Cute spot! I feel like it's a hidden gem. The beer selection is small but the atmosphere makes up for it. It's walking distance to Love Lane. They have plentiful outdoor seating. It's great for a sunny day. The staff is very friendly too.

Beautiful flowers to look at while you drink your beer in the outside garden

Very nice for my first time stopping by I usually go to greenport brewery but was in the area and wanted to try something new.The garden is so lovely and relaxing so much quieter than greenport. The only thing that is different is that they only serve chips and greenport has food and more beer options.I would come back with friends as it has a more secluded atmosphere to it than greenport and you can really have a conversation with the people you come with without having to talk over the other person because it is hard to hear the other person at times at Greenport brewery because it gets really noisy and is always crowded and hard to find seating which you do not have to worry about here at all.

This was a very fun craft brewery. Although they only offer 5 beer selections, all 5 of the choices were great. I tried the beer flight of all 5 to start my night. My favorites of the five were the Ill Be Bock and Love Lane Lager. So, I wound up getting a glass of each of these as well. One of the choice was also called a Sexy MF, which was a funny name, and a dark beer. There wasn't alot of people in here, but I love it like that, so I was able to enjoy the space with everyone I was with here. We even went across the street to grab some donuts with out beers, and there was no issues. We took lots of photos and sat back and enjoyed some good tasting craft beers. A fun stop this was.

I've been to many a brew pub and tap room around the the Northeast, lived 6 months in London back in the late 80's before Bud Light took over the world, I've put away more pints you could bounce a half barrel off of and I truly adore this spot in the center of Mattituck that we just happened upon this spring when traveling for a funeral. Doug is a traditional brewer that fell in love with with German beers he drank while serving our country in the heart of Europe, (on the eastern front- get it??) Naturally he now brews traditional European beer- that means no weird unfinished sours, nothing with heavy fruit: They have real beer here: Miami Weiss is a wonderfully sublime classic German wheat. Autonomous Double IPA is a high gravity beer drinkers dream. The Altbier is a true top fermented Düsseldorf clone that is amazing. The TapHouse and the gardens have been meticulously decorated and planted by lifelong Cutchogue native Christina, Dave's partner in life and beer. She along with Doug, have created a unique space in Mattituck, that is a MUST stop and see and drink. How would I know all this? Because Doug and Christina are on site owners- and you will see them at the TapHouse any day you visit! EASTERN FRONT is also a fantastic Live Music venue several nights a week and is also a dog friendly bar- you may even get to meet Bob Barley, Christina and Doug's pup! You won't be disappointed.

On their way to 5 stars! Still brand new, small but cozy layout. They have 5 beers on tap, I only tried one but I just stopped in to get the ball rolling. The beer was very delicious, I think they called it a Love Lane. Once they either pave or gravel the parking lot & get some 2XL tee shirts I'm most certainly going to bump them up to 5 stars. You should go, great place in a great town!

I brought my niece and nephew, and we easily had one of the funnest afternoons! The Barnyard Adventure is a paid area ($28.95 per person on weekends), but with eight acres packed full of things to do, it's worth every penny. To put the size in perspective ... it's like exploring six football fields lined up together! The highlights for the kids included getting up close with a variety of farm animals, a trike track, sports zone, and multiple playgrounds, pig races, a musical hayride ... there truly is something for all ages. The atmosphere is lively, especially with those pig races and musical hayride tours. My niece and nephew were totally engaged from start to finish. There are plenty of food stands throughout the property with the classic farm favorites. Apple cider donuts (my personal fav), popcorn, ice cream, and coffee stands for the grown-ups. Speaking of adults, a huge bonus is the vineyard right on the property. I treated myself to a glass of rosé to enjoy while the kids played, which was a nice addition. It does get busy, but the whole setup is well organized that it does not feel too crowded. Barnyard Adventure is one of those rare places that charms both kids and adults, making it a perfect fall or weekend family destination. I can't wait to come back next year for more memories (and donuts) with my niece and nephew!!

With access to leave and come back, which we loved, we enjoyed hayrides WITH a singalong! Animals, a lot of games, bounce pad and more. Everything was super clean and exactly what you think a farm should be hahahh. The workers were all sweet and kind. We did enjoy a cup of there chocolate chip cookie. Very good. You can bring in picnic food if you wish, but they had hot dogs and basics to purchase as well as a small farm stand in the front. I would highly recommend for families with children of various ages but more geared toward 10 and under. Cant wait to go back again this summer.

Twin Stills Moonshine - Raspberry cocolada. So good!

Twin Stills is a family owned business with a cool history of how they got started. Their whiskey comes from an old Portuguese tradition of single small batch distillation. They have moonshine tastings, three for $9.00. Pick your flavors and enjoy! My favorite was the Apple Pie Moonshine, which we bought a couple bottles of. They also have a few whiskey's, vodka and brandy as well and if you want a full drink they have cocktails and beers too. Really a very cool spot on Long Island to have some quality moonshine. When we were there, a food truck was also parked out front, so on a nice day you can pull up a chair outside, grab some food and enjoy the best moonshine in the area, and some great customer service. No friends, this isn't a review about something I whipped up in a bathtub during the prohibition…read more Nay, instead we're talking about some legitimate moonshine (and mixed drinks) from Twin Stills located out east on the North Fork of Long Island. My wife and her family finally swung by this spot back at the beginning of the summer as we tasted up some delightful libations. Now truth be told, I had already sampled several moonshine flavors made at Twin Stills as you can often find them selling bottles of their o'OldTymer alcohol at farmers markets and places like Total Wine. And I've passed the actual storefront a ton of times while heading out east, but never once did I stop in (until now). I mean, it's honestly nothing special, the interior of Twin Stills. You have a tiny bar of a few seats and walls with their various moonshine flavors available. Outside you'll find a handful of tables so on warmer/nicer days you'll be able to sit and sip your moonshine which is what we did. Well it was almost only me who partook in their offerings as I was most intrigued by the fruity flavor options they had. Apple Pie is the best, but one I've tried prior, so I decided to do a "flight" of moonshine with other flavor options. I went with raspberry, mixed berry, and coffee as my three choices. Oh and I put flight in quotations because with moonshine, your samples are itty bitty. The price isn't horrible though at $9 for the trio. I'd also say that none of the flavors were horrible either, though coffee might've been a bit too strong and mixed berry didn't taste like anything specific. Raspberry, on the other hand, was outstanding. I wanted a bottle of that, but there was one other flavor I wanted to sample before my purchase (well I would've liked to have tried chocolate but it was sold out). The lady behind the bar gave me a free fourth taste of blueberry moonshine which was almost as delicious as the raspberry. In the end, it couldn't beat out that raspy winner, and so a bottle of raspberry was bought. Backtracking for a sec, I did mention I was almost the only one to drink at Twin Stills, but I can't forget to mention my wife's cocolada drink. This was a mixture of muddled fruit, a moonshine flavor, and coconut cream. She ordered a raspberry option (because it was the best flavor, of course) and boy was it a tasty mixture. I'd definitely want to try to copy that simple recipe at home and make my own. Yum. Overall, Twin Stills Moonshine is a lovely little Long Island spot with quality alcoholic concoctions. Perhaps a few moonshine flavors miss the mark, but most are delightful and worthy of drinking on their own, over some ice, or just grab that coconut cream and start the party. Regardless of how you drink it, just know it wasn't made in a bathtub...I think.

Planning the tour was easeful with a couple of calls and email exchanges between Alexa, Nicole, and myself. Although we booked the winery, brewery, and lunch option...time got away from us and we seemed to skip the brewery but it was still a full day. The lunch was absolutely incredible! The farm stand was outstanding..we purchased some fruit, honey, and baked goods..the pie!!! The pie was life changing. Thom and Nicole were the perfect guides and the ride was blissful! Although there are no proper bike lanes I never felt unsafe and the drivers were very courteous. Rose Hill Winery was intimate and absolutely breathtaking with fabulous wines. Our day started out rainy which they were prepared with ponchos (thankfully not needed) stops at stunning wineries where we had fun with trivia questions as well as fun facts... stopped at a picturesque beach to have an oil tasting paired with a delicious picnic lunch set up that was perfect...continued to an orchard to pick peaches that were amazing! Stopped at a gourmet chocolate shoppe where we purchased instagrammable chocolate. Steve made sure our purchases were kept cool in his car so we didn't have to lug anything around and our chocolates didn't melt because he stored them in a cooler. They thought of everything!!! The premier North Fork tour was perfect for us and we highly recommend it. Ended our tour with ice cold towels that my daughter expressed was a great touch to a long ride. We would like to thank Nicole, Mike and Steve for a memorable day and the pictures that were taken will be printed and put in our album to be remembered forever. Thank you for the memories!
