Since then, my garage door was back-breaking to open, and they told me there was not enough ceiling space to install an automated garage door opener. I got tired of lifting the heavy door, so I called Adam, who responded immediately and diagnosed the problem as a spring that was too small for the 90-pound door and a track that was too close to the wall. For $300, he replaced the spring with the correct size and adjusted the placement of the track. In addition to that, he said he could install an automatic opener using the front wall (not the ceiling) for $575, which he did. And so, after years of putting up with a terrible garage door, Adam has given me a garage door that is easy to open manually and which I can open with a remote. I appreciate Adam's knowledge, skill, and his willingness to explain the problems and solutions.

He also lubed and checked all others parts thoroughly and helped answer our questions on the rubber insulation and other concerns. Found Local Garage Doors who were happy to help. From the moment we called they were professional, kind, and most importantly, able to come out within a couple of hours of our call! Within minutes of hanging up we received text updates on when we could expect our service tech and they even included a photo of whom we should expect to see when we answer the door. Our tech, Jorge, arrived on the front side of the time window given, which was nice. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and able to give us an estimate right on the spot. I was concerned that the job might require him to return with more parts or additional manpower, but Jorge let me know he was able to get the job done immediately! Within a couple hours Jorge was able To complete the full repair and even let us know there is a year warranty on the repairs so should anything come up, we were covered. Which is weird because we texted us 45 minutes ago saying he was on the way. He told us he would be there by 10AM the next day. We hadn't heard anything by 9AM so we called him, no answer. Texted him, no answer. Eventually he responds and says they are sending someone else. That guy showed up at 10:30 and fixed the problem. Replacing two springs cost $950. He gave us a minor break in the price, since they were, you know, over 18 hours late. He was very nice. Delays happen, but it felt like they booked us for a time slot they couldn't meet. Had they said we can't come today, we would have called someone else, which I guess is why they told us they could make it.
