I am leaving a review regarding new staff working here, with one particularly aggressive, unprofessional person in the office who has been there about a month (who likely started summer of 2025). She has raised her voice to the point of yelling at folks who have calmly, gently, called in to voice their concerns.
According to the new property manager (the one professional, lovely person on staff), she already has a history of unnecessarily "escalating" things to this degree. She openly challenges people who ask simple questions as if it was someone falsely accusing her family member of stealing. It's honestly unsettling. Even when she herself admits to not know the answer to the question...if she doesn't know, she could simply tell the person "I'll make sure to make a note of it and send it along up the chain for you" instead of responding with such aggression. Once, she gave us PATENTLY false information about a rule that was in the lease.
Instead of reacting to any rational suggestions to issues by (literally) screaming "DON'T TELL ME HOW TO DO MY JOB!"she could make the process much less stressful for all parties involved by simply passing it on to someone who CAN help. Given the number of complaints about this particular new employee...more than a few of us would be really disappointed if she stays on past her probation period. Either way, it's disturbing to witness and hear stories of her dealings with others. The property manager seems to be giving her grace, but a lot of us do not feel comfortable with her there, having experienced her unprovoked wrath firsthand.
UPDATE (08/15/2025):
The Property Manager has followed up regarding the issue (not regarding the staff which this review focuses on, but the property/resident issue which had us interacting with the staff in the first place). As previously mentioned, this new Property Manager has been quite helpful, especially in comparison to staff from previous years. For full transparency: I've been asked to update my review here, and will also update my review on other platforms. I do not erase reviews, but instead update them with new information, because I believe transparency is vital. I am glad to know management is asking for an update, as well, as I agree that reviews should indeed be updated regularly to reflect on the staff who are making a sincere effort to improve communication and professionalism.
As such, I will continue to update my review as our interactions with staff improve and issues hopefully get resolved. I'm updating East Point from 2 stars to 3, and hopefully in due time, it will rise to 4 or 5. It started with a low rating, as we had past issues over the years with staff and residents pre-Summer 2025 that I haven't yet delved into. This recent level of unprofessionalism was just the tipping point. Here's hoping it's only up from here, and that these gestures from new management are a sign things will continue to improve. read more
