Only reason I know this is because my daughter worked in house keeping after high school and she said that if pillows don't look like they were used. They don't change the sheet. I went to the front to ask for new one and I gave the amount of how many we needed. And she only gave two. So the other pillows we didn't even use. They have coffee that grinds the right amount of beans and pours into your cup after brewing. Pretty cool. The breakfast buffet was ok. Only the little one went to grab some morning food. All in all we had a nice stay. The room walls are thick so you don't hear anyone's tv or loud talking. Which I was really happy about. Definitely will be staying here again next year for the last living dead weekend. At monroeville mall.

We stayed in February for my husband's birthday reunion with family. Each night we counted AT LEAST 23 work trucks that took up most parking spots. The two handicapped spots were taken by two Range Rover which one never had the appropriate handicap placard. With my husband's two knee replacements and I with 3 back surgeries, we never could find a spot to park our brand new vehicle. The inside of the hotel stunk from weed it made your eyes water. In the mornings, there were small empty wine bottles lying around. The rooms were not as clean as they used to be. Each time we asked about the parking the staff pushed us off and none of them ever had answers for anything. Note when we got the room I asked if our room was one that was remodeled and we were told yes. Check photos The breakfast is good.

Absolutely not a smoke free hotel, we feel robbed after paying to sleep here. We checked in just to…read morefind our room smelled so strongly of cigarettes and excessive air freshener it made us sick. There were burns in the blanket, a hole in the bathroom wall, and the AC was so disruptively loud we had to request a room change. The staff had us wait while they were on a personal call before they switched our room which was a bit rude. It was midnight by this point and we just wanted to get some sleep, but credit to them for giving us a new room with no hassle... But this room was hardly an improvement. The cigarette stench is buried deep into this entire place. I check everywhere we stay for bed bugs, and found a used bandaid under the corner of the mattress, and it hasn't been cleaned under the bed in probably months. The sink and toilet were clogged up with no plunger in the room, there were dirty socks in the bathroom, old coffee grounds were left in the coffee maker! MOLD was growing on the bedskirt! Mold!! And that's still not even everything. I don't expect a lot from cheap motels, but I expect the bare minimum if we're paying to stay there. We overpaid to stay in unclean, moldy, trashed rooms. I wish I could say anything positive about our stay, but I can't. If you don't mind spending money to enjoy the smell of decades of deeply engrained smoke in a dirty room, then this is the place for you. I'll sleep in the car before booking with another Red Roof again.

No free continental breakfast here.... But, they have a bar/restaurant in the lobby area for dinner. The guest laundry is only 1 washer & 1 dryer, so the wait can be ling if others are using. The area is nice, close to the new hospital, Miracle Mile shopping area & Penn Center. Over all I had a great stay stay and recommend.

They seem to be doing renovations and it is an ok place overall. The checkin went smooth. We were told about the bar, pool and exercise room. The rooms were clean and good overall. They had a TV, Microwave, coffee maker and fridge. There was no safe but that was the overall downside for the room. I stayed for two nights and I never got my room cleaned the first night. I sat a pizza box outside my door so maybe this was a sign not to clean my room or give me towels, make my bed or even leave fresh cups for coffee. Maybe it was housekeepings off day. Not sure but I thought this was odd. I asked for towels and coffee cups in the afternoon and they never showed up. I also saw toilet paper and towels hanging from outside doors which makes me think it was not only me. I used the exercise room and the equipments built in TVs did not work. Overall it was good for the price and things will probably be better in time. The staff were slightly attentive. I was also told that the place was going to become a Best Western. Overall the place was also quiet and close to the turnpike and freeways. The beds were also comfortable. I would give it a second try in the future once things have settled.

If you're in town for something at the Monroeville convention center, it's maybe a 15 minute drive. The real draw of the place is the price. With fees, I booked it for just a bit more than $86/night. And for that price point, you can deal with a bit of a drive. Like most 1-2 star hotels, it needs some TLC. Replace stained curtain, carpet, or sheets, slap a new coat of paint here or there, tighten this fixture or that. If that is a dealbreaker, don't book. But at least when I stayed here, there was sufficient parking, the A/C worked without sounding like it was birthing gremlins, the place felt safe, and the room smelled like air freshener rather than pot, industrial cleaner, or axe body spray, all of which I've experienced at 1 star hotels. It is also next door to a Dunkin' Donuts, so if you a bit of caffeine to wake you up, it's just a few stumbles away.

Peeling wall paper, torn up carpet, dirt and grime in many corners. My daughter's socks were black after walking on the carpet without shoes the first night. There was a weird hole over one of our showers too. We had 5 people and enough towels for 4. At breakfast the morning after we checked in my husband asked for additional towels at the front desk. They stated they didn't have access to any and we weren't due for a room refresh until two days after we checked in but housekeeping would get to us when they could since they didn't start until 9. Not very helpful but housekeeping was luckily quick and we were able to get clean and out of the hotel with only a minor delay. Breakfast was mostly tasteless. Highlights for my family were the chocolate milk, waffle station and cereal/yogurt selection. I would skip the eggs, breakfast meats etc. they were bland and the texture was off. It was evident the hotel is cutting corners to save money and that is sad. I expect more out of a Marriott property. We almost exclusively book Marriott properties when traveling. This one was quite the disappointment.
