It was a little difficult to schedule during the weekdays and during business hours since you need to allow for enough time (up to 4 hours). If you have a lot of pet hair or it is extremely dirty, it will likely take longer. I purchased a Groupon for a complete car detail, both indoor and outdoor, so they were also difficult to schedule since the Groupon was so popular. Green Light Auto is located just off the corner on SOM Center and Vine (you'll see the sign for their neighbor business, Flavors On The Vine, but it is the same lot to turn in). We missed the turn the first time since the store front wasn't as obvious. Once you drop off the car, they will call you when they are finished. We dropped the car off shortly after 8 AM on a Friday and came back around noon, but just had to wait 15 min more for them to finish. We sat in the little lobby and brewed a coffee with their keurig while watching whatever show was on their tv. Nikki (sp?) was the one who detailed our car and she did a fantastic job!! All the nooks and crannies were cleaned out and the outside of the car was sparkling. I'd highly recommend going here for a car detail, if you want to treat yourself or as a really great gift to someone. They don't list the prices on their website, but mine was already paid for since I bought the Groupon. I saved a lot of money but still made sure to tip on the full price (still ends up being cheaper). Car detailing gets 5 starts but giving the place an overall 4 since the detailing did take over 4 hours to complete (not complaining since it was beautifully done, but just had planned to get back to work after lunch).

I had visited 3 other places on Vine Street which advised me they either didn't work on Audis or were not happy to do so and even though they were busy they took time to look at my car. "Unbelievably bad service", should be the description of what this shop does. I took my car in to…read morehave two audio amps installed, the guy working there charged more than another shop would have to do the same work but he could get me in sooner than other shops. I left him specific written instructions and details of my equipment that was to be installed, along with my verbal instructions of what I needed done. The installer wired the two amps up and left them unsecured to the car, so they were just sliding around in the car. He also left the wire that turns one of the amps on disconnected. He left a whole lot of copper wire stands all around the amps, as if he were trying to cause a short on purpose in my equipment. He broke a clip that secures the facing around my radio head unit in the dashboard. He left my microphone disconnected from the radio, resulting in people not being able to hear me while using my phone when connected to my radio. He also cut my seat belt harness cable on my driver's seat all the way through very neatly, leaving the heat Shrink plastic around it somewhat in tact to slightly hold it in place. That by itself is going to be at least $150-$250 to have replaced. My advice is to keep your car away from this shop if you value your car. There's a good chance that whatever work you want done will not be done properly, that you'll be overcharged for the work, other equipment in your car will be broken, and you'll be here writing about what horrendous things happened to your car. On a good note, the installer sounded professional and was polite, before he turned into Mayham. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AUTO SHOP.. Oh, almost forgot, there's a dent now in the door area that's visible when the car door is opened, I believe the installer may have mental problems. There are better shops to have your work you need done properly done.

I went there to get an estimate because she was going to pay cash for the repair to avoid risking having her insurance canceled . The technician took a look at it and said "I think that will buff out" and before I knew it he was running an extension cord out to my car and buffing out the damage . I was able to call the lady and tell her that she didn't owe me anything because of their kindness . When I have gone in for paid jobs, they've always been professional and worked with me and the insurance company .

I was told I would be given a cash discount that did not happen. Took the car in for front end damage and cosmetically it looks ok but now I have to pay someone for a wheel alignment. It seems if they were putting my front end back together and charging me over my quoted amount they could have aligned the wheels. I can't say I need auto body shops alot but I will not recommend any business that has bad business practices. I read the reviews and chose this shop based off those reviews, but the reviews don't reflect the service I received. Very disappointed customer!!
