Mary did a fantastic job on my back especially my shoulder. The foot treatment was done by Mike who certainly knew how to press the right pressure points to make me scream. For $40 I enjoyed 1 1/2 hours of high-quality services, I couldn't complain about that no tea was served before or after the treatment (since I went there for massage not tea). It was one of the best experiences I have had with foot spa. I know their promotion will be over by the end of May. But their regular price is also very reasonable. The relaxation room was nice and quiet, sometimes filled sometimes not depending on the flow of people getting treatment. The lunch food and drinks were great, but we had some off service from the bartender on staff. Our server at the table was great though. Hit or miss and they seemed short staffed. In the locker room multiple showers were broken so we had to adjust our plans on showering after our massages but we made it work. And lastly we had issues with our bill and the staff wasn't able to handle it at the moment so hopefully that got taken care of by my friend coordinating after the fact. I would still give them another chance and maybe see how it is coming alone or with a smaller group.

We visited today, a Sunday, which was a rare weekend visit (usually we take a day off and go during the week for a slight discount in pricing for services). There were a lot of groups of women celebrating birthdays, weddings, and maybe just a girls day (which I have enjoyed there on occasion). We started with 50 minute massages. I had Nikki, who I had not had before but was spectacular. If you are getting a massage for the first time, Nikki is the person to request (although I am a massage pro and still had an excellent experience)! She walked through the process, and was sure to make sure I was comfortable with everything involved. The pressure was perfect and she focused on the areas I requested. Afterwards, my husband and I met in the Bistro for lunch and a cocktail. He had the risotto, which he enjoyed, and I got the chicken salad croissant which is a favorite for me. The grapes, apples and cranberries add a depth that I enjoyed. It was also great to see some seasonal cocktails on the menu (I opted for an apple cider mimosa). Sam and Brittany were super friendly, attentive, and made excellent drinks! We have been going to Spa Mirbeau as a couple, with friend, and with family for the past 5 years and they deliver every time. Can't wait to return!!

I decided that I needed a massage and asked someone I know that's a massage therapist where I…read moreshould go. She recommended Therapeutic Massage so I scheduled an appointment. The place is located in an old shopping plaza on Columbia Turnpike. It's not much to look at from the outside but don't let that stop you. The inside is small and not terribly posh but my hour massage was amazing. Barbara was the massage therapist and she made me feel right at ease and paid a lot of attention to my neck and shoulders, the two spots where I carry all my stress. The hour flew by and before I knew it, it was over. They've got a lot of other services that I might take advantage of next time because there will definitely be a next time.
