They also have many other items needed to enjoy when out on the east end. My good friend purchased a wetsuit in September to extend his swimming days when the weather turned colder. So he could swim in the bay or pool though chilly out! Not a surfer... a lawyer who loves to keep the swimming season going longer. Hahha. Matt, Eric and Chris were super helpful associates. Checking sizes, products via phone, checking stock in their affiliate stores and holding an item while driving over. It's especially important to get a wetsuit right size wise or water seeps in and its too cold for that. He loved the suit. Once he came over thinking the rear zipper broken... he couldn't reach the zipper tag or get out of it! I checked and it was inside out!! hahaha... Never put a wetsuit on inside out especially if you live alone.. could be trapped in your wetsuit. hahahaha three weeks later there was also a small tear ... and the manufacturer offered to repair via mail.. but so did Flying Point saving time and trips to the post office. Flying Point was great at getting the repair in and done efficiently. When I went to pick it up, just had to give my friends name and they went to the holding room and brought it right out. Its a good example of why a good local shop is really needed... when sizes vary significantly on items and brands. Shopping is so much more than price and mail service... Online retailers could never offer anything close to this great customer service and small town enjoyable experience.

As we were looking around have been in the store for about 15 minutes he was completely ignored. A gentlemen walks in and gets an immediate "hey how are ya" - fine I let it go. He tries on some clothes and at no point did he ever get a "hey can I help you find anything" or similar... instead we both were given dirty looks by a young gentleman on the floor and older woman at the register. We get to the register and carried out our purchase (No greeting until this point).. He's never felt immediate regret from purchasing clothing from a store until this experience. Giving the benefit of the doubt that hopefully this wasn't racial but please treat paying customers better..

Catwalk Couture and Cathy are LIFE. She has a way of making…read moreyou feel like you're right at home. During one of the most difficult times in my life--navigating my breast cancer journey--Cathy and her store became a source of peace and healing. She didn't just welcome me as a customer; she welcomed me as a sister. Our conversations helped me open up--not just as a woman, but as a speaker and someone longing to build deeper community. Cathy leads with love, compassion, and a spirit of sisterhood that transcends race, gender, and background. I've witnessed it, and I've experienced it firsthand. Since discovering Catwalk Couture, I've stopped shopping at major department stores. Instead, I make the conscious choice to support businesses and people like Cathy--authentic, gifted, and deeply rooted in purpose. I love her not only as a businesswoman, but as a person whose God-given talent continues to bless so many. I pray for continued success and leaving a lasting legacy. I wish she was back in South Florida, but when we speak it's as if she right back where we met.

I wandered in here with a friend who has a very large collection of Chanel clothing, shoes, and…read morebags that she no longer wears. She's thinking of consigning them somewhere. I don't know what the split is here. Probably 40-60% to the store, but we'll find out. There's a great selection of shoes, although a couple of pairs of boots were truly hideous. One wonders not just why they were designed, but why anyone bought them. They are, weirdly, arranged loosely by color instead of by size. This doesn't really make sense to us. The majority of the shoes are in small sizes, alas. There are nice clear stickers noting the sizes, so that's helpful. But you have to look at alllll the shoes to try and find your size. This is slightly annoying. I only found three pairs in my size. There may have been more, but I got tired of looking. The selection of purses is okay. Lots of classics, a few (IMO) passé pieces. The bags seemed to run about $3000 and up for Chanel. Prices seemed high ($500+) for St. John, but good to keep in mind if i decide to consign any of mine. Chanel jackets were around $3000 and up. There's also a fair amount of costume jewelry and scarves. You could easily find a complete outfit here, depending on your size. There was a gorgeous pair of Christian Louboutins in my size, for $535, but I have enough high heels, sadly. These were a deep green suede. I don't know if photographs were allowed, so i didn't take any.

Their book collection is generally exceedingly boring. Old, obscure writers, poor condition. Hopefully my books will sell. This is a very well-kept and appointed store. They have some beautiful things. I am partial to fine china and crystal, but fortunately do not have room for any more. Prices here can be high, but the overall quality of the items is great. I struggled mightily against buying some particularly pretty china, did not give in, and wandered through the store. There was a tea cart that would have pounced on, but alas I already have one. Sad, because I like theirs better. At $175, it's not cheap. The people who volunteer here are very nice I was saddened to see a sign saying that they had to close the changing rooms because of tag switching and theft. That's really terrible. What awful people, to steal from a charity. Anyway, it was fun to wander around. Very pleasant store. Not necessarily a place to find bargains, exactly, but you might find something lovely and help a good cause.

Found this place on Yelp as I live in Manhattan and wanted to shop around for second hand items to compliment my current table scape. Ended up finding such treasures! Phenomenal employees, organization of store and if you're looking for dishware/crystal pieces, they have a lot!
