The drinks weren't as good as I expected but other than that I would recommend coming here. Such nice decorations as well you really did feel like you were there when getting your food. Also, if you don't finish all your food you don't need to pay extra so you don't have to eat everything on your plate.

Za Za Bazaar featured one of the most diverse buffet spreads I've ever seen. There were a total of…read moresix different stations with dishes from all around the globe: Indian (with both street food and curries), European (including British and Italian), Tex Mex (including burgers, tacos, nachos, and Caribbean food), Far East (stir-fries, sushi, noodles, pan-Asian), Salad, and Dessert. Some of the standout items for me came from the Indian station, including dishes like dahi bhalla, Amritsari fish (breaded fish, which was much more flavorful than the fish and chips at the Great British station), tandoori naan, dal tadka, vegetable korma, aloo gobi, rogan josh, and chicken tikka masala, all of which were boldly and authentically spiced. Other items I liked included the reggae wings (jerk chicken wings) from Jamaica; the pico de gallo, guacamole, and smoked salsa from Mexico; and the soft-serve vanilla ice cream from the dessert station. Still there were so many other items that I barely got to try including Thai Green Curry with Chicken, Black Pepper Beef, British beef stew and mushy peas, and several made-to-order stations including dosas, piri-piri chicken, pasta, risotto, and noodles. Everything was quality and delicious, the night market atmosphere was fun and lively, and most amazingly, the buffet was just 13 GBP for a weekday lunch! That's not even enough for a single entree elsewhere in Britain, but here you could get plate after plate of foods from all around the world to your heart's content!

Hmmmmm I was pretty sure I had reviewed this place just after I visited.... Guess not.... Ok so I…read morelove the idea of the place and it has lots of potential. They sell burgers and wings etc and I love that you get kitchen roll on the table. They get 3 stars because I feel they need to work on their food a bit. When I sat down I got a doors and was given some complimentary popcorn. They have blue moon on draft as well as the doors and some other American beers in bottles. The menu is your typical American style restaurant, burgers, Philly cheese steaks, hot dogs, fries and chicken wings. I opted for the Philly cheese steak and some fries. This is where it goes wrong a bit, the bread was cheap cheap cheap, really fluffy and over dry and breaking up, I'd go so far as to say it may have been day old bread.... The steak was tough and overlooked but the flavour itself was quite nice. The chips were good and I was given a bit pit of Mayo. My waitress was a wee star, I just thought she was brilliant at her job and she gave brilliant customer service and she's the reason for 3 rather than 2 stars, I would have given 4 but I want to give them something to work towards, as the food must be as good as the customer service. I would return again but would have no hesitation sending back if I had the same bread issues again. They should really think of getting a local baker to produce their bread rather than buying bulk from the catering supplier.

The family and I had a great time here tonight. The staff was uniformly friendly and helpful. The…read morefood was delicious. Highlights were the corn dog app and the buffalo chicken sandwich. The ribs, pulled pork, and brisket were excellent. One downside: someone needs to give them a better Cole slaw recipe. It is not good--nothing but cabbage and mayo. Add a little vinegar and pepper to make it bearable. Also the music might have been a little loud, but I am an old guy.

Believe the hype…read more Kino is my favourite cafe in the UK. Trips from London to Bristol have been scheduled in the past for no other reason than a Kino Visit and will be scheduled in the future for no other reason for a Kino Visit. I do have friends in Bristol, but it's very much Kino first, friends second. And I say that only semi-jokingly. They have a space downstairs where they put on arts stuff. I once saw a play there called Whiskey Tango. The food and drink is all vegan, and is all great. I am a vegetarian, not a vegan, but it never feels like you're just eating a bunch of lentils here. The food has a substantial feel to eat, which they sort of engender by having vegan bacon in their sandwiches, etc. I usually go for a milkshake and the vegan breakfast. I feel an immense satisfaction after having consumed these items. There's so much variety on the menu that I should really try something new each time I come, although I usually end up sticking to the old favourites. There are so many cakes, biscuits, teas, sandwiches etc available that there really is something for everyone. Even the most hardened carnivore would struggle not to like this place. There's something about the space, too, that I like. You feel very free inside. It has a nice community feel to it. The staff have always been great. Give this place a go. But be careful. You might never leave.
