Plenty of things are in the 'village' which is basically a squared strip mall. There are places to eat including two Pizza spots, Applebee's, Vietnamese food and more. For drinks there is sideline bar, groceries and convenience - QFC and Bartell. Coffee? Starbucks. So on and so forth. Across the way there is target, famous footwear and more which is relatively close, it could be walked which is what I did when since I never needed too much at a time. There are plenty of parking spaces and fairly easy to get in and out of. Given how filled up it gets I'd say it's a convenient place as it was for me as well as the folks who regularly come here.

I've seen it go through all the changes from old stores going out and new stores coming in to the Keg getting knocked down to make room for several extra commercial retail space to the parking lot getting renovated. This place thrives because of T-Mobile's headquarter right next door, during the day, it's an invasion from the employees everywhere. Avoid lunch rushes if you're in a rush. People complain about parking, but there's plenty of parking if you just circle around a bit, since it's a pretty in and out area, somebody will be out in a minute. It's convenient for me to walk here without having to go through any crosswalk. There's 3 Starbucks within this complex, one on each side and one inside QFC. I was prepared to be a bit underwhelmed (from LA - not saying…read moreit's better, but I travel a descent amount and I've learned to taper my expectations) but this mall had almost any shop I want! Reformation, COS, Anthropology, Free People, JCrew, Nordy's, and so on. Had an intimate vibe with nooks and cranny's everywhere. People were friendly in the shops. I got lucky with parking right away, so can't speak to how packed it gets but there seems to be a structure for parking. It was pretty full from what I could see. Lots of food in the area, and people walking around. Cute mall and area! If you want Bottega, LV or other brands, there's a shopping center about a mile away that you probably want to drive vs walk to.

What I loved was seeing everything come together in real life--the burgundy, plaid, leopard, cashmere, denim, boots, layers, and those combinations I probably wouldn't have thought to put together myself; that's why I took all the pictures and videos, because sometimes you see something on the rack and think maybe, then you see it styled and suddenly you're like, ohhh... okay, now I need that. I left both shows with new ideas, way too many photos, and a reminder that fashion should be personal and fun--but Nordstrom, next time I'm expecting my name to be called for a prize, because apparently I'm still not over it.

The photos show a fairly empty mall mid day. Huge and wide open spaces. Good lighting too. The value would depend on which store you're looking at. The parking lot around this mall is always busy. Which leads me to believe it's a fairly popular place. I do frequent the Amazon Fresh not necessarily connected directly to the mall but next door. There is a Nordstrom Rack, lakeshore education store, and of course the T&T Supermarket on one end of the mall. So yes, a large selection of shopping choices with various values. It's a bit tucked away in the Lake Hills neighborhood so I'm only here if it's for something very specific: 1. The spiced meat over rice & house iced coffee from Hardwok Cafe. There's another location in Seattle, but the parking is a nightmare plus the interior isn't as nice as this location. 2. MeetFresh. Not because I'm a fan of their desserts, it's more of a "what's still open after dinner in Bellevue that we can have an excuse to sit and catch up some more". It's open late, plenty of seating to lounge around, I of course would pick something random to buy so I can sit here and hang out. 3. There's a hot pot spot here. I don't come here for hot pot though, I love their mushroom dynamite. On weekdays, it's half priced appetizers during dinner. I feel weird taking up a space and not ordering hot pot so I'll try to find somebody to tag along with so we can order a bunch of appetizers. If the dumpling place would open on my one day off, I would have already tried it since I've heard good things, but too bad I just haven't had the chance to stop by with my schedule. There's a library and dog grooming/hotel where you can upgrade your dog's room to a suite with a TV and ceiling fan for a hefty fee, I'm not sure if they have cable TV for the dog or they are stuck with the basic channels. One downside of this spot is how crowded it gets due to the number of stores in the area, along with limited parking that is also used by employees. While you're usually able to find a spot, be prepared for some walking, as the complex is fairly spread out. I really like The Landing. It's located in Renton right off the 405 freeway at Exit 5, which makes it very accessible. The area has a great mix of food options, including Red Robin, Korean barbecue, Thai food, and even a movie theater. The layout is well spread out and the area is especially known for its Asian cuisine. I definitely recommend taking your time to walk around, especially on the weekends when it's lively and busy. It's also conveniently located next to a park, which adds to the experience. The selection here is mostly food-focused, with limited shopping options such as Ulta Beauty and Target. Overall, the value of this place is decent, though it does lean more toward the expensive side due to its touristy feel. Despite that, I still recommend stopping by.

Crossroads is sort of a hybrid strip and indoor mall which collectively keep itself going. Crossroads indoor portion is held up by a strong food court, it's "Public Market" with a lot of options - burgers, Mexican, Thai, sushi, Indian, Boba, Korean, Hawaiian and more. On top of that, there are plenty of seats. I'd even go so far to say that the Food Court is the main attraction here and the other stores are secondary, which include Old Navy, Hallmark and other services - Mini Library, information about Bellevue and such. The Mall itself looks kept up and seems to be doing well enough to keep going, so I say that's good. People clearly endorse it. I was here on a weekday afternoon for work. I sat down to take a rest and two separate families walked up with their children and put them in those 'coin-operated riding machines'. Moments before this happened, I asked myself "does anyone use these things anymore?". My question was answered. Crossroads is alive.

Inside the mall, it is well air-conditioned and the directory of store and restaurants are easy to find and navigate. I liked the variety of stores that I don't have at my local mall and the food choices were even better. There is fast casual and locally sourced sit down restaurants with great happy hours. The mall was clean and pretty crowded with shoppers and window shoppers. I liked the selection of stores and look forward to coming back in the future.

It opened in 2009, originally with a Niemann Marcus anchoring. It has changed a bit during the years, with NM vacating its space in 2020 as part of its bankruptcy. That large space is currently being renovated for future retail use, but it means as of now, it is luxury brands like Prada, Gucci, Hermes, and Louis Vuitton that are the main draws.
