Helped me with my membership. She spoke about a remodel/update coming soon which is good to hear. We spoke about why I was coming back since I just recently got cleared for exercise after recovering from my MCL tear last year. She had one as well and we spoke as she was working on my application. On the computer. Told her my health issues with digestion and all. She explained that they offer a personal trainer that has experience in physical therapy and nutrition, which is a nice thing to have. I signed up for it for a once a month. Beware of this "pool cleaning service"…read more Not consistent at all! Many times didn't show. When they come to "clean" the pool, they would come for five minutes skimming the top of the pool leaving all flooring, corners and other areas dirty with build up! Pool filter completely filthy. Didn't even show up last day after I polity let them know I can longer use them. Shows how little integrity they have and why they got fired! Definitely not a real cleaning service. Already hired a new company as they could tell these guys were ruining our pool. Again beware and highly recommend not hiring unless you want your pool dirty and giving away money.

Our pool filter cracked to the point of being unusable. High Desert quickly inspected and verified, recommended a replacement (that we are very happy with), and installed the replacement. The installation work was great, no leaks, and they went as far as to repaint our plumbing with matching color. We're new pool owners also, they gave us plenty of pointers for a newbie. Overall we had a great experience and would use again!

One year after the completion of our pool, we now have a broken empty shell of a pool in our backyard. There are cracks all over the pool, including one that goes entirely across the middle of the pool from edge to edge. It won't hold enough water to run the filters for even a single day. Ken just told me today that his insurance is unwilling to cover the repairs because of his poor work. This is after several months of dealing with him making promises that are broken at every turn. I now face the prospect of paying double to have another contractor remove the pool Gold Coast constructed and properly install a new one at twice the cost of the original. Guarantees are worthless if the contractor is unable to to support them. (Continued 2021) After paying lawyers tens of thousands of dollars and dealing with the legal system over the course of the last couple years, I've finally reached a settlement with the insurance company representing Gold Coast Pool Construction. It's not pleasant, it doesn't make up for the lies, stress, and years of lost enjoyment of my own home, and it certainly wasn't cheap, nor does the settlement cover all of my expenses. Gold Coast Pool Construction did not stand by it's contract. They built a broken pool and could or would not provide repairs, and Ken repeatedly lied to me about what he was doing. He left me with bills to cover things he tried to do to repair the pool and was a thoroughly unpleasant person to work with.

Ok so we wanted to try a new park, so I gather up the kids and we head over. This park has a kids…read moresplash pad (I assume is open during the summer months.) The playground has a large rocket which is at least 30 feet high! It includes two totally enclosed tube slides and another 2-4 lower slides. In fact it was so tall I was afraid my 2-4 yo's would be too scared to go up to top, but nope! It took them 2 to 3 times walking up the stairs to gather the courage, but once they did it trying to get them off the slide to put on jackets became more of an issue. We had a water gun fight, ate some snacks and they played til they were wore out. I heard this isn't the grandest neighborhood, although I didn't experience any issues, I am not familiar enough with the AV area to give a honest opinion: good or bad about that so know that my star rating is based solely on my experience inside the park not the neighborhood. The pluses for me was that they had a clean play area and the splash zone is right next to the two grounds. One set is for say 5 yo and up and a more milder toddler area all in same eye path, so you could easily watch two sets of kids. There is a lot of grass areas so you can camp out, have a picnic and make it a day trip with young ones. There is ample parking with a well lit lot. The soccer and other fields were brightly lit so you can play organized sports at night. What I did have a issue with is: The playground isn't lit up at night. (see pics below) which I truly don't understand. We waited thinking that the timer hadn't spring forward with time, but after looking around noticed two things the light structure is set for a dim yellow almost amber light while all the fields have super bright white lights and that one light was actually on so the other 2-3 lights just hadn't been maintained! Shame on parks and rec to not thinking of the safety of children especially during spring time when families are coming back out in larger groups. And next a question for parks and rec. Why does the playground where our most precious gems would play have the dimmest lights? You are putting children at risk of falling, being touched or hit inappropriately or worse (use your imagination!) This should be the brightest lights the park has not the darn soccer field. How is any mom and/or dad going to go let the little ones play while waiting for their older ones to finish up a practice or game with little to no lights? That needs to be addressed ASAP!!! and that is the reason my rating is only a 3 star, because I think that dusk time visits would be unsafe for most families.
