Years ago, I had a bad experience with them, so I was a little weary. However, I heard that they had tremendously improved and that their business services were great, so I decided that I would go check them out. I asked the representative what paperwork I needed, he said that the tax id form, articles of incorporation, and certificate from the state. The same paperwork that was baffling the PNC representative. I was able to open a business account as a nonprofit organization. He told me that when the IRS approves the 501(c)(3) status to just return, so they can show the exemption. It was smooth sailing with no issues. Other currencies are available for a fee and must be ordered in advance. Downsides: The ATM sometimes runs out of money after a long weekend. The corner location makes the bank difficult to reach and then exit and return from the same direction.

Wells (Worth Less) Fargo,…read more After a number of significant, rather epic, fails on the part of this Well Fargo office, I find myself in a position where I have no reasonable choice but to end a previously good relationship with the bank. This relationship existed for well over 15 years and across multiple states. I have attempted multiple times to transfer funds via "bill pay" to pay out a trust balance. The system does apparently not allow that. After several unsuccessful attempts, I called tech support and they were unable to correct the situation. Today I went to my nearest WF Bank. The clerk displayed ineptitude, or maybe just laziness, and stated she was not able to help me. The person I was speaking with said "I don't understand what the system is doing and don't know how to fix it." Then she told me to go home and call their 800 number. All this over a "little" $20,000 transaction, and, forget the fact that I have, as she saw and noted, another $50k in other accounts with them. Grrr, Well enough said. I give up on you Wells Fargo. If I need to go to an atm late at night, I go to the Giants cause I feel safe. Sometimes I feel like some of the staff that work here don't want to deal with customers so they tell me to use the ATM. Um, sometimes I need to talk to a teller and I hope PNC teaches their workers on customer service instead of 'use the atm'.

Parking can be frustrating at times. The key is to learn the traffic patterns. Usually I'd stop by here mid morning on weekdays. The bank itself is pleasant enough. But they denied my $1 million+ revenue business any line of credit (LOC), even a modest $50K. I went to another bank and got a $100K line of credit that was limited only because they were freaked out by Chain Bridge Bank's refusal to lend. A year later, I got a $250K line of credit with my new bank. Chain Bridge Bank appears to cater only to political campaigns. I fail to understand this since that's a very very risk undertaking. But they don't seem to care about almost sure-thing local businesses that are growing rapidly. And now we are 3 times the size only a few years later due to no help from them since they refused to extend a LOC.

This Clifton branch has been my mom's branch for twenty years, and my latest dealings with them were to manage my mom's estate after she passed away last year. There is so much paperwork involved in closing an estate and a lot of documentation required. It's been such a relief to have such helpful, patient people there to help me.
