Great cider place and wonderful flights. But I would definitely recommend sticking with just the cider. I know the name of the place is "Ciderworks" and they crush that, so definitely only order that. The bartenders were very distant and not very friendly. They were on their phone most of the time. I ordered a gin and tonic and she didn't know what gins they had and unfortunately their ice had tasted very mildewy. There is a lot of seating inside and out along with board games which is great. So I readily acknowledge that I am not a cider connoisseur. Usually they are lacking on flavor and have too much sweetness for my liking. But I strolled in on a Sunday afternoon as I'm new in town and wanted to explore downtown Cary. I was the only one in the bar for about 2 hours as I chatted with the bar staff. I tried several samples of both cider and even beer. For the ciders, the Rhize Up was quite good; it's a ginger, herbaceous dryer cider. I was a big fan of the Dubliner as well, it was a more hoppy, yeasty option. For the beer, I liked the High Rock hazy IPA. There were floral notes to it, and while it was a tropical themed beer, it was not over the top fruity. Very smooth beverage. Parking may not be easy, depending on the time of day. But it's certainly worth a visit. read more

I can't say enough positive things about this place. Ambiance, quality of drinks, service, all amazing. We are new pup parents, and this place allows leashed dogs inside and out, and even has a large dog bed in a lounge area for your pup! They provide water bowls and water too! AND TREATS! What else do you need? The cocktails are fantastic. I ordered the choc PB espresso martini and the bludas boy Tito, both were great and the martini was one of the better espresso martinis I've had. My spouse had the RX which was refreshing and delicious too and the gettin figgy with it which was also delicious. We also sampled some ciders and they were all unique and tasty! We recently visited the Bull City Ciderworks during an afternoon filled with laughter and good conversation with family and kids. This local spot was definitely a great way to enjoy the afternoon with amazing beer and cider along with fun activities for the kids. Several of us in our party chose to get the cider flight which consisted of either 4 or 5 different cider samples and honestly couldn't figure out which was my favorite because they were all so amazing. I love love love bull city cider works. It's such a great location in the middle of a lot of places in Cary. You can go pick up food from other places and bring it in. They have indoor and outdoor seating, allow for dogs, and have dog bowls and treats. The cider is all very good and they also make great cocktails! The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because twice I've gone and the bartender is...not interested in being there? I'm not sure but she always seems very unhappy and throws off the vibe. So I've been wanting to come to this place for a long time and I went yesterday after I purchased a Groupon for a 4 count flight for two. The place is located in downtown Cary so parking is ehhh. The place was pretty empty when we arrived. Went to the bar let the bartender know we had a Groupon and she presented us with a flight with 4 different ciders. She also offered additional ones to sample. I enjoyed all the ciders and the helpfulness from the bartender. I ended up getting the cider of the week which was $5. They also have some outdoor seating but it was way too hot outside for it. Cute little place will have to try it out again soon. read more

Saw this place had opened and had to come check it out. I got a flight with various ciders and loved it. Most of the ciders we got were not tart which we wanted. They also had a couple beers on tap as well. They also try and bring out a food truck which is pretty nice. I love the location and how the cidery is set up. Pretty much a house turned into a brewery. Lots of seating inside and outside on the patio. I will say if you come in the evening, it gets hot inside with the sun shining directly into the main area. The prices were not too bad either. Got a flight of 5 ciders for $15.02. Overall, I liked the cidery and a good addition to downtown Cary. I will say parking is slightly tricky but they have parking behind the building. Make sure not to park in the lot next to the building as you may get towed. Would definitely recommend checking this place out though! read more

My first time at the Cary location. I love that they're offering a slightly different menu than the Durham location so that people will visit both. They have a lot of cider cocktails available which aren't available at the Durham location and I've actually never never seen them offered anywhere here in the triangle. I have pretty much tried all of their ciders so you can never go wrong. My favorite seasonal ciders are the Beetnick and Bludacris! So I went with the Off Beet cocktail which had the beetnick and gin which reminded me of Christmas. Can't wait to try more cocktails here! So they have a parking lot behind them (can get there by turning on Walker St or Templeton st and then turning onto Waldo st. There is another parking lot available that I think is on the intersection of Walker and Waldo. They did post on instagram that you will get towed if you try to park in the lot next to them where The Perfect Piece store is at. They also had a food truck in the parking lot behind them available. I think they also allow you to bring food. On Wednesdays, they have music bingo! read more

Bull City Ciderworks has opened their fourth location in Downtown Cary and I'm so happy to have a location that is closer. This is the best cider. Some of my favorites are cherry tart, compassion fruit and beetnik. There are a few things to note about this location, it can get busy so be prepared to wait but they have two lines and they have flights, beer and cider cocktails in addition to their cider pours. Lovely atmosphere and cool place to hang out. The place was full, with many tables enjoying the various board and card games they have available. The seating includes indoor tables, outdoor tables, and some lounge areas inside with couches. My table all bought flights to try several of the ciders. They were all unique and overall tasted great. They also had a special shark week themed mixed drink (pictured), which I thought was cool. This is a really nice spot to hang out before or after dinner. If you're looking for tons of gluten free options, this is the place to be! Their ciders never disappoint and I loved the mule I got. Lots of different cocktails (GF options) and beer(not GF friendly) to choose from! I think they also had wine as well if that's your thing. It was a packed Saturday night but we got our drinks super quickly and there was ample seating available. The atmosphere was really fun, too. Outside on a pleasantly cool evening, a couple of tables were available for families with kids and adults looking for quiet conversation.
