She's getting all of our service business after the truck left me high and dry on the side of the road after the fuel pump control module went out on me! Chevrolet has an ongoing problem with that particular module and they have been replacing them as a defective part. I called my dealer as it happened on a Saturday. They were still open, but were closing in 20 minutes. I told the guy that answered in service what had happened. He didn't even ask my name or phone number and asked me to call back Monday morning!!! I left a message with the Donaldson Service right after. They were closed on Saturday, but Jana called me the first thing right after they opened on Monday morning! She told me what I needed to do and BAM!!! I had my truck in the service department and out by 1:30pm!!!

I read the reviews from previous customers and decided to make the drive to Beaumont (67 miles) to have a Check Engine Light evaluated on my VW TDI. I got there at 0730 Monday after driving through some nasty rain. First, I was able to drive into the service area, out of the rain and was pleasantly greeted by Andrea who said they would try to work me in since I didn't have an appointment. I was able to wait comfortably in their well stocked waiting area. I had internet, tv and a quiet place to relax. There were several customers who had appointments that were promptly taken care of. I was glad to see that they were taken care of quickly. Everyone there was super nice to me while I waited. I had settled in thinking I was going to be there awhile but Andrea approached me after about 2 hours and said my car was done, they had replaced 2 glow plugs which were covered under warranty (2012 Jetta) and there was no charge. This experience made my early get up, nasty drive and not knowing what the problem was very pleasant. I would definitely go back for service and will plan on shopping there for my next Volkswagen.

Fast forward to today. My husband ran over something large and hard at 70 mph. Hit was so hard it popped the needle off of the speedometer in the dash. Managed to get it into see Joshua. Wasn't good news but he gave me 2 options. First was the minimum that needed to be done. Second was an additional item that really should be done. All said and done, more than I wanted to spend but I still feel he was very fair in his pricing. Been driving the van for a few days now and am very happy with the results. Plus, I have the peace of mind knowing I won't be chewing up my tires every few thousand miles. Just as a side note. I did research Cortez Car Care and discovered something amazing. They have been members of the BBB for 23 yrs this year and have not had one single complaint lodged against them in all that time. In any auto related field, especially repair/maintenance, that is a record to be very proud of.
