We bought new tires (365/85R20) for our expedition vehicle here and had them fitted. Tony and Daniel did a perfect job. The boss was also very nice and made everything possible. We can wholeheartedly recommend this workshop. Thank you very much, guys, you were great! read more

Had a patch for a tire done and they did it on the spot and had me ready to go! Ended up during an order for new tires the same week. I appreciated how efficient the whole process was since I was debating Costco but I glad I got taken care of in time for my trip! Great service and friendly customs service so it was worth it! read more

I've been coming here since it was Lamar's and other than the name change the service is still great and exactly the same. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, and good quality, fast work. Really convenient to be able to pull in before work with their early hours and be on your way. Always honest with what is being done and what you are being charged for read more

I made an appointment to get my Truck aligned and had to re schedule it they guy on the phone said no problem and changed the appointment then when I dropped it off there was some confusion on scheduling, I ended up leaving my truck with them they did a great job on the alignment my truck was clean afterwards no greasy fingerprints on the inside or outside of the truck, when they called me to pick it up since it was my first time with them they tried to up sell me on a bunch of stuff that I just had serviced my self without testing or doing a thru inspection. Overall good experience just look out for the extras they want to add and make them stick to there word. read more

very great service and knowledgeable of what I was looking for to install on my trailer. Thank you for quick service.

I rarely just hand out 5 star reviews. Here you go Lamar Brothers, your 5 stars. No appointment, just a walk with a few questions. I was pointed in the right direction, got my answers and my tires balanced for 40 bucks. I had one bad tire they noticed as they were working (my wobbly problem) and balanced the spare to put on at no extra charge...sweet. The help here are all professionals that now there jobs, working as a team to get it all done quickly. I wasn't the only customer in the place and yet no body seemed to be waiting for help. There kinda out of way of sight so you might not think of them first for alignment or your tire needs but you should. So any how, I was out of there in about 30 minutes, problem solved. Last word...done. read more

We have been targeted by neighborhood vandals to include having nails in multiple tires on my daughter's car and the tire slashed on one of mine. When my daughter tried calling other tire places in Salinas, the dramatically tried to up sell get. We took our cars to East Bay. They helped us immediately, they repaired all 3 tires under $100 and rotated my daughter's tires. We've used them a few times in the past, but now we're not going to anyone else for tires. read more

Called first thing in he morning and was told to come right in. Came in fie 2 tires and was told my tires on my motorhome were outdated. Replaced all 6 tires in n a few hours. Great service read more

I was looking for a commercial tire center to get the six wheels on my motorhome. Couldn't find the last place I went so I went to East Bay. Nothing but trouble. No QA on the work. Had to have all my valves replaced, elsewhere of course. If you go here make sure you keep an eye on the technicians and get a good QA walkthrough. read more

Friendly service and fair prices. I had my 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid in for an alignment; it was finished in 45 minutes and cost $45.00. Highly recommended. read more

I got a flat entering Salinas a few nights ago. I had to get it fixed early Monday morning. There were a couple shops on South Main that were open but couldn't help me until later in the morning. One of the mechanics recommended I head over to Lamar Brothers. I showed up at 7:30. They quickly took care of it and I was on my way before 8:00! I almost gave them 4 Stars because I expected them to put a cheap/easy plug in the tire. Instead they took the tire off the rim and did a full patch. It costed $24. I didn't expect to pay that much. I gave them 5 stars anyway because I didn't want to penalize them just because I am a cheapskate. read more

Tire rotation without an appointment... in and out in literally 12 minutes, seriously. Completely satisfied, friendly, has a waiting room... no complaints and will return again and again read more

The guys at Lamar Bros are the best...can't emphasize that enough. Getting a rotation done on my 32' commercial trailer (EZPZ Video Game Parties) was a breeze. Plenty of room and could pull through/around the lot without having to maneuver the trailer. The vast majority of shops in our area can't really accommodate trailers this size; Lamar Bros was a huge find for me. Will definitely be back, and not just with the trailer either. read more

John (the manager) and his crew are amazing. They're are very professional and a pleasure to work with. From Rene on the phone to Arias the main guy who greeted me and installed my tires was awesome. I will definitely be back soon and will be referring all my customers that need tires to these guys from now on. read more

We were on a roadtrip and got a double nail in one of the tires. It was Saturday, so I was worried it would be hard to get it fixed. I called up East Bay Tire, and they helped us right away! Their price was very reasonable, too. Thank you so much, East Bay Tire! read more

I have been going to Lamar Bros for several years for tires for my diesel fleet. This time I came in for three new tires and a balance. I received a call letting me know that both the ball joints in my Ford 350 were bad and that they wouldn't do the alignment until I got the ball joints done. The quote was for $975 after I had already spent $675 on tires. I got a second opinion and the ball joints were just fine. I called them to complain and they offered me a free alignment. Good thing I got the second professional opinion or else I would be out $1,000! Now I need to go somewhere else and spend more of my time to get an alignment. I will NEVER go back to these crooks again. They get zero stars for being rip off artists but yelp makes me choose a one star minimum. After all these years I have supported them with my business fleet of trucks. I am disqusted that they have no integrity. Do not waste yourtime or money supporting Lamar Bros in Salinas. read more

Best price, great service. Turns out these are real people doing their best to satisfy customers. I will recommend them to all my friends.

This place is a joke. The prices they ask are ridiculous, things people speak highly of are the same things that ATC does for free anyways. I went in to ask about 4 tires for my sedan and I'm met with "unlike other places here in town, we don't offer cheap Chinese tires" I was shocked, I never asked for "cheap Chinese tires" and to be told that and have it followed by a quote of $1200 for "stock tires" that match what the car came with is a joke!!!! They weren't even the same tires my car had brand new! Who falls for this crap? I don't know the gentlemen's name, but it was a tall , light, over weight man. Under 50 id say. read more

I live in Hollister and had a small tractor that needed a tire repair. Everything sounded good at the beginning, so I asked them to do a service call. When they came to repair it the tire man instead of unwinding the stem holder on the tube, just pulled it out with some vice grip like pliers and yanked it out. He would not bend over to take off the old one. It was easier to just pull it out standing up. Horrible/Lazy. Cost me another $65. The salesperson George would not acknowledge the problem just wanted me to pay for the tube. He didn't care that one of his employees ruined it. He just cared about the money. Lamar Bros is a big lie in my opinion. So be aware. Might be hustlers. Oh and by the way that was my first time there. What do you think about that ? Jim 831-265-4005 read more
