Every question, sometimes very simple was denied. You have to make appointment for everything 1 week prior, but sometimes you have an urgent question, they told me I should leave and make appointment, same time they accepted walk in people who spoke their language . Very rude and ridiculous attitude towards regular customers, same time I never had issues when I called to customer service, over phone they are nice and helpful. So,all in all, just not this location. If you driving, use other places, maybe they are more normal. Here you feel like you are uninvited guest to someone's home.

AVOID!!! Run away, stay away!…read more Do you like not wasting your time? Do you want your bank to care about you? Do you want equal treatment? no discrimination? Do you want to be questioned whether you have a job and whether you even have knowledge about simple things like checking account? If you say yes to any of these, come here. if not, avoid at all cost. I wanted to open something as simple as checking account. They don't allow you to do it online. WHY???? Well, I tolerated that as it was special offer. They made me wait 20 mins only to say if I didn't bring my passport (driver's license isn't good enough, what, why???) they can't help me. How about let me know right away so that I could not waste my time waiting? or better yet, why not write on the flyer that I got in the mail that is what I need. I wold've brought it with me if they did! I strongly believe it was the racist Meerna lady made up that rule. Every bank accepts driver's license, global entry card and state ID. Only this lady said those were all not acceptable despite I had them all with me in person. She was even surprised I didn't carry passport with me. Who does??? She should be fired for her rudeness, judginess, discrimination, inability to do her job and lying about the requirement of the bank. I later called and inquired; Wells Fargo as a bank does NOT require passport only. She simply lied. She also looked at the man I was with and asked if I actually had a job or if I was lying and asked while giggling. Kept asking if the reason why I didn't have my passport with me was because I was not legally allowed to have one?! Like what?? Even police don't ask this! How sexist and racist is that? Let's also not forget WF as a bank has a documentary on netflix about how they have illegal operations milking their customers, so why would you wanna waste your time and money here? Friends, I am telling you, don't waste your time or money. Don't come here!

When it comes to anything financial- related, it's really important, to stay on top of it, seriously. But man, why would the clerk on the other end verify the Mailing address? Only to have it go to our old address on record, which was identified as the Residential address? And this was an old address, we have not lived there in years, nine years to be exact. After the first loss, and the debit card floating around somewhere, got a letter stating that the debit card would be listed as "inactive". It had the last four digits on this letter. I am the Primary on this account, I use this account to pay all of the Bills, so I cannot have any issues with this account, none. I asked my husband to call on this issue. It wasn't my debit card, so I couldn't call on this matter. This happened twice. What the heck?! The reason behind my star rating, is that this Bank still accepts Zelle, my credit union does not support it any longer, the BillPay system is very good, and the APP is very good, very user-friendly. I love when technology works- so this is a very good platform. In addition the checking account has no fees, and the ATM's are highly accessible. And it is also connected to the Kohls credit card too. So, I can see all of the accounts on one page. It is convenient.

I closed a bank account of the deceased person and had a cashier check payable to me. I deposited it into my recently opened Capital One checking account. Approximately 45 minutes after making the deposit, I received an e-mail from Capital One that read in part "One or more of your accounts have been restricted due to activity that is inconsistent with typical customer account usage, and we need to complete a review." The e-mail asked me to call. I immediately called and had a phone call that lasted approximately 43 minutes. I answered all questions asked of me about my background and the source of the funds. I was instructed to go to my local Cafe in the Los Angeles area with my driver's license and social security card. The following day I went to my local Capital One Cafe and showed the local representative my driver's license and my social security card. I was taken to a private room and the representative, and I called the 800 number again. The representative on the phone told me that my deposit was "under investigation" and that they wanted me to verify my identity at an actual Capital One bank. The closest Capital One bank was in Texas. I told them that was not going to go to Texas. I asked to speak with the person who was investigating my deposit. I was told that was not possible and they refused to tell me who was investigating my deposit. I was told that I would be notified of their decision. I waited for over two weeks without receiving an update. After about two weeks, I tried to access my account on-line. I was denied access. I called again and told the representative that I wanted to close my checking account. I was told that it was not possible because I was "under investigation". The representative told me that they would reach out to the person who was investigating me. They again would not give me that person's name. I called again the following week. I was instructed to return to my local Capital One Cafe to once again verify my identity with my driver's license and social security card. I did so for the second time. The local representative and I called the 800 number again. I was told once their investigator verified the source of the funds that I had deposited my bank account would likely be un-frozen. Later that day I received an e-mail that read in part "After further review, the decision to end our banking relationship with you has been reversed." My bank account was finally un-frozen. This was terrible customer service!

This time when I came in, I didn't get a greeting from anyone- there were 3 people there. I went to one of the tellers Bc I saw there and she said hello once I got up there. She was processing someone else's deposit while I waiting to deposit .. She asked me to give her the bag only for her to basically put it back on the counter with a slam. While still counting the money she just looked mad, or frustrated idk.. I was expecting to be in there for no more than 5 minutes but I was there for an extra 10 maybe. While she was processing the deposit she did not say a single word to me. The only thing she would say anything to me about was the money. Not a how are u today. I asked how she was and I just got a stare back. I'm not upset with the bank itself but either she was having an extremely bad day or she just doesn't like her position. Idk but if u go to this bank, do not go to her! I cannot remember her name but it starts with an H or an I?

My fault. BUT this T&C is BURIED in their disclosure (see photo). 3) went to immediately to the bank to close my account. Nice lady helped me, gave me my funds in cashier's checks. 4) after leaving I was called by the bank because they hadn't given me the appropriate documentation to sign. Asked me to return but I couldn't, since I was taking my kid to practice. I said I would try to come the next day, but I didn't know when because I didn't have my work phone in front of me. 5) bank called again and I didn't answer so they left a message. Said if I didn't come back next day they threatened to withhold my money by canceling payment on the cashier's checks. 6) bank called yet again a few minutes later. Kicked off the call with a friendly "this is on a recorded line" opening for legal reasons and reiterated the threat. Nice lady who clearly felt bad that I would have to come back, but hey, if I wanted my money, I'd have to waste more time dealing with them despite my good faith attempt to sever ties because of PNC's error. Worked in customer service many years. I know people make mistakes and I know rules exist for a reason. I was unfailingly polite when closing my account. PNC didn't need to threaten to withhold my deposits, but clearly if you don't follow their rules, they will use it against you, but if PNC screws up, you should expect to bend over backwards to accommodate them, even if its to get YOUR money.
