Lovely place with a beautiful atmosphere! We went in late afternoon, and the cafe was quiet and filled with natural light. There's a boutique within the cafe as well, if individuals wish to peruse clothing and unique gifts.
Two of my friends shared a pot of tea, and it was enough for them to each have two and a half cups of tea each. I, myself, enjoyed the Victorian Lemonade, which was bubbly, and just the right amount of sweetness and acidity.
I so desperately wish to give them four stars, but where they excel in ambiance and service, they lack in their actual cakes. Although beautiful, the cakes were all very dry, and we couldn't figure out why until we stayed till closing. At the end of the day, they literally pick up their cakes, and put them in plastic bins to resell the next day! I'm not sure on how hygienic this practice is, but it certainly didn't aid in the texture of the cakes. read more
