Filing Police statement- dispatch and Officer (I am not at liberty to say as the business is threatening the police now) know Frank by name and already knew the business address before I gave the information; this business has had past problems. They have had numerous incidents and stated that I was not the first one, and there have been worse. The Owner Frank Whitaker tried to pocket money from us, demanding cash only and aggressively refused to give a sales receipt for horrible work done on my truck and accosted myself along with my two year old daughter, chasing us out of the building. My husband and I have had MANY insane issues from this center from the beginning, lack of communication, turned away 3 times when coming in person to get an estimate, our truck sat unserviced for 5 DAYS, list goes on...We stupidly stayed with them through the process as their reviews appear to be glowing and we needed the truck to be fixed asap for our jobs. It literally sat in his parking lot untouched by a mechanic for 5 DAYS, so my husband and I lost a lot of time and jobs that we needed! Too many red flags and complaints to list here. He demanded cash only since he claimed he was doing us a "favor" by giving us a discount, for shitty work done we also worked with my insurance for the service. As soon as I simply asked why we couldn't get a receipt, (obviously he has ill intent and wanting to take advantage of us being very naive) the owner, Frank Whitaker, accosted myself and my as daughter and screamed at us to get out, following up with insults, throwing his chair and things around his office, slamming one of his office doors, it was NOT SAFE to continue this conversation any further! My two year old got scared and ran. As the screaming continued, I grabbed my daughter and my money and ran to the parking lot, next dealing with his "accountant" who was also in on this situation...more insane nonsense continued, she acted as a middle man in this abusive situation. We left after no conclusion could be made, should have left asap for many reasons. This was a dangerous, sick situation with a MENTALLY ILL PERSON. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE! He treated my husband and I VERY differently from beginning to end, taking advantage of me being alone with my daughter this last time. I hope no one else suffers at the hands of this scumbag. A police statement was made for this incident on 6/1/23. I have recorded some of the conversation with the accountant but am holding it for evidence to protect myself and my daughter who is in the video.More steps to follow. Had a semi tread blowout and hit the front hood of my car causing a dent and gouge in the paint while I was on a trip. Took the car to a few auto body shops, all had great customer service but none felt like the right fit for my car (2017 Mazda MX-5). Earl's was the last place I stopped in to check out; All the staff I worked with were very friendly and the estimate was on par with what the other shops had offered. The difference for me was the cleanliness and professionalism apparent at the shop as well as the many positive reviews on Google. Down to the facts. I dropped the car off on a Monday and was told the car should be ready in 2-3 days. The damage was middle right of the hood far enough in to blend without painting to the edge of the panel. Unfortunately, there was a delay in completing the job due to Mazda not releasing all formulas for the new MX-5's paint so I got the car a day late. The car was parked out front when I went to pick it up so I got a chance to inspect it before anyone could come out. It was a perfectly sunny day so I could get up close and at various angles to check the work. I am very happy with the results. The damage is completely removed and the hood is blended perfectly. I've had the car back for a few days now and had a chance to have others look at it as well, everyone was interested to see if they could pick out the blended area Conclusion: * I would recommend this shop * Great customer service * Excellent workmanship read more

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Frank kept me updated, and helped me thru the entire process in fixing my car. I got into my first accident and didn't even know where to start and Frank helped a lot. He firmly believes in repair shops not taking advantage of women, as he has daughters of his own, and actually cares more about getting the job done right and treating his customers with respect than he does money, and it truly shows. Never ever bring your vehicles here this is the worst ever I had Frank do work on my car for a frame pull weld and to put the driver door and fender on making sure hood door and fender lines up. Frank and i negotiated a set price then he changed the price on me three times then when I picked my car up I seen my door was on fender was off Frank told me I need to communicate more then when i took my vehicle back to mechanic shop I noticed the door has a crevice 1 inch or so to leak rain in the car the the door dropped down almost two inches or so after I opened it and leaned my body against it.. when I called Frank back within a minute of that happening he started cussing me out told me he said not to fix that piece of shit and then continued to cuss me out saying I need to move my other vehicle from his parking lot to pick up my car im speaking of before he tows it away.. I went up to get a receipt as well Frank told me he won't give me no receipt for that thing and leave the property before he calls the police and has them remove me in jail and my car. I am very very impressed by the professionalism, quality of work done by Frank and his team at Earl's for a very reasonable price. My car looks brand new and drives great. Paint job is fantastic. You can't tell the difference even though mine is a ten year old car. They even fixed couple of other minor things for free. This business is honest and does not overcharge or take advantage of it's customers. There is a reason this business has 5 star ratings and that's why I took my car there though I live 15 miles away. And I am glad I did that. I had a good conversation about cars with Tony the mechanic who fixed my car when he gave me ride to work when I dropped my car. I could tell that the guy knows what he is doing and my car is in safe hands. I was looking for advice on some rust issues with my vehicle and saw they were rated pretty well across the board, so I gave a call. The person answering was pretty personable & up-front through the conversation (we can't guarantee rust work, we can do our best but sometimes there's more going on etc.), so I agreed to stop by the next day so they could take a look. I stopped in, met the same person, and he was again very personable and didn't pull any punches about the condition of my vehicle. Ultimately he recommended that the cost of the repair just wasn't worth it. Fine, no problem, I understand. Everything was fine until I brought up the fix suggested by another shop I had consulted, which was welding a plate behind the existing damage. When I described it, he told me that they don't stoop to that kind of thing, then decided to drop an N-bomb and refer to it as "n***** work." Apparently he either didn't know if I got the point, or decided he needed to call out Latinx people too, since he decided to inform me it could also be known as "s**c work." So needless to say I didn't pursue repair through them. But if you're looking for friendly, informative, up-front people and casual racism, hey go for it. read more
