Great coffee shop! First experience at a weed coffee shop and it did not disappoint. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Tried some homegrown Dutch cannabis that was comparable to top shelf in California! (moonshine haze). Apparently a lot of celebrities have visited according to their website. They provided a grinder, lighter, papers and filters for use at the cafe. Edible tasted good and potent. Had some cool clothes for the shop too. Would recommend to anyone trying to find a less tourist trap type of coffee shop. read more

Such an awesome vibe inside. From the live DJ to the endless selection of cannabis and edibles. It's definitely amazing. The pricing here is pretty over priced compared to other places, I'm assuming because its more touristy. I wasn't a fan of the prices because I know that all the other coffee shops have the same if not more choices to choose from. The vibe is awesome and I definitely recommend checking it out.. if the price was right I would of given 5 stars. Also: just a heads up to my possible customers going to check it out unless you buy coffee from them you cannot sit inside, even if you make multiple purchases of other items. We were literally told we had to leave if we weren't buying coffee which honestly was just rude to me. The view from right outside is amazing! This came "highly" recommended from people In a Amsterdam expat group on Facebook that I asked for recommendations from. It's right be where I'm staying and close to the Leidseplein square. It's in front of the canal so you get to see water for a view from the outdoor seats. This is my first pot coffee shop experience in Amsterdam and it made a great first impression for me of smoking weed in public. The place is cool they have a dj playing chill electronic music and coffee and baked weed pastries. It's like a Starbucks but with everyone smoking weed and eating weed brownies and muffins. I smoked their sativa joint it was 9 euros for a prerolled one. A little pricy but I'm glad I got it. Was a good relaxing high that didn't make me feel lazy but it made me chill and zone out for a bit pondering life and experiences and the surreal feeling of being here. I could roll my own but didn't really feel like going thru all the hassle. It's good I did get the pre roll because when I roll joints even with a roller, it seems to burn very fast and uneven. Their preroll smoked more like a cigarette where it burned evenly and didn't go out. Also burned slow. So I felt like a complete rookie here as I was sitting watching like 4 different groups of girls come in and they had their own weed kits in their purses. One of the girls even had a kit that said first aid on it hahaha in these kits they had papers, a grinder, a tin can to put the grinded weed on to roll it. They rolled freehand. I noticed they like to mix tobacco with their joints here. I personally don't like that. But seems common in Europe. So lesson I learned while sitting here zoning out observing people here was to come prepared next time. Bring Grinder, papers, a pipe, and a bong, and lighters. read more

This was my favorite coffee shop that I went to while in Amsterdam (and my boyfriend took me to many). We were just walking around and randomly walked into here. Coming from someone whoo does not smoke, this was such a cool vibe. The front of the shop is where you can sit or buy whatever goodies you want. The back area is awesome. The lights are super dim, there's artwork all over, and Pringle chip dispensers too. There are tables on one side, and the other side are couch-booth type chill areas. Came here for a brownie and it was so tasty! I wasn't expecting such a moist brownie. As for the effects, brownie had 2 leaf symbols. The most was the organic space cake that knocked out my couchsurf friend. I split half of the brownie with a tinder date and it supposedly hits you after 2ish hours. I felt nothing but he felt something so maybe my liver was really good at processing it and filter out those toxins? No complaints just had to try it since I was in the city! Spent a weekend in Amsterdam and was pointed towards Easy Times by an employee at a nearby hat shop. The prices were fair - unlike many other coffee shops that take advantage of unknowing tourists. Easy Times has a comfortable lounge in the back, with plush seats, some drapes, and cool mood lighting. If you sit in this area, you are expected to purchase a beverage. I recommend the hot chocolate because its comforting and warm on a rainy day. They also have a Volcano that patrons can use. The staff is helpful, friendly, and accommodating. They will roll joints for you (with the weed you just purchased) if they are not busy and you ask nicely - which I really liked because I found that some of the pre-rolled joints from other locations usually contained tobacco, even when I asked for pure. Highly recommended. The atmosphere is super chill and relaxing. Definitely worth a visit if you get the chance to frequent this beautiful city! read more

My favorite "coffeshop" in Amsterdam. Although, there's not a lot of coffee drinking going on in any coffeeshop in Amsterdam, I will say that Easy Times was the most enjoyable. It's one of the larger shops. The front room has stools and tables. The back is more chill, with a harem-like feel. You can sit back, relax, have a cappuccino, have other things... ;) The dude who runs this place is super cool. He's sharp, intelligent and he will tell you some stories. Went here on a Friday night. Mistake. Far too busy for a "chill" vibe. The front bar had people at least five deep at times, and you feel very rushed. As others have mentioned the crowd is very young, early 20s. I have a little gray hair and felt somewhat uncomfortable, because they're all pretty faces but pretty boring. Minimum purchase amounts pushed from 1 to 2 g, and there was a big push towards prerolled, which is available both with and without tobacco. They have lots of edibles, but I didn't try any, so I can't comment. Probably better during the week. Still working for my chill place. read more

Random stop in. Firstly, I'd give any coffeeshop an automatic 3 unless there was some type of really bad service just for being a coffeeshop. That being said.. What they have here is a lounge type setting. The music that was playing reminded me of the music they play at Paradise Beach in Mykonos Greece or something. I just couldn't get the visual of Italian guys in their speedos dancing on top of the beach bars. Memories ! Lol Not exactly my type of vibe for a coffeeshop. Electronic Techno type music. The crowd was mixed but mostly too young for me. Early 20's maybe. The weed was priced a bit higher, like 2-3 euros. It also felt a bit rushed. It was busy and I understand they want people who are finished to get up so the next people can come in but the man running the front was way too intense, scoping the room out every 30 seconds. He was walking around cleaning the ashtrays obsessively and overly picking up empty cups like literally the second you finished your last drop of whatever you were drinking . If that's not a hint to get your ass up I don't know what is. At one point I stood up to use the restroom and he rushed over because he thought I was leaving . Um, yeah not yet. I'll be back for a few more minutes so just chill. I was probably inside for maybe 15-20 minutes. That was good enough for me. Enter Coffeeshop Easy Times which I found on Yelp. Walked in, checked out the menu and knew my options were limited as I don't know how to roll so I had to go with pre-rolled. Bought the joint, and went to sit down and realized I have nothing to light the joint with (genius, I know). Back to the counter looking like an idiot and the guy gives me a lighter. Back to the couch and I realize all the tables have candles on them... Anyhoo, really cool chill space with good music. I bought a space cake when I left which came in handy when my mother dragged me to a 2 hour classical music concert at the Concertgebouw... Fresh from my first trip to Amsterdam. We checked out six coffeeshops in the area, and Easy Times gets my vote for best all-around experience. It's not fancy, which is perfect for me. Very chill atmosphere. Great soundtrack. The salespeople were respectful and consistently sold us a little over a gram. The spacecake is like sponge cake and very effective. Nice beverage selection. Came here with my boyfriend to get a space cake. We were told that one of the 10€ would do the job for two people. We ate it and NOTHING HAPPENED! We were out walking in the city waiting for a result and were disappointed by the recommendation. But we did get dry mouth after... I would try another place for an edible next time. Very bad staff. The first male staff who we purchased our weed from got an attitude and super inpatient when I asked if I can use the vapor. He basically told me I have to wait and he doesn't know how long to get a bag for us; if I don't want to wait I can leave and no need to buy the weed. We decided to wait. After waiting for a while, we saw someone returned their bag. But a female staff immediately gave the bag to some other customers. So I went to ask them if there is a wait-list. The girl said she was not aware that someone is waiting and now we have to wait for the next one because there are only two vapor bags. I was getting pretty upset but my husband calmed me down and insisted on keeping waiting. After a while waiting, the third female staff was about to give the bag to someone else until we rushed to the desk and told them we are waiting. So the third female stuff took out another vapor bag. What? After all this wait, you told me there are three bags now? What was I waiting for then?? Very bad service system and super untrained staff. Never go back again! read more

I went to a "coffee shop" in Amsterdam! They have wifi there too (hence the check-in). We tried a brownie and had a spliff, or whatever you call it. To be honest.. I just cannot inhale so I can't tell you how the weed is. The brownie was yummy though I didn't eat enough of it for an effect. Yes, I'm a poser whaddeva. It is a very cool place, we had a great time there. The staff was super friendly and willing to give you advise if you're not familiar with how coffeeshops work. It's not in the centre of Amsterdam itself, but it's not very far either, only 2 minutes walk from the Prinsengracht tram stop. They have free wifi, and the hot chocolate was absolutely delicious. This was my go-to shop in Amsterdam. It was a one minute walk from our hotel and recommended by the front desk. The people here were very nice and the quality of the goods was amazing. Brownies tasted so good and very potent for me. I ate 2/3 and my girl ate 1/3 - we were blasted for hours. For me the The Bulldog is legendary but I was told to stick with the smaller shops.
