in the field and used high-pressure sales tactics to obtain a sale. The salesperson looked down their nose when I suggested perhaps looking at a level #2 install as opposed to her suggested and Highly recommended Level #3. I checked out several other companies products and was left underwhelmed with the quality that really didn't compare to the quality of the aforementioned firm. I had almost decided to bite the bullet, and write the check! Fortune intervened, and I was given the opportunity to inspect an installed organizer from EasyClosets. Wow, "Now that's what I've been looking for" and I was impressed. For a considerably lower price, EasyClosets provided me with an exact fit, high-quality and attractive organizer that puts a smile on my wife's lips every time she walks into the closet. She absolutely loves the Hutches with their full slide-out drawers. Recommendations are always subject to the reviewer's prejudices. It is impossible to meet everyone's expectations and acquire full satisfaction from most any endeavor, but EasyClosets comes pretty darn close. If you have any reasonable mechanical aptitude, the assembly is quite easy and obtaining a professional looking result is a breeze. My wife and I just bought a house in Florida (moving from the Chicago area). We knew we wanted to install new organization systems in three closets similar to what we had done in our previous home with EasyTrack. But, in our internet shopping, we found EasyClosets owned by the same company that owns EasyTrack. You won't find EasyClosets at big box stores; they sell through different marketing channels. What's the difference? Well, we got low prices, free shipping, and assistance in design (Denise was terrific!) and custom-cut pieces. We chose to start with our smallest closet, only three sections on a closet wall 84-inches wide. If I had purchased through most other organizer companies, I learned I would be cutting many of the shelves to custom widths. That brings complications to the workplace and a good chance I would cut something too short, or out of square. With EasyClosets everything was custom cut for us except the steel rail that mounts to the wall, and the plastic decor-cover that goes on the rail. There are good reasons why those need to be cut at the jobsite, and it doesn't have to be perfectly on dimension, or perfectly square. You do need a hacksaw. After doing my own design on their website, I got a phone call and an e-mail offering their help with the design. I explained how I expected to use the closet and had a very productive discussion with Denise. She reviewed the plans, made some suggestions, and added notes for the production team to follow as they prepared my order for shipment. She included some extra mounting hardware (screws). So, this order should process through their system ready for me to install; custom cut to my needs; I am good-to-go, right? ... Exactly! The order shipped the next day, was delivered in eight boxes by UPS who carried the boxes into our home for us. In the meantime, Denise sent us an e-mail with links to a couple of very helpful videos to prepare us for what was ahead. We opened the box that said "OPEN FIRST" and began to read the two manuals about installation. One of those manuals is generic and available online at their site. The other was specific to our plan, it included a complete inventory of what they shipped to us. Advice? ... READ THE MANUALS, and watch the videos. More than half of my installation time was spent on the mounting rail. That part must be done right, else you will be in trouble. Also, use a string to help assure the rail is shimmed straight and not bent to conform to a warped wall. This may seem like a trivial part of the installation (it is) but it is very important. The string, when stretched from one end of the rail to the other, should show you that the rail is straight. I needed to shim the rail a quarter-of-an-inch from the wall in one place. Once I started installing shelving, I found how critical this "straight" issue is and needed to take off the hanging verticals and re-shim the rail to get that as close to perfect as possible. The re-work was time well-spent. Total install time was less than four hours (I wasn't in a hurry). Every one of our eight boxes was labeled with its contents, and the contents were matched up to provide efficient and protective packaging; it's not necessarily grouped by how you might intend to put them together. All shelves and verticals were individually labeled with their dimensions, though the label does not make that point obvious. You have to read the label to find the information. It's up to you to organize the inventory for this project. When I ask myself where I'm going to buy the next two closet organizers I need, the quality of the design assistance, the effective packaging techniques, the quality of the components, speed of processing the order, and price, make EasyClosets a no-brainer. read more

Dear EasyClosets, I just wanted to tell you what a great experience we had working with you to re-do our daughter`s bedroom closet. She has two reach in closets and our goal was to move all her clothes and accessories into the closets. We easily started a design on our own on your website and then worked with your designer Roz to fine tune the plan. Roz was incredibly helpful, insightful and responsive. We compared your product to both a local company that designs and installs closets and to a couple of online options (other websites and big box store websites). We found that by ordering from EasyClosets and doing the installation ourselves we saved about 35-50 compared to closet installation companies (about $1000-$1500 for our closet). After seeing both products, I feel they are very comparable. We did find other companies, (big box stores and online vendors) that use similar systems that were a bit less expensive, but we are so pleased we decided on EasyClosets for the following reasons: 1. Drawer boxes come put together already - huge time saver 2. Outstanding instructions 3. Cam shelf installation means that top shelves are fixed and shelves on either side can be installed in the same holes. 4. All shelves and bars are custom cut (only things I had to cut are the steel hanging bar and it`s cover which were easy to do. 5. Enough steel hanging bar provided to cover length of closet as opposed to patching it here and there across the closet and hoping you get it right. 6. High quality drawer front handles (instead of knobs) hardware 7. High quality soft close glides 8. Excellent packaging, boards came unscathed for the most part 9. 3 4 inch MDF The entire closet came in 2 business days. It was clear from the packaging that someone personally checked to make sure all the pieces were included. The instructions were outstanding and the installation was straight forward. There was one piece with a slight problem and without hesitation you shipped a replacement that arrived 2 days later. We are thrilled with the quality and appearance of the final product. We would not hesitate to recommend your product to friends and we will definitely use EasyClosets the next time we want to re-organize a closet. This is my first Yelp review ever, but based on my experience with EasyClosets I needed to let someone know how pleased I have been with my entire experience with this company. Like many other reviews I've read, I came across EasyClosets by a simple google search as I contemplated two closet needs at my home. The first was my son's reach-in closet and the second was going to be a new master bedroom walk in closet to be constructed in the Fall/Winter of last year. After playing around with their design tool, reading reviews, checking out local custom closet companies, I decided to use my son's closet as a test run and made a modest investment with EasyClosets to try their product/system out. I designed the closet completely with their online tool and didn't use the design help with the reach-in closet. I ordered online and sure enough it shipped the next day with three day delivery. Seven boxes showed up at my home three days later, but I knew they would because they gave me a preview of the shipping labels and I could track the packages as they made their way to my home. The packaging was intense in terms of efficiency and protection of the system components. All boxes and content were clearly labeled and the instructions were indeed customized for the closet system I designed online. Again - this was a simple reach-in with basically hanging and shelving. No drawers or other fancy components as this was a basic test and a basic 9-year old's reach-in closet. That said, I was able to install the closet one night after work. I didn't have to cut any rail due to the closet dimensions and design, but suffice it to say if you are minimally handy it is an easy system to install. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the materials and the overall experience I had back in March/April 2016 when I installed my son's closet. Fast forward to the early fall, when we contracted with a local contractor to demolish our existing closets in our master bedroom and to break into the attic space above our one-car garage to construct the space for our master walk-in closet. It was a fairly simple construction project, but did require a building permit, engineering, etc. and took about a month from demolition to completion. Right about the time we had the engineering completed, I started my design work on the master walk-in closet with the EasyClosets design tool. I received a call from Erna Miranda, an EasyClosets design consultant who offered to help me with my design and I took her up on this free service. She was great and patient as I worked through all the thinking that goes into creating useful and efficient closets that meet our personal needs. She offered really insightful ideas and suggestions as to how to improve my space. I have sloped ceilings in the new space and little suggestions meant a lot particularly considering that the space hadn't yet been built. Once construction was complete and finished flooring installed, I verified final measurements and Erna made adjustments to the design to accommodate the new measurements and placed the order with EasyClosets just before Christmas. While my son's reach-in was a simple design, we went full-on adult with this design including pull-out ironing board, dirty clothes hamper, 11 drawers of various sizes, a valet pole, two belt racks, his and her shoe racks, and a sliding pant rack. Needless to say we had a few more boxes and the 36 boxes weighing nearly 1,200 lbs showed up on a Tuesday last week. It took me 4 hours just to take the boxes up stairs, unpack them, and take inventory of the parts. During that inventory I found that one drawer box and the pant rack was missing. I contacted my customer service rep, John Myers who was extremely helpful and immediately ordered the missing items to be shipped. I did have to cut the metal railing this time and this was a simple thing by using a jigsaw with a metal cutting blade. Literally 15 seconds to cut the rail using the jigsaw with proper blade! The specialty items were not difficult to install and I actually enjoyed the increased complexity that these parts added to the installation. I cannot stress how simple the installation is, but I can see that this wouldn't be the case if one hasn't clearly measured the space in which the closet is being installed. Some suggestions for anyone looking to purchase and install an EasyClosets system: 1. Use the design consultants (Erna Miranda was mine and she was great!) 2. Measure three times and order once. 3. Use a jigsaw with metal cutting blade if you want the rail cutting to be easy. I highly recommend this company. I've included some pictures of my new closet which we LOVE! read more

I ordered a system from Easy Closets for my master walk-in closet. I started with a design on the Easy Closets website and later called the 800 number to discuss my design with Dimitri. He provided some very good advice on my design and even helped me finalize it. A couple of weeks later, my system arrive in 34 meticulously packed boxes on 2 pallets. The delivery driver was professional and moved the pallets into my garage for no extra charge. I followed the customized instructions for my system and found the installation process to be very easy. The instructions included a lot of helpful tips and tricks. The installation can be a little time-consuming, but the end product is well worth the time. Amazingly, my shipment included all parts I needed, and even some extra shelve pins, screws, etc. All components were cut to the exact dimensions as indicated in my design. The only thing you need to cut is the metal track, but a good hack saw makes quick work of this task. The finished product was even better than I expected. Everything fit together very nicely and the system is very sturdy. I saved several thousand dollars over California Closets or Closets by Design by designing and installing it myself. I am looking forward to finishing the rest of the closets in my house with Easy Closets. read more

Great closet systems. Highly recommended. We did a remodel of a pretty large walk in closet and while this system wasn't cheap (over $3000 for our closet) , the quality was nice and install was pretty straight forward. They claim great customer service and their claims stand up. They were very helpful and very responsive throughout the whole process of designing, ordering, shipping, questions on installing and even sending some replacement parts after our install. We have now made our second order of easyclosets for a second closet in our home. I was very surprised on the first order to be called by a designer because she had questions on my initial design. I didn't ask for this, it is just their process and Denise was very helpful in validating my design and ensuring what I was ordering would work for our situation. While on the phone with Denise, she also suggested a freight delivery due to the size of the order. Again, not something I asked for, but instead something they offered for the client experience. During shipping one of the parts was damaged. My wife called, and no questions asked, they sent out a replacement part for 2-day shipment. While doing the installation of the drawer glides, we had thought we had a bad set of glides.. Again, my wife called, and no questions asked, they sent out a new set of glides 2-day. --I later found that the initial glides were fine and that I had made a mistake on the installation. Net net.. They stand behind their product.. The instructions that ship with the order are excellent. However, I highly recommend you read them through prior to starting. There are subsections within them that pertain to certain portions of your installation and a full read through makes it much simpler to understand where to reference certain information. Thus, you may be on page 5 for one part of your installation, but page 8 and 9 may have information you also need to know for that same step. Again, not a problem once you understand how the instructions are laid out, but we did scratch our heads a couple times with our first install. The quality is there. Everyone that has seen our closet immediately comments on that, and comments on the pricing. We have friends that had custom closets installed and paid far more than what we did and aren't the same quality as ours from easyclosets. Lastly, I am not handy. My wife commonly says "thank god for husbands that make small jobs large enough for professionals to finish." I was able to install these no problem (with her reading the instructions:-), and our next set will be even easier and faster, now we know all the steps.. We recently did an extensive renovation of our master bedroom suite, including a large walk-in closet. I contacted several companies that offer closet organization systems but only one was interested in responding to my request for help - Easy Closets. Roz Ross, a designer for Easy Closets, responded to my email the very next day and even included a preliminary design based on general information I had provided. I called her on the personal business line she sent me and she listened as I detailed the design layout I already had in mind and reviewed the layout I submitted online. She gently pointed out flaws that would have created problems and offered suggestions to correct the issues. She took my design plan and tweaked it to use every available inch of space. She never tried to push me to include features I did not need or want. She was very helpful and quite knowledgeable. She helped create an organization system for our closet that fit our needs perfectly! She even worked to help get us the best price possible! Our system was delivered quickly (within a week)directly to our garage. Contents of every box was clearly labeled and assembly instructions were easy to follow. Videos were available to review as well. The system was simple to install and any question we had was answered immediately with just a phone call. This organization system is sturdy and well made, with beautiful finishes, yet at a price point that makes it affordable! Not sure if I would buy again, The installation instructions suck. They are not clear and leave a lot to "guessing". I'm good at reading drawings (used to draw mechanical/electrical layouts) and the ones that come with the kit leave a lot to be desired. One of the 4 sections had to be cut down, I don't know if it was my mistake in measuring or theirs in fabrication; which ever it was, was not worth sending anything back. I have worked 2 full days on assembling 2 sections and have 2 small sections to go. If you are not adept at assembling a jig saw puzzle with limited instructions, this kit is not for you. When the shipment arrived, I was amazed that there was absolutely no order to the "stuff". I can only assume that it was put together in what ever order was easy for the warehouse workers. It would have been nice if it was shipped in a "group" order. After writing this,, would I order again from EasyClosets; not if I needed a much closet storage is we did. I would only order a small system. read more
