    ADA Room 401
    Deanna P.

We've stayed in dozens of Hampton and Hilton locations. While we would stay here again if we needed to, this location rates toward the bottom. We stayed in an ADA accessible room because it was the only room available after the hotel overbooked. The room was clean, though the engineering of the ADA compliant bathroom left a lot to be desired because the water ran out of the shower, past the floor drain, and out the bathroom door. We had to put down a rolled up towel as a water catcher in the floor. The elevators only partially worked. 1 out of 2 of the elevators had a broken #1 button, meaning you could only get to the first floor via elevator on one of the two elevators, causing a constant "traffic jam" at the elevators. The morning breakfast rated less than average. It was meagerly stocked, had 1 protein options, and 0 fruit options. Possibly the toughest part of this location is parking. There is very little parking here. With that said... the room was clean and bed comfortable. The location is convenient in Monroeville. We would stay here again if we had to, but would seek other options first.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Pittsburgh/Monroeville while on tour and had a great experience. Check-in was quick and easy, the front desk staff was super helpful, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious--just what we needed to fuel up for the road. Highly recommend!

We love this hotel! It was a mother/daughter business/pleasure trip. Location is perfect to local eateries. We had a check-in glitch which the staff and management were patient and kind and worked it out beyond our satisfaction. The hotel greets you with friendliness and professionalism and even had the lobby decorated for the upcoming Valentine's Day which was a fun backdrop for pics. Love the high ceilings in the lobby are, the gathering area and of course the wonderful hot breakfast which thankfully opened at 6 am. Fresh fruit and hot hot entree breakfast choices. Oh, coffee avail in the lobby 24/7. And a marketplace with varied snacks, essentials and a nice selection of adult refreshments too. The room was huge and sparkling clean with every amenity. Housekeeping was excellent if you needed anything. A shoutout to Nate, Tyler, Cheyenne, Jennifer and Amanda for making our stay amazing and a home away from home. We stayed an extra night due to inclement weather thanks to them! Cannot wait to return! Highly recommend. You will thank us. A little treasure outside Cleveland.

This place has sadly gone downhill. We stayed here a few years ago and it was well taken care of. I feel like it may have different management or something? Pros: -breakfast was okay (buffet, decent options: mini omelettes, waffle maker, juices, bagels, toast, sausage, cereal & yogurt) -bathrooms were in good condition -our room keys were via app this time (made it easier) Cons: -pool was a hot mess (dirty and old) -bedroom had dirt/dust in the corners -one bed had a stain on the skirt -floors (in general) just seemed really dirty -front desk lady seemed scatterbrained and not fully focused on people checking in -parking lot is super crammed (not a big deal, but definitely hard to park/pull out of) -walls are paper thin (you can hear EVERYTHING) Overall, just not a great experience. We probably will not come back to this location (just too dirty).

Stayed here on a weekend to town for a convention. Octavia checked us in and was possibly one of the best front desk attendants I've experienced (Octavia) who was very helpful and giving us the lay of the land explaining how outback delivers and max and ermas gives a discount. They were in the middle of a remodel on the outside and I truly hope that is the same for the inside as our bathroom had peeling wallpaper near the vent and really showed a lot of wear. The breakfast area was probably the most packed I have ever witnessed as a Hilton Honors member - with one morning it being egg coins and sausage coins, the other powder eggs and the usual waffle. Had Vog not made an in-road with a family and done some networking we probably would have ate in the room. Nothing the hotel could help - it gets busy. Free is free. Would return to the area. And to this stop but again hopefully they update the rooms

dirty room, elevator, hallways. Garbage No remote for tv. is kymari k is fabulous employee at the front desk trying to make things right.

We stayed in February for my husband's birthday reunion with family. Each night we counted AT LEAST 23 work trucks that took up most parking spots. The two handicapped spots were taken by two Range Rover which one never had the appropriate handicap placard. With my husband's two knee replacements and I with 3 back surgeries, we never could find a spot to park our brand new vehicle. The inside of the hotel stunk from weed it made your eyes water. In the mornings, there were small empty wine bottles lying around. The rooms were not as clean as they used to be. Each time we asked about the parking the staff pushed us off and none of them ever had answers for anything. Note when we got the room I asked if our room was one that was remodeled and we were told yes. Check photos The breakfast is good.

Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, decent wifi... No free continental breakfast here.... But, they have a bar/restaurant in the lobby area for dinner. The guest laundry is only 1 washer & 1 dryer, so the wait can be ling if others are using. The area is nice, close to the new hospital, Miracle Mile shopping area & Penn Center. They seem to be doing renovations and it is an ok place overall. The checkin went smooth. We were told about the bar, pool and exercise room. The rooms were clean and good overall. They had a TV, Microwave, coffee maker and fridge. There was no safe but that was the overall downside for the room. I stayed for two nights and I never got my room cleaned the first night. I sat a pizza box outside my door so maybe this was a sign not to clean my room or give me towels, make my bed or even leave fresh cups for coffee. Maybe it was housekeepings off day. Not sure but I thought this was odd. I asked for towels and coffee cups in the afternoon and they never showed up. I also saw toilet paper and towels hanging from outside doors which makes me think it was not only me. I used the exercise room and the equipments built in TVs did not work. Overall it was good for the price and things will probably be better in time. The staff were slightly attentive. I was also told that the place was going to become a Best Western. Overall the place was also quiet and close to the turnpike and freeways. The beds were also comfortable. I would give it a second try in the future once things have settled.

If you're in town for something at the Monroeville convention center, it's maybe a 15 minute drive. The real draw of the place is the price. With fees, I booked it for just a bit more than $86/night. And for that price point, you can deal with a bit of a drive. Like most 1-2 star hotels, it needs some TLC. Replace stained curtain, carpet, or sheets, slap a new coat of paint here or there, tighten this fixture or that. If that is a dealbreaker, don't book. But at least when I stayed here, there was sufficient parking, the A/C worked without sounding like it was birthing gremlins, the place felt safe, and the room smelled like air freshener rather than pot, industrial cleaner, or axe body spray, all of which I've experienced at 1 star hotels. It is also next door to a Dunkin' Donuts, so if you a bit of caffeine to wake you up, it's just a few stumbles away.

Peeling wall paper, torn up carpet, dirt and grime in many corners. My daughter's socks were black after walking on the carpet without shoes the first night. There was a weird hole over one of our showers too. We had 5 people and enough towels for 4. At breakfast the morning after we checked in my husband asked for additional towels at the front desk. They stated they didn't have access to any and we weren't due for a room refresh until two days after we checked in but housekeeping would get to us when they could since they didn't start until 9. Not very helpful but housekeeping was luckily quick and we were able to get clean and out of the hotel with only a minor delay. Breakfast was mostly tasteless. Highlights for my family were the chocolate milk, waffle station and cereal/yogurt selection. I would skip the eggs, breakfast meats etc. they were bland and the texture was off. It was evident the hotel is cutting corners to save money and that is sad. I expect more out of a Marriott property. We almost exclusively book Marriott properties when traveling. This one was quite the disappointment.
