Zero Star! If I could. They need help. I had to wait a month out to drop off my car for a diagnostic. When I did. It took a whole month to get my car back. (Yes a month) of uber and ask for ride to work ect. All that to pick it up, and my car is doing the same thing less that 4 hrs. When I called they said I Had to get back in that line with shortness of staff. and half ass work. No thank you. Please find another place. They cost me so much money, and headaches. Hired them to install a simple stereo in my truck. Instructions went as followed: Need touch screen bluetooth capability, need access to Sirius/XM. They gave me the cheapest thing they could find, failed to add the Sirius capability and actually didn't know where they put my truck. I walked around multiple parking lots looking for it. Fast forward 4 months. Stereo DIES. Black screen, dead. Try to call them 10 times only to be hung up on 10x. I have now spent $500 on a shit stereo unit lacking one of two things I cared about...AND I'm getting hung up on trying to let them know. My husband purchased a remote start for my new Wrangler here. My experience with the staff was excellent. My remote start is excellent, and the cost was very reasonable. They talked to me about the differences between using my vehicle remote or a separate fob. I chose the separate fob, as they said the range would probably be greater. So far, I'm extremely satisfied with the product. I will have them look at installing an auxiliary cable on my 2001 BMW radio in the spring when I take it out of storage. (That series radio does not have an auxiliary port in the back of the radio, so it is trickier.) I'll update after my radio is updated. read more

I wanted to get the 2007 Mercedes that I just bought hooked up with bluetooth for my iPhone, so I made an appointment to bring it to Wired Right this morning to install a Parrot 3100. I knew that the car already had bluetooth, but I figured it was pretty primitive technology and wanted something more up to date. Also nobody at Mercedes dealer or Best Buy could figure out how it works and the manuals that came with the car are very unclear on telephone functions. Vince called me about an hour after I dropped the car off and said he found a way to save me a bunch of money - he figured out how the factory-installed bluetooth works. It is actually very easy to use, voice activated, all the bells and whistles, so I don't need the Parrot after all. He could have gone ahead, installed the Parrot, let me pay for something I don't need. i know next to nothing about car electronics, so I'd have been none the wiser. It was very cool of Vince to call me back in and show me how to pair my iPhone with the Mercedes. If I ever need a car stereo or any other products or services that Wired Right can provide, that's where I'm going! read more

Purchased a factory back up camera for my 2012 Tiguan over the internet. I really wanted a seamless look rather then an aftermarket camera. The one I got was suppose to fit perfectly into the truck of the car and be wired into the car's on board nav system. I called everywhere and every installer wanted to sell me a aftermarket camera rather then install the one made for my car! I even called the dealer where I purchased the car and they quoted me anywhere between 5 - 20 hours @ $117 an hour. Seriously!! Finally, I got a recommendation from the place that fixes my cars. Called Vince at Wired Right and he said no problem, bring it in. So I did. They did a beautiful job. Looks like the car was built with the camera. No exposed wires anywhere. The paperwork that came with the camera said anywhere from 3 - 4 hours by a professional audio installer. Wired Right did the job in just over 2 and charged me an even 2 hours at a discounted rate. They installed a combo stereo, GPS, and rear camera for me. The work had a few issues and they didn't test the installation very well so I ended up having to make a second trip to fix those (He didn't reset an ODBC code they tripped, and there was feedback from the rear camera that made the display flash), but they were fast and friendly so overall a positive experience. I'd give them 5 stars but they charged me an extra half hour labor ($42) to fix a part that I could have replaced for $15 without asking me first. I also had to adjust the rear camera myself as it was pointing to the sky instead of the street. It's a small nit, but considering I paid over $200 for the install it's something that would have been nice to have done right the first time. Overall I'm pleased. I chose them based on the positive feedback here and I may have just hit them at a bad time as they seemed fairly busy. On the second trip to fix the issues they took care of me almost immediately. read more

This is my first negative review ever. I took my car in this morning. I was greeted by Jason, his demeanor was here nor there, kind of dry. I told him specifically that one of the things that I need it done was a fuse for my horn (wait). My initial conversation was with Jen over the phone. I mentioned to her all that I need it done for my vehicle, is a Mercedes and the locks and windows, blah blah, etc. she never mentioned that they were be a fee just to check, never. They quoted me a ridiculous amount. Keep in mind, I have referred this please to more than eight people. I have also been a previous customer of this place, which was great! NOT this time. Fast forward, when I go pick up my car they charge me $91 for nothing they didn't even put a fuse on my horn. My window was 2 inches down, I literally paid $91 for nothing. Plus I had to Uber home earlier that was $23 so I spent a total Hundred dollars and some change for nothing. Please ask this place if they will charge you before you take it in. Is complete BS, very unprofessional and lack of communication. I will NOT be referring anyone here. I'm disappointed. I'm in customer service and sales, it should not have been conducted this way. Usually conflict resolution based. I had spent over $1500.00 collectively on a Sony head unit and a upgraded rear view mirror. After multiple trips to have the steering wheel controls fixed as well as the mirror that was hanging by wires, when dealing with Jason, is general demeanor is unhelpful and lacks accountability. I was told repeatedly that unless they can get it to malfunction ( the radio ) there is nothing they can do. The mirror bracket broke after they installed it, I was basically told not my problem, find a glass company. Upon ordering parts, was told receptionist would contact me when part came in and would schedule appointment for mirror install. After a week, I finally called, was told she was sick and would contact me, didn't, had to call again to be scheduled out a week later. Two days to get mirror, two weeks to get it installed, then when it broke, no assistance whatsoever, just a classic I cannot help you with an attitude not conducive to any form of decent customer service! So regretting using them as now if something else goes wrong will be dealing with the same behavior. With the exception of the last encounter, remained kind and patient. Disgusted! read more

Very helpful... I had an intermittent speaker problem that I thought was due to my own poor wiring job. They door the dash apart, checked the wiring, and put it back together, and didn't want to charge much because they couldn't find the problem. However, eEven though no fault was found, the problem hasn't reappeared... so clearly they fixed my loose connection. I guess I should have taken my car here to begin with. read more
