Tucked away from the main action areas of Aberdeen, we had to drive a few miles to find this place. There were enough parking in their private lot. We were greeted by a young lady who showed us a table with a window view. They have quite a few options on their menu. It's a $$ place. They also offered the Bobas. We started with Sunshine Tea and Chicken potstickers. Also ordered the Pad Kra Pao and Pineapple fried rice. Wait time wasn't crazy. They served the Sunshine tea first, followed by the potstickers. We experimented a little bit with the spice level. Level 4 spice level was not bad for us. Really loved the potstickers - hot and crispy. Within a few minutes they served the Pad Kra Pao and Pineapple fried rice as well. Loved the flavors of the food. It was different. I was expecting a more Americanized version of Thai food, but this turned out to be more on the authentic side of it. Spice level was spot on for us. I was trying the Pad Kra Pao for the first time - that too with tofu. Really enjoyed. The Pineapple fried rice was also lived up to our expectations. Great food, terrific service - overall amazing experience. Highly recommended.

Broth is flavorful and a nice balance. Not too salty, but still rich in flavor. Quality ingredients. Never issues with fatty steak. Nice and lean and meaty. Friendly service. Interior is kept up well, open, comfortable, clean.

I ordered the grilled chicken vermicelli bowl, which was a generous portion filled with noodles, vegetables, and chicken. It was good, but not exceptional. The chicken lacked a distinct grilled flavor. However, the standout feature of the dish was the sweet fish sauce. It was incredibly delicious and definitely the star of the dish. The service at Pho 102 was mediocre. While not unfriendly, it lacked the warmth and attentiveness that makes a dining experience enjoyable. I had to get up and ask for a takeout container and my bill, which made me feel like I was forgotten after my order was delivered. An offer to refill my water or a check in to see how the dish was would have made a big difference. Overall, I'm not sure if I'll return to Pho 102. There are many other pho joints in the area, and I'm more likely to try a place that offers better service and a friendly smile.

The owners work there and are so cute and sweet! I had the pho tai and to my delight they serve nuoc beo!!! (pronounced nook-bail, which is the skimmed pho fat with green onions soaked in it - SO GOOD AND ADDICTIVE. if a pho place does it i know the pho will be good.) the pho is more southern style - sweeter, darker broth. but so so good!! they give a GENEROUS amount of meat and noodles. the pho was so good i got it twice in one day, lol. my husband got the grilled chicken, level 3 spicy. and gosh was it spicy! they make their own chili oil and paste and you can definitely taste the unique twist on the chicken. it's so deliciously spicy, it hits your tongue then lingers. def recommend if you're a true spicy fan - otherwise stick to level 1/2. they warned him when we ordered the chicken lol. will be a regular spot for us now, and will tell all our friends.

It was good, but I totally expected a pad see ew equivalency with the big and flat noodles. These noodles did not taste as good as that, but eh... on me for not reading the whole description. The Vietnamese coffee was indeed very bitter, but thank gosh for our very accommodating waitress who was willing to pour in mil k to sweeten it up for me. It took me a bit to finish this drink because it did its job to wake me up after a 12 hour shift, tax filing for the 2025 year, and immediate hangout with Jaric. Jaric got something with chicken, which was okay. I liked it and it was definitely filling! The restaurant is fun with its yellow lighting, but it is one where you are able to still take nice enough photos as well as read the menu. Thank you again to the waitress for helping me finalize my order when I had to take some time to decide what was worth the price to eat. Thank gosh for side street parking during the weekday, too, because we were able to comfortably park our car and go to this restaurant.

The peanut sauce that accompanied it was very sweet and thin, and both rolls fell apart as soon as I took the plastic wrap off. The pork wasn't grilled, it tasted like it was microwaved, there was no flavor at all, the veggies were limp, there was no jalapeño or anything and no Vietnamese mayo, the only good part was the bread. We ordered three sandwiches, one for each of us and one for our son. We just shared the 1, and gave most of that to our dog. We brought the other 2 home. My son took a bite and couldn't eat any more of it. And he eats everything lol I absolutely hate wasting food and money like this. I was really, really looking forward to a bahn mi sandwich. I'm having oral surgery in a week and won't be able to eat them for a very, very long time, maybe never again. We live in Aberdeen and were in town for a doctor's appointment, and our usual spot is closed on Thursdays. So I found this place on yelp. Huge disappointment. And I'm bummed that I have to leave this review because the service was great. The gentleman at the counter, who took our order and cooked our food was super friendly and nice. And maybe the other food there is good, but if you're looking for a bahn mi, go somewhere else. It was literally the worst we've had.
