I have been to the chef/owner's other restaurant in Mt. Pleasant before and really liked it, so I was excited to try this spot in my hometown. We started with the brussels sprouts appetizer, which was very tasty. They had some sauces that were interesting, as well as some thinly sliced apple (perhaps an homage to the orchard where the restaurant is located). It was a little sweet but good. For my entree, I had the walleye: crispy rice cereal and parmesan coated, cedar roasted and served with maple carrots, duck fat poached and fried potatoes, tarragon aioli, and almond romesco. The dish was good but just a bit sweeter than I prefer with the sweet carrots. I tried some of Nate's smoked pork mac, which was tasty but the tomato jam was way too sweet for me. Can you tell I like savory things? My parents both got the spring pasta which looked delicious. Our server was very sweet and patient and overall I did like the experience. I ordered the lobster roll and the truffle fries. I forgot to ask for the lobster roll Connecticut style (which I usually prefer) when I ordered so the sandwich had cold lobster with a mayo type sauce on it as well as tomatoes, pickles, and lettuce and it was delicious! It tasted fresh and came with a good portion size. The truffle fries were also good and not too salty. The food was served pretty quickly as well. I will definitely be coming back here to try more of the menu!

The shreds of lobster were very small; I may have preferred if it was a lobster truffle/cheese type of flavor instead, but that's just me. I was really glad I got to try this food truck though, and it still hit the spot for a lobster roll. The service was efficient and quick, too!
