Chose East Coast Ocala because of their reviews, competitive price and selection. The installers (Jeff) did a first rate job. Work was divided into two parts, tile removal to accommodate new kitchen cabinets (one day) then carpet/old flooring/baseboard removal, leveling, install Tarkett ProGen in the entire house and all the finish work that really makes things look great. Thomas did an excellent job with the estimate and detailed scope of work (SOW). Two days after install it rained and our lanai leaked. Water all over the new floor. Not one bit of damage! Just a $1500.00 repair bill for the roof, ouch. We are very happy with our choice of East Coast and the floor product. Note: I do not believe that ProGen is a DIY type product due to it's rigid warranty requirements. read more

East Coast Flooring Belleview was great from the start. We went in to the store on a Saturday and the lady that was there was so nice to show us around and sign out some samples for us and made us an appointment for an estimate. The gentleman that came out to measure told us a variety of information and was really helpful. Once we got the quote, we took a couple of days to get back to them and put deposit down. They told us it would probably be 4-5 weeks before the product would arrive and then maybe a week later to get on the schedule for installation. We ordered on 2/15 and not even a week later, we got the call that our flooring was in and that they had a cancellation for the next week. We were not expecting this so soon but we jumped at the chance and agreed to start. The installation crew was very attentive and respectful. They worked hard and informed us of each step. The moved our furniture with care and put up with us moving the dogs around from outside to the workshop to keep them less irritable. The cleaned up each evening when they were done working and provided one of us with an update of what they were doing. From the beginning, when we called to schedule an appointment, Suzanne was the first person we spoke with. She was very knowledgeable and professional. Until today I was just unhappy with customer services issues this includes rude and unacceptable behavior on the part of the owners. I very much did like the product they installed and installers were very professional ( at least we thought so). Today we pulled our stove out to clean behind it since our install of flooring. We got the surprise of a lifetime to find all our trim Formica was gone on one side to fit stove back in. No one maned up what a disappointment, we could have worked around an honest problem but to not tell us yikes. Would not or have not ever recommended East coast flooring to anyone. Oh by the way our Formica is less than five years so it was not a wear and tear problem. read more

Went to East Coast Flooring on the recommendation of some friends of ours here in The Villages. We were looking to replace the carpeting in our living room, dining room and hallway, as well as the linoleum in the kitchen. Carpeting had stretched and we didn't want to get it stretched. The selection of flooring is fantastic and the salesman was very knowledgeable. We were allowed to take samples home to see how they looked with our cabinets, etc. and make our decision as to which one worked for us. Prices were very reasonable. Tony and his crew did an excellent job of prep, installation and final cleanup of the flooring.
