He explained the process of providing a sturdy and waterproof foundation. The original tile (Carrara Marble) was manufactured as 11x8.6 size was no longer made so he needed to cut down each tile from 12x12. He was able to perform all the work in one day and my wife and I could not be happier with the results. The tile and grout come out perfect. I recommend Chris for any tile (big or small) work. He was able to do a tricky job that everyone else I spoke with tried to talk me into doing something that would reduce the value of my home. He was able to fix it the way I wanted. Other guys gave me quotes then didn't follow through. Vince was able to start within about 2 weeks at the time (winter 2025), which was great for my schedule. Awkward things were: I believed the contingency should be returned if not needed. He expected it to be part of the payment regardless if needed-- make sure you agree on this. Also, he wasn't able to give receipts for things he purchased for the project, so make sure you discuss this ahead of time, too, if you need the info. A couple of things weren't done right by his guy and Vince came Right Away & fixed it. I didn't find out until later that there was an additional issue: the toilet was leaking from the edges because Vince's helper guy hadn't put on the edging to it.... I asked Vince, and he did Not come back to fix that. Again, overall, good quality and he's quick.... A couple of awkward things though. He was more expensive than the others. But, again, he was the only one who fixed an issue the way it worked out the best for the value of the home & not making the Look of it be off from the rest of the home as the others suggested.

The second day he came back to do the grout (took less than an hour). When Jose came to our home for a free estimate, I was impressed by his professionalism and attention to detail in asking what we wanted and in taking the wall measurements. He has a very likeable, calm demeanor. He also recommended a different tile company to us other than Home Depot. We were convinced and hired him! He wrote a proposal for the job details and final price. Jose arrived on time and got right to work. He has a crew, but he completed this work by himself. The floors and counters were protected with cloth. He also covered the patio area with a large cloth so the patio surface was protected. He installed the tile and also requested specific grout and schluter to perfectly match the tile. He perfectly cut and fitted the tile in the pattern that we requested. Jose worked so fast that he was able to complete this small job (48 square feet) that day. He was also able to apply the grout. He thoroughly cleaned the work area.
