Although our heat pumps were originally purchased and installed by Gammon's, this was our first full annual maintenance under their service program. We had expected the work to occur in early fall or mid‑winter, but due to a high volume of emergency heating calls, the company requested that we defer to spring. While the delay was understandable, it highlighted the importance of strong scheduling and dispatch coordination. During the visit, Tyler and Aaron identified several condensate drains that had not yet been tied into the sewer system and completed that final installation step. This proactive work likely prevented future moisture‑related damage to walls or flooring, and we are grateful for their diligence. Their problem‑solving skills, tenacity, and customer‑focused approach stood out and gave us confidence in the long‑term reliability of our equipment. We did choose to upgrade to a more comprehensive maintenance plan and look forward to having our annual service scheduled just ahead of the winter heating season. We recommend Gammon's Heating & Cooling and believe the company delivers strong technical service. One area of opportunity is dispatching and scheduling. It would be helpful for dispatch to confirm the number of units at a customer's home, understand where equipment is located, and estimate the appropriate number of technicians needed. Additionally, providing more accurate arrival windows--or proactive updates when schedules shift--would help customers avoid waiting longer than expected. Overall, the quality of the technicians' work was excellent, and with some refinements to scheduling and communication, the customer experience could be even stronger. We look forward to their handyman sheet rocker coming to patch and match wall section removed and their electrician coming to correct ground fault circuit that appears to be missing a neutral wire.

We did NOT have a good experience. Their communication skills were a -10. They replaced our system with one that has a filter somewhere up in the attic rather than in the hallway ceiling where the old one was. They never informed us until they had to return because they left us with no paperwork and when I asked about filters. They had to return 3 times as we needed instructions that we were not given. I asked about heat pumps while they were here and was told our system did not accommodate them. Never were we asked if we wanted heat pumps before I enquired. Then recently on of the contractors I had fiving me estimates to put in heat pumps asked why they were not put in with the air conditioner unit was installed. He could not believe it was not discussed with us at the beginning of the project. I recently lost my husband and feel we were very much taken advantage of. I plan to consult a lawyer. I do not recommend this company at all. A representative came by and while very nice all he offered was an aplogy and informed me to have the unit fixed to use the existing would cut down on efficiency and air quality. He also told me I needed to replace the filtwr every six months which no one bothered to tell me at installation. He did offer to give me an estimate for the pumps but there is no way anyone from Haley's is working in anything in my home. His parting comment was that I signed the contract so that was that. I am hoping the court will award me the extra $5000 that this is going to cost me now. Boo on Haleys.

Even at midnight, He took the time to understand the issue and assured me it could be fixed. After sending him a few pictures of my boiler system, he was able to walk me through shutting down zones of my heating system so we at least had some heat. He then put in a service call for the following day to have someone come out and fix it. The tech, Joshua, arrived in the following afternoon. He diagnosed the problem and explained what he would do to fix it. It took a little bit to apply the fix due to the tricky location of the pipe, but he was able to get it done. Once the work was completed, he took the extra time to ensure every bit of the system was functioning properly.

I asked tor one unit to be replaced and, with the savviness of a used car salesman he tried upselling to replace all the units in my house. I also told them i didnt need a high volume / top-of-the-line replacement - but the estimate only included the most pricey on the market. On top of that, they have a person who focusses on customer service but as they told me: "he is new and doesnt know anything"... uh, what?
