We passed this place going from our hotel heading down the hill, past the Assembly Rooms, toward the center of Bath. It's a nice cafe inside a bigger shop called The Loft, nearby some other nice clothing and shoe shops. Inside the Loft, you can find Cafe Lucca, clothing, housewares, furniture, flowers... The space is huge, nice big high ceilings and glass windows. My mom had a macchiato, I had a cappuccino and piece of polenta cake. We took the comfy chairs by the window, read the paper/mags, wandered the store. As we were leaving, the lunch food was being put out on the counter, a huge platter of green beans (looked good!). Other reviews on other sites said service was iffy, but we were there a few minutes after it opened, just past 10am, so no issue... Worth a visit if you pass by. read more
