Our first time with anything like this, relatively small, thank God, we had a LOT to learn. If it's your first time, too, be prepared for it to be a LONG process, even if it was a relatively small disaster. Our adjuster warned us that it could take 4-6 months. For us, work was all but complete in a little over 2 months - last job finished 6 mos after fire following 3 month pause for insurance supplement to come through and holidays. Took 2 weeks for for adjuster and insurance to coordinate inspection, insurance company to release settlement funds, and crew to get in to start cleanup. Keep in mind, this was FAST - it usually takes longer. And last billing issue was not resolved until 7 months out. After the bumpy start, staff from FastPro and subcontractors were kind, helpful, and most importantly got the job done well and in a reasonable time frame and they did a very thorough job!
