We were later told "whoops we forgot to mention it" and "it's their minimum fee." If there's a $300 minimum charge for a stupid simple job customers should be told upfront. Even at midnight, He took the time to understand the issue and assured me it could be fixed. After sending him a few pictures of my boiler system, he was able to walk me through shutting down zones of my heating system so we at least had some heat. He then put in a service call for the following day to have someone come out and fix it. The tech, Joshua, arrived in the following afternoon. He diagnosed the problem and explained what he would do to fix it. It took a little bit to apply the fix due to the tricky location of the pipe, but he was able to get it done. Once the work was completed, he took the extra time to ensure every bit of the system was functioning properly.

On December 10th, they got a call saying the delivery would be delayed to the 12th. On December 12th, they got a call saying it would be delivered on the 13th (today.) After waiting all day and still not seeing a delivery truck, I called CN Brown and was told that their truck broke down and it would likely be at least 5 more days before they could get a delivery to Hollis. If I hadn't called today, I'm not even sure anyone would have reached out to my parents, and I am 100% certain that if I hadn't pressed it on the phone, they never would have shared that it would be at least 4-5 days more before they got the oil delivered. I get that vehicles break down and stuff happens but the lack of communication and transparency is just infuriating. And dangerous--had I not stepped in, my elderly parents would still be waiting for a non-existent oil delivery and very likely would have run out of oil. In December. In Maine. On top of that, when it became apparent to me that my parents were essentially screwed, i expressed my frustration with the customer service rep by telling him I would be sharing this experience with others. At which point he accused me of being threatening. FYI sir: when an unhappy customer warns others about bad service, it's not threatening. It's good old fashioned word-of-mouth and it's the price of doing business.
