We had 5 tree companies submit bids to remove a 90' redwood tree just a few feet from our house. Easystump's owner, Darren came out first, explained how he would do the job and gave us a bid within an hour. Easystumps bid was the lowest of 5 but we had already decided to go with them because of Darren's very professional manner. We also loved their many great reviews. As promised a crew of 8 plus a large crane with operator assembled and began working at 8 am. They safely removed the tree in 4 sections laying each section in the street to remove limbs and feed them into the chipper. The crew all move in a seamless orchestrated manner without instruction. Attention was always given to safe traffic control for passing vehicles. I have worked on large utility crews. My work and theirs can be very dangerous. All of Easy stumps crew members were professionally dressed through out. Each used head, eye and ear protection as well as gloves. Some were constantly cleaning up. The whole job with cleanup was completed within an hour. We, along with our neighbors, were amazed! So get as many bids as you like but pay attention to the reviews. Their staff was great with communicating and setting up a time to come and survey the tree for removal, as well as called 811 to check for utility lines that might be in the yard. When the day came for the tree to be removed, they called over two hours before the appointment was ready to see if they'd be able to come early since they'd finished another job.
