We went in search for one, and were on our way to the local U-Haul when we passed by Pro Trucks Plus. Taking a chance, we stopped in and were helped by Susan (and her boss on the phone). She made several trips to their inventory and chatted with her manager. She even came out to help measure the one we had to help make sure we were taken care of. After we were done, we came away with a hitch we could afford and the Aahmes Shriners went on that day to promote the Shriners Hospitals. Remember, Shriners parade so kids can heal! Thank you PTP!

The sales person Anthony greeted us and remembered that we had been to Nohr's before. He helped us see interiors, exteriors explain options etc. While we were looking we were greeted by the main technician Chuck who gave us insites into service for the various brands. Then we met service coordinator Russell and Robb the general manager. Unbelievably it was a relaxing experience. We are still on the fence because of family obligations. And when you try to call and talk to them about the situation, they will hang up on you and not answer your calls, And the very ignorant lady in the office will sit there and try to talk over you the entire time. We should've known from the get-go because of how the rental started already the AC and the generator were not working so they sent my mom to the shop with the RV and had her sit there for several hours while they fixed it. We left on our trip and packed our food for our camping voyage and lo and behold we get there and the refrigerator has completely stopped working and our food has gone bad. We received the rental right after someone else and they did not dump the sewage and it backed up into the trailer. We also had no luck with taking a shower because the shower started flooding out out of the bottom The trailer into the storage area, where it completely soaked all of our things that we had stored. Forget trying to use the awning wouldn't even go out a quarter of the way. And when you return it and tell them about all these issues, they will tell you nothing about discounts or how sorry they were or anything. They will just charge you for running the generator longer because on the form it says you need to run the generator to get the battery charged enough to run the refrigerator so that that's what we tried to do And apparently, we ran the generator too long because they charged us for extra hours . Never ever ever rent from this place zero Customer Service. They just want people to rent from them so they can get their trailers fixed through other people's insurance. Would never recommend them to anyone . There were no broken pieces inside of the RV when returned so that doesn't make any sense. The actual Renter is my mother and my stepfather who I accompanied on this trip. And yes, things got heated on the phone call when I kept trying to speak and was being spoken over. When trying to voice my concerns and feelings they would just talk louder . Still zero accountability for all of the problems that we had with the RV.

Hands down the best U-Haul I have been to…read more I installed my hitch @ Concord U-Haul but they messed up bad. My car had to be towed to deal to be fixed. Dealer informed me the hitch wiring was the cause of my problem and advised me to re-wire the hitch. Long story short, the trailer lights were not working properly. Didn't want to go back to Concord's U-Haul for obvious reasons, so made appt. at Dublin's U-Haul. Boy did they take this issue seriously and fixed my issue with professional attention. There was a day and night difference between the professionalism of staff in this location vs Concord. They made sure tow hitch was installed and bolted properly and fixed all the wiring issue and plus routed the wire outside the vehicle and explained to me what may had gone wrong. Amazing!!! Thank you to both the staff members who helped fix my car.

Bait & Switch! I actually didn't realize this kind of thing still happened…read more They had a travel trailer listed online as "on sale" for a good discount but the sale price was still within a normal asking price for that year and model so I called to confirm it was available before heading out. We drove 2.5 hours to take a look. A gentleman named Norville, listed as the Sales Manager on their website, showed us the trailer. Before checking anything out I confirmed the listed price online with him and he said "oh yeah, we don't like to babysit these units so we price them to move fast". We spent 45 minutes or so checking everything out on the trailer and decided to buy it. When we're signing the paperwork, I declined their $5000 "service plan" (over 20% of the cost of the trailer) and offered $1k less than their asking price on the trailer, which I thought was reasonable offer. We finished up the initial paperwork and he left to ask the Sales Manager (or is it the Sales Manager Manager?) about the offer, only to return with "bad news folks, we made a mistake on the price online actually, the price is $7000 MORE than what we listed it for online.. sorry about that." Now, mistakes happen, I get that, but they made zero effort to correct this mistake and instead just demanded the full amount. The unnamed Sales Manager Manager didn't even come out to apologize for this so-called mistake. Maybe they thought since we'd invested our whole day into it already and were set on buying it, they thought we'd still go for it. Maybe they pull this stunt on folks who decline insanely priced services plans. Who knows If this were truly a mistake they should have attempted to make it right. I would have even come up from their listed asking price a bit if they acted in good faith. A company of this size should have owned this mistake and made it right, even if it meant they didn't make a bunch of profit off of us. That was their mistake to correct, not ours. We will never shop another El Monte RV location again and will actively warn everyone we know to steer clear of this shady operation. I'll also be filing a complaint with the CA DMV and CA DOJ regarding false advertising practices.
