I'm a big fan of East Bower Cider. What an awesome addition to the east w d market area. The only thing that is a little annoying is that you do you have to pay for parking and then get validated within the biz. So if you see the signs don't worry, you do have to deal with it, but can get it validated inside. I've been in a few times and enjoyed myself each time. I've sat both outside and inside, I love the fire pits outside but they are usually taken. The outside area is definitely kid and pet friendly. Inside it's nice, not too big, has a nice vibe to it. I've liked pretty much every cider I've had and I also enjoyed that they let you taste test them before you commit to one. If it's your first time going in the tasting flight is probably the way to go. My top picks recently have been their cranberry orange cider and their pumpkin chai cider. The bartender let me know that they steep the cider with the tea leaves and spices, you can definitely taste it. They also do a few cider based cocktails, if you're more interested in something with some liquor in it, they have options there. Overall just a really great spot to stop in and grab a drink or hang out for a while with friends

Came here on a rainy day and a great pick me up cidery. They had plenty of ciders on tap as well as other drinks if interested. I went with one of the ciders the barista recommended. It was both sweet and tart with an overall great flavor. Definitely want to go back and try the other ciders they have on tap. Atmosphere was pretty nice inside. It was quite spacious with plenty of seating. There is also outside seating with umbrellas when it's not raining. Parking was pretty easy and plentiful as well. I imagine it will get more difficult as this place seems to be growing in popularity. Overall, I enjoyed this cidery and will be back to try the other drinks. Not sure if they have food but something to potentially add/explore.

Brand new, East Bower Cider Co. is Raleigh's first hard cidery! Located in Midtown East, East Bower sits in the East End Market which is slowly being built out. Large patio, mod interior, they are currently serving up some guest ciders as they get their production ramped up. They are doing a lot of things right on Day 1 and I anticipate East Bower being a fun meeting spot along with Bowstring down the street, cheers!

First time visiting this place , which I've been trying to get to and it didn't disappoint. The place is tucked away off a side road but wasn't hard to find. I sat outside which had plenty of seating and tables. There was indoor seating as well. I tried a few of the cider beers can't recall each name but they were food. The place sales snacks no food there though. Overall cool spot I'll visit again.

This place is very cool! Although I still prefer the ciders from Bull City, I like the ambience and service here better than most of the Bull City locations. The ciders were varied and flavorful, but not as good as their in state competition. That said, the service was outstanding, helpful, and super nice. Although I can't really describe it, I greatly like the aesthetics of this place. The music that was playing wasn't my favorite, but they had a DJ that played late afternoon/early evening, and he was really good. I highly recommend this place if you are in Raleigh. My wife and I are already very excited about returning here soon.

East Bower Cider is Raleigh's first cidery. I started off with a flight, you get 4 5oz pours. I selected the Queen Bee, Linger, Pom Pomme and Golden Tart. My favorites were the Queen Bee and Linger. Next it was a cider pour then a beer. Outside of cider, they have wine, beer and non-alcoholic options available. I can't wait to return once it gets warmer so I can sit outside.

Love this place! The In Bloom cider was amazing (cider with elderberry and cinnamon) it was unique and not too sweet. The atmosphere is great - lots of heat lamps outside for the cooler fall nights. Great place to talk with friends and relax!

This cider place has a variety of options: cider, wine and beer. Their ciders are refreshing and not super sweet. My favorite is their pomegranate and rose cider. This place has a nice atmosphere and plenty of space inside and outside. They are also dog friendly. The servers had great customer service. You do have to post for parking here, but they will validate it inside.

Service was friendly and efficient; cider was great; atmosphere/location/building space was so fun and functional. Overall, loved East Bower Cider Co and will definitely be back! (For a group of four we got two flights of cider. Flavors we got were House Dry, Queen Bee, Pomegranate Rose, Jam On, Paloma Spritz, Giant Step, Pineapple Rosemary, and Ginger Agave. All were fantastic!!)

Super cute outdoor area! They have heaters for chillier nights. I got the non alcoholic hot cider and it was delicious. They have a lot of ciders, but not a ton of different fruit options (blackberry cider, blueberry cider, orange cider, etc). Worth a visit!

Loveeee this place! Visited for the first time & enjoyed everything about it. The staff was so nice, the outdoor seating is welcoming and they allow you to bring outside food! I had the noble village tart & a peach cider. The peach was one of the best ciders I have had. I'm making this a regular spot from here on out!

East Bower has a nice outside area and it was nice in the sun when we were there. They also have blankets to sit on the turf if there are no tables available. The inside seating is minimal. There is a line to order which was kind of hectic bc you had to grab all your drinks and move right away so the next person could order vs a bar setting where you could wait at the bar to order. The staff was slightly rushing us, but overall it was a good Saturday day spot

My partner and I are literally here almost every week. Obsessed? YES. This is Raleigh's first cidery spot - and I can say the BEST. I love that most, if not all, of their ciders are dry or semi dry. The flavors are very balanced and delicious. My favorites are the In Bloom and Linger, and if in season, their hot cider with vermouth!!! There is plenty indoor and outdoor seating and games as well! Definitely will be back for more!!

We sat outside because it was a beautiful day, especially for November. We first heard about the cider when we visited their booth at the state fair and had a sample of one of their ciders. We were told they were available in the Raleigh area at Whole Foods but when we went to Whole Foods there was only 1 bottle of 1 variety there. We decided we would just take the hour drive down to the actual cider house and then we'd get to try them all and have a huge assortment to choose from. This was not the case though and I have to say we were very disappointed. Very few of the varieties available on their website are available at the cider house. The bartender said some of them were seasonal but then why not update the website? They actually only had 10 varieties available on tap and unfortunately only 5 of those were ones we had picked out from the website. We are big bourbon fans and go around to a lot of the bourbon distilleries so I do understand that 10 varieties IS actually a lot, especially considering a small distillery would not have anywhere near that many varieties. I just wish our expectations hadn't exceeded the actual visit. The flights were really fun to taste, we got 2 flights so we each got to taste 8 of the varieties and we picked 4 out from those 10 that we liked. But then we also wanted to buy a bottle of each of the ones we liked for Thanksgiving and only 3 were available....

Upon reading into them I love them even more. Their values are on par with my families which I appreciate especially in this area. Kudos!

Such an incredible establishment!…read more North Carolina has a bit of my heart when it comes to establishments such as the Botanist and Barrel. Both a natural winery and natural cidery, this place has something for everyone. With an INCREDIBLY laid back experience in mind, I recommend you visit this site on a nice day, bring a picnic and enjoy a selection of thier best offerings in thier back yard. My wife and I recently came for their anniversary celebration, where they had wine sampling, live music, and a pizza oven. With such a great space, such great beverages, and fun music, there is nowhere I would have rather been. Now let's talk about their beverages. We had samples of their wines, and we also bought a flight to ensure we sampled the full spectrum. All of their wines are made using the natural method, which means that they have exactly one ingredient - grapes. Their wine brand goes by the name of DeFi, and these are all NC and VA-procured grapes, fermented and bottled on-site. I especially loved each of their Pet Nats along with the Piquette Rouge. These wines are all bone dry and bring in some wanted natural notes, which I love in natural wines. Oh, and their ciders! I had never heard of a Pet Nat cider, but now I am all in! All deliciously dry and complex with fun added fruit flavors. I am especially fond that they use the only North American tropical fruit - the Paw Paw in their ciders. The produce used in their ciders is harvested locally as well, and with the amazing combination of different apples used in their ciders, each is unique and delicious. They also have an amazing little market with local specialties, which is based on an honor payment system (something I have rarely seen). If you are anywhere in the Raleigh-Durham area, I highly recommend stopping by and enjoying the amazing offerings here. You will not regret stopping by.
