When I was ready to get back to work, I wanted to make the transition with Abigail Abbott Staffing Group through temporary assignments as I had a great experience with that particular agency. However, I found out that it was bought out by Eastridge Workforce Solutions, so I decided to give them a try. While I didn't necessarily expect to have the same level of service as before, I did count on a semblance of professionalism and activity, which I didn't receive from Eastridge. After an initial interview with Amanda Clarke that, in hindsight, seemed more like data-mining about my former employer than assessing my skills and profile, I tried to get a follow-up from or even in contact with her through 2 attempts only to receive the runaround resulting in a dead-end voice mailbox both times. Granted, there was an apparent lull in corporate hiring toward the end of the year, but to not receive any response to my attempts of reaching out is disrespectful. read more

I had never worked with a staffing agency before, and being out of work for over a month, I got involved with more than one. Hunter was someone I was connected with somehow, and after she interviewed me we realized we were in different cities, so the likelihood of finding a match would be slim, but she would keep me on her radar. All that to say, about a month passed, and the staffing agency 2 miles from my home I was working with had left me wandering in the dark as far as communication and where I was left standing in my job search. Enter Hunter! All the sudden, one afternoon I received a call from her saying she thought she had found a perfect fit for me in my area. She was extremely communicative- we had multiple phonecalls before the interview- she told me how to dress, even gave me a map of the company (?!). I am so sick and tired of having to constantly call these people requesting follow up. Two years ago after my temporary assignment ended, I came back to Eastridge in search of a Direct Hire position. I spoke to Jonathan Uribe and he assured me he would find work that suits my skills. After two weeks, I didn't hear back from him. I tried calling, but was sent to voicemail. I tried emailing, but no response. I tried talking to anyone else other than him but no one would work with me because I was under him in their system. Two years later I called back and was sent to his voicemail again, I left a voicemail and no response. So I called back again last week to try one more time, I FINALLY got a hold of him. He asked me to email him my current resume, of which I did. So, today I tried to reach out to him again. Once by email and twice by phone. No response. These people NEVER FOLLOW UP WITH YOU! If you aren't on them, good luck hearing from them. If there is nothing that suits my skills, fine. But you should keep in contact with the individual to update them on what you're doing. But they simply don't care too. If you aren't a company paying them for workers, they could give a rats ass about you. I am so fed up it's ridiculous. One star is being kind. I cannot speak for the other associates but I've spoke to Jonathan and Amanda numerous times and have no heard from either of them. Save your time, go elsewhere. read more

Like most recruiting agencies, they are all smoke and mirrors, they slop sugar all over you, then leave you hanging for days/weeks/months--and then stick it to you if they see someone that can get them more money.
