Complaining about a doctor you CHOSE to consistently see despite being dissatisfied is something YOU could have changed yourself (and you could have reported her to a superior). Hinting at poor treatment without giving any real details isn't actually helpful. These sound like they were given by disgruntled customers who probably gave the staff a hard time for something that was either their responsibility or was completely out of the staff's control. I've gone here for the past few years for both primary care and obgyn services and every doctor I've seen has been wonderful. I've seen Dr. Jennifer Velotta, Dr. Alison Stalzer from Lake OB and Dr. Lucy Sason and Dr. Jordan Smith from LCFP for everything from basic exams to random pains/bodily issues to minor surgeries and I'll be new to seeing Dr. Courtney Riggans on Monday. They've all been nothing short of fantastic and caring. They listen to everything I have to say before jumping to conclusions, they never speak to me in a condescending manner, and the secretarial staff meets the same level. They have no problem helping to work around my schedule and answer whatever questions I have. I'll recommend them every time.

First, their front desk staff are rude and overzealous. If you are ill, you can be expected to wait 2 months for the next available appointment or go to an urgent care, when your physician might have squeezed you in. The scheduling only seems to allow for well-patient visits. This may be because UH requires that each visit last only for 15 minutes, putting pressure on physicians to be caring, accurate, and able to diagnose and treat every single thing in 15 minutes. This is not the fault of the practitioners, but rather the system. And is reflected in UH's low abysmal ratings. But really, the front desk staff is reliably awful at this location.

He was personable and very caring. Unfortunately we moved from the area and I recently had my right hip done where we live now. It was a mediocre experience at best. Much more initial pain and I literally saw the doctor for 30 seconds on the day of surgery. If I have to have my knees done I will make the 2 hour drive to see Dr. Bechtel for sure!!

They scheduled me promptly, gave clear instructions and explanations of the procedures they were going to perform. They answered all my questions and put me at ease. My interactions with this team made me feel less embarrassed by the condition of my teeth due to an injury. I received several calls after my surgery to check on my recovery. They even mailed a card to my home saying that they look forward to renewing my smile (Ironically made me cry). The cherry on top is the quality of work they do. I was injured several years ago and my insurance situation is a little weird between workers comp and my regular insurance. The clinic doesn't take Fed WC which is fine. So I double checked with my insurance, Fed WC, and a Fed WC lawyer, all of which said that if the clinic did not take WC all they needed to do was call a number to my regular insurance and get preapproval from them. It was that simple. Instead, they flat out refused and said I needed to close my WC case if I wanted to go there. Which, if you know anything about WC is extremely difficult and also, a bit dangerous in case my insurance decides all of a sudden it's a preexisting condition and they're not going to cover it all after the fact. Then I'm screwed. I would not recommend this office. They are not friendly. They are not helpful. And clearly they know very little about people with chronic pain and depression even though that's one of the things they're claiming to treat. Would not recommend.

I tried to go to Cleveland Clinic but I was told they needed the orders to be in my file. Impossible they're in my hand. I searched and found this place and it already has a good Yelp rating so I trusted my fellow Yelpers and called to schedule an appointment. They're not taking appointments for lab right now unless you are 65 and older. Just walk in . They have great hours from 7a-5p and parking is free. They are following protocol by screening each person at the front door and checking their temperature. The lab is on the lower level and when I arrived I was the only patient. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful despite the masks. I waited in the socially distanced waiting area for less than 10 minutes. I was called back and my phlebotomist (the person who takes your blood) was so nice and professional everything was sterile or sanitized. I'm used to having my blood taken so I wasn't nervous but she didn't hurt me anyway. My lab results needed to be faxed to my doctor and she had no problem with doing that. I called my doctor and they received the results that same day. I recommend this UH location to anyone who just needs labs . It's so convenient and clean and professional.

My first appointment was smooth and everyone was super friendly and informative. They helped me every step of the way. Each appointment was the same way, and they always were so awesome in making sure I was comfortable and not in any pain. The doctor even called a few days after the appointment to make sure I was doing ok. I love this place and highly recommend it. When Dr. Roger Hess entered the room, instead of focusing on the appointment, he began offering explanations for his late arrival. I made it clear that the excuses were not my concern and that I wanted to move forward with the appointment professionally. What immediately stood out to me was that while I was addressing the situation, he was smiling and laughing, which came across as dismissive and unprofessional given the circumstances. Shortly after that, it became obvious he had not reviewed my referral and did not even know why I was there. At one point, he commented that he would need to read through the 10-page VA referral during the appointment itself, which confirmed he was completely unprepared. As both a veteran and a counselor, I understand healthcare offices can run behind at times. However, being over an hour late, unprepared, and unfamiliar with the reason for the visit is not acceptable--especially after a patient drives a significant distance for care. Overall, this was one of the most frustrating and unproductive medical appointments I have experienced.
