The quote was free and surprisingly there was no trip charge either. Being a Saturday, they could not obtain a replacement for my faulty shower handle cartridge, but they did temorarily disable the cartridge until it could be replaced the following Monday. I had called another company out the previous day, but they left with the faulty cartridge still leaking. So I appreciated that Roto-Rooter made the extra effort to disable the cartridge. They finished the job the following Monday on time and efficiently. I will not hesitate to use them again for my plumbing needs.

The plumber was at my home as scheduled to check out my system, but before he would do anything, he told me that I have to pay $460 (plus tax) for labor, and if the disposal system needs to be replaced, it will cost me at least $750 (plus tax). He said he could only go as low as $300 (plus tax), after checking with his supervisor. I thought it's overpriced so since my issue wasn't urgent , I declined to have it fixed. I found a local plumber, who didn't charge for an inspection and charged me a total of $450 including labor to replace the broken system with a new garbage disposal system. Customers should beware of Plumbing services who claim to have free estimates on site but would charge desperate customers exorbitantly, especially if the plumbing issue needs to be fixed urgently!

We called Moyers for a water leak into the basement. We had done the ceiling demo before they…read morearrived to save time. After arrival, huge holes were put into our baseboard by the team for drying and the floor was ripped up. We had asked to spare the other side of the room floor and some of the boards were broken making it hard to match and blend. I think little care was taken and more demo done than needed. There was no paperwork discussing prices before work was completed. After the 3 days of commercial fans to dry I requested they get their equipment and give an invoice (800$!). We had to followup multiple times for the invoice and for them to floor match. I was not willing to go forward since things were broken regardless of request and I was worried the bills for repair would be substantial.
