I've been going here for massages for many years now. For the last few years I have seen Hope. She…read moredoes a great job, is friendly, and really gets to know you so when you come back she already knows what you like (or don't like!) Normally I just get a one hour massage, and it has always been great. Yesterday, however, I decided to try the Reflexology because my feet have been bothering me lately, so I paired that with a half hour body massage (the Reflexology session is also a half hour). Since the body massage was shorter than normal, she asked me if I wanted her to concentrate on anything in particular, so I told her my lower back was a little sore. She really did an amazing job in a short amount of time, focusing on the spots that were sore, and finding other spots I didn't even realize were sore! The second half hour was spent exclusively on my feet, and it was heaven! She began by using the hot stones on my calves and feet. Then using a combination of massage and pressing on various pressure points, she worked those tired puppies until they felt better than that had in years! There was one particular spot on my left instep that was bothering me, and it feels great now. Hope is a miracle worker! My wife and daughter also go to Pure Day Spa, and they see other therapists and both have had great massages as well. I can't speak to their other services, but the massage rooms are clean and quiet, and the massage therapists, particularly Hope, do a great job.

It was a pleasant experience and the older gentleman has very strong hands. Almost too strong. But if you ask him to go a little lighter he will. When we got into the massage room he said I am going to give you two hours. I said what? He said I am going to give you two hours. I said, oh!! OKAY! While thinking about it I thought I am the only customer here maybe he would rather work than sit around, or maybe its because it is my bday. Or Maybe it is because I am a first time customer. NOPE to all. At checkout he said I owed $130.00 Well I didnt have that much cash on me so he goes credit card? And I am like wait $130.00 plus tip and he said yes. So I said No, I reserved a 90 min. massage for $85.00. He said he gave me two hours. So we went back and forth for a bit when the lady owner came out and pointing at the price board on the wall and trying to say in part english and part other language that yes it would be $120.00 and that is the correct price. She was pointing to a separate foot massage. I was like oh no you dont. I never asked for the two hours, i did not reserve two hours, I never changed my reservation to two hour massage. This is not ethical or good business. I am paying what I reserved for. $85.00 plus a $15.00 tip. Another man came in asking for a massage so the owner lady had to get him out of there as fast as possible so he would not hear what was going on. So, I was firm with the older man and said that I will pay what I ordered and reserved and handed him the cash with tip. He had a very mad look on his face. I then walked out the door.

Booking was easy, you can do so either via phone or the link on their website. Parking is easy and the venue is close enough to I-87 to make it a worthy trip. If you live in the area, or are just passing through, be sure to make an appointment and zen away your day!

The place is located in an old shopping plaza on Columbia Turnpike. It's not much to look at from the outside but don't let that stop you. The inside is small and not terribly posh but my hour massage was amazing. Barbara was the massage therapist and she made me feel right at ease and paid a lot of attention to my neck and shoulders, the two spots where I carry all my stress. I then checked my other cell phones messages and she left a voicemail saying if I do not call her back, then she is going to assume I am not coming to the appointment. I realize many doctors offices give a 2 day notice to remind you of an appointment, but they have never cancelled on me if I didn't call them back. This was a major waste of time. She also does not even use the open method of colon cleansing. She has this creepy looking disgusting transportable unit. There are multiple offices in the buildings she works out of and the people at the front desk gave me a weird "Oh No!!" look when I mentioned her name. They also told me she just rents space from them. It is a very creepy place to go to for a first time. I would not recommend her unless you knew she was going to be in a much more hygienic and professional place with adequate facilities and support staff.
