The ambience was great. We had the Capri salad, the manicotti, and the chicken Parm for dinner. It was to die for! The gravy (sauce) on my manicotti brought tears to my eyes it was made with such love. For dessert we had the cannoli and the cheesecake. Even if you don't eat dessert, get it and take it home. Cannot wait to go back and try something different on the menu. Saw things passing us as they were being served that we were like we're getting that next time.

We've been in TN for nearly three weeks now and have been so excited trying many restaurants that…read moreare popular amongst the locals here. Speedy Burrito has raving reviews which caught my attention. It was a Sunday afternoon and this place was packed! It's a bit overwhelming at first because the menu is on the side, there are no individual menus, and everyone who is there knows exactly what they want without looking at the menu on the chalkboard. That confidence will come in due time. We ordered the chips and queso, three chorizo soft tacos with a large side of rice and beans, and a chorizo burrito in the "super" size at the front counter. It was quite hot inside so do be prepared for the possibility of no AC. The food came out rather quickly considering how busy it was. The staff were all friendly, too. We took our food to-go but there are plenty of seats and tables inside. The food here is AMAZING. These tacos are the real deal! The queso was good...except for the fact that my dog got on the table and knocked my beautiful tub of queso all over her and on the carpet. I was so mad, dude. It was really good queso and she managed to get about 90% of it out of the container. The salsa that comes with the chips is amazing, too, so much so that I would buy it in a large jar if I could! It's spicy but also sweet like it's flavored with fruit (my guess is peach). It's delicious!! As simple as it sounds, the rice and beans were pretty good, too, and the portion was big. My husband's super burrito was good and it fed him for several days. I can't wait to come back and try other dishes, but honestly, I'll probably keep getting more tacos from here because they're that good. Oh, and more queso, of course.

Not this place, the catfish was meaty, cooked to perfection, seasoned by a master, and the breading was on point. I got a side of white beans and slaw that were also cooked and seasoned to perfection. I was worried about those mini hush puppies being too fried, but they were light and fluffy. My catfish did not need any sauce, but then they brought out that tartar sauce and changed my life. It was light, tangy, and you could taste the fresh dill; it was perfection. I would buy this weekly if they bottled it. This restaurant does it right, very efficient and friendly front staff, food came quickly, generous portions, seasoned to perfection, and everything was made to make you melt in your seat delicious. For fried food, it was not heavy or greasy. I can see why they have so many great reviews, hands down one of the best restaurants in Lebanon PERIOD! I don't care where you live, drive here, throw a dart at the menu, and you will get food made right and with a lot of heart. So glad we finally tried this restaurant.

Lo and behold, I was craving a sandwich one day and looked up their menu. It had pretty solid options and reminded me of a Panera. That's exactly what McAlister's is except it's not bougie with the price to match. McAlister's reminds me of a Marie Calendar's but in deli form. I ordered two different sandwiches (McAlister's Club and King Club), a baked potato, potato salad, and nachos via mobile app for pickup. It was ready when I got there so the app time was pretty spot on. The sandwiches were DELICIOUS. The only thing I honestly wouldn't get again were the nachos, they were okay. The cheese sauce was amazing but the nachos themselves were pretty plain. The baked potato side was huge and well worth the upgrade. Of course I'll be back, I'm already wondering when I get to visit again!

The inside has plenty of seating and appears clean and maintained. The issue these days with any deli meat is the preservatives and ingredients, guaranteed not organic or healthy unfortunately every food establishment these days is selling unhealthy food so it's best to eat at home unless you are forced to because of travel or pure convenience e.g. the stove is broken or the fridge is empty.

My husband and I both ordered the PB&J bowls size medium, his with added coconut and mine with added goji berries. We ordered online and did pickup in store. When I saw that extra toppings were only 25 cents more per topping, I immediately fell in love!! Most smoothie shops charge at least 75 cents if not a dollar per additional topping. Our bowls were DELICIOUS, tasted natural, and weren't overbearingly sweet. This is a real-deal smoothie shop. Now I know why you're paying little extra, the ingredients are premium.
