I contacted the movers on 10/11. I have been working with Michael Covington. At first he was very helpful and stated I could contact him for help or assistance if needed . The move took place on 10/19 - according to Michael, he stated it could take around 5 days for the move to take place from NM to VA When they came to pick up my items on 10/19 - they came at 3pm when I was quoted a window of 8-10am . When they came they quickly started to load my items and then after a third of the items were loaded, the mover tries and tells me that I am going to owe more than what was quoted. - when I brought to his attention that I was quoted different, he says it's because I need about another 100-150 cubic feet but he won't truly know until everything is loaded in the truck and they can measure. **per federal law - they are not supposed to load anything until they provide a new updated estimate - they did not provide one!! When I brought to his attention the law, he apologized and said he forgot to tell me about the charges and should have done that right away. I contacted newstart during this conflict and talked to a Jamie who said he was contacting management for help but never received any correspondence- I called them again and got to Jamie and he basically told me there wasn't much they could do and if I felt comfortable , I can proceed with the move and they would credit back 20% of my deposit . I was basically stuck and I had a flight leaving the next day for Virginia. I had no choice but to go forward with the move and pay more than what was quoted - even though they broke federal law - I have proof of this that they did. I have not received anything back in terms of my deposit . My belongings have been picked up on 10/19 and it is 11/5 and they still have no updates whatsoever Michael Covington is of no help even when he says he will assist . He directs me to customer service and they are of no help. They have not updated me with any information or support as requested. I have asked for them to update me and they have not. They even claimed that they are not able to get in contact with cobra van lines, they even said they were closed on Halloween. Cobra has a 24/7 support line and I have been in contacted with a rep there, who also doesn't have a definite answer to when my items will arrive I am frustrated and will not recommend this broker to anyone. I am moving forward and will be placing reviews on any available platform notifying people of my experience I read the contracts and I understand them but the customer service and support is null in this company. Once payment was made to them they basically forgot who I am People beware!!! **it is 11/27 and I've finally gotten my items. I contacted their customer service about the status of my credit back and they told me in order to receive my credit that they originally promised me on 10/19, I have to delete all my negative reviews and state that this has been resolved - it has NOT BEEN RESOLVED. Jaimie in customer service was of no help at all . He said he would call the movers and inquire about them suddenly charging me an extr- $450 for shuttle service and he never did. When I emailed him for an update he disregarded my email. Stay away from these th

The worst company i've ever done business with. Currently talking to a lawyer. It took 3 times as long as i was told, over a month for delivery. They increased my total cost by 50% once they landed at my property, which at that point i had no other options. They are a company that takes money and offers nothing. they hire outside businesses who then have zero responsibility or obligation to rectify their damages. I lost nearly every fragile item they took, and somehow they managed to break a 100 year old dresser. DO NOT use this company.

Excellent Packing Services were offered by Eagle Moving. There was no damage, and Everything was packed safely. Outstanding Assistance!

This company is one of the worst businesses in the country and should have no involvement with any associated moving services. As other reviewers have stated: AVOID AT ALL COST!! In December 2021, I had to organize a move from New Orleans to Iowa. The original estimate seemed realistic, but the refined estimate from the secondary company was well above any reasonable amount for furnishing of a 2-bedroom apartment. Upon further inventory on pick-up, the initial estimate of $2,175.67 increased to a total of $7,508 after the quality assurance review and I paid half for pick-up ($3,754.43). Approximately 200 Items, were held in storage in Louisiana during the time I was in the homebuying market in Iowa. After closing on my property, I requested the 23rd of May as an acquisition date. The final delivery happened over 3 months later with persistent phone conversation and anxiety. With many items damaged with puncture holes and broken glass frames, I estimated around $2,000 worth of damage and the delays. Be mindful that after taking your hard-earned money for the initial estimate, Eagle Moving washes their hands of any additional responsibilities. There is nothing majestic about this "eagle." Look elsewhere for your moving services.

WARNING: Avoid Eagle Moving Group at all costs. I was quoted $1,185 for my move, but they secretly subcontracted to an F-rated company, changed the pricing to square footage, and demanded over $1,000 more, essentially holding my belongings hostage. The mover was unprofessional, impaired, damaged my apartment, and refused to provide a receipt. When I contacted Eagle Moving Group, their manager admitted to mistakes but refused to fix them, and I never received the contract or recorded calls I requested. This company uses bait-and-switch tactics and deceptive practices--do not trust them. Not only did they offer zero military discounts, this company scammed me and acknowledged it the entire process with zero empathy or remorse.

This company got be the worst of all. Nothing they say is true, bunch of sales ppl with fake names like Adam Walker, soon to get their cut and bounce you to the next random movers who would come out to negotiate more money. They quoted a decent price until I found out the morning of the move I need to pay a lot more than what was quoted. I wished I pulled the plug right there when they were not reachable. I paid more than a $1000 ( a thousand) more than quoted, after a bunch of arguments and removed much of my belongings. They don't care about any of this. Hope they get a law suit that gets them of this business. They are bunch of liars. It's basically a modern day legally registered SCAMMER COMPANY. read more

Scammers, Con Artist, Crooks I booked with them, then I cancelled the same day when i realized how inaccurate my inventory list was. Putting small boxes when I said I have large, etc... They did this so they can get the price low to get the business then jack it up later. I was told that I would not be charged the $1700 deposit. Then two days later they charged me anyways. It has been a nightmare to try to get my refund back. Everyday I was calling and emailing them regarding my refund that should have never been taken in the first place. Everyday its a new lie, either they processed it and its my banks fault, even went as fars as sending me a receipt of them charging me, and put refund status in the subject line. Like I'm an idiot. The rude unprofessional female supervisor told me that if I contacted BBB or left a bad review telling the truth about what they are doing to me and probably many others that they would not give me my money back at all. Then she hung up in my face. Don't use this companies, if they give a person this Much trouble just to get a refund, I know I dodged a bullet by not using them for my move. read more

Caution - Fraudulent & Deceptive Business Practices! Eagle Moving Group Inc. misrepresented themselves and their "services" during our interstate move (violating the "Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act [815 ILCS 505/]" and the "Uniform Deceptive Trade Practices Act [Section 2]"). (1.) They conducted a bait-and-switch operation by intentionally providing us with a low-ball estimate and falsely claiming that it would be accurate within a margin of 5%--unless we added or removed any items. We paid a large deposit based on their false information and "errors", which were only revealed to us in a so-called "Quality Assurance Check" after the non-refundable deposit was paid and the 72-hour cancellation period had passed. Despite REMOVING all of their personal packing services and materials, REMOVING over half of the total box count, and REMOVING several large furniture items from the initial quote... Eagle Moving Group Inc. somehow INCREASED our charges by over 55%. Then, with less than 24 hours' notice before delivery, we were notified that the final increased payment had to be made in advance by cash or money order (forms of payment that can't be cancelled or disputed) otherwise they would withhold and not deliver our belongings. (2.) They claimed to be a full-service moving company, assuring us that the same crew who disassembled and picked up our belongings would drive, unload, and reassemble them upon delivery. However, without our prior knowledge or consent, Eagle Moving Group Inc.: * Hired a separate carrier (Relo Van Lines) to pick up our belongings in New Orleans and transport them to a warehouse in Birmingham, Alabama. * Left our belongings in an undisclosed warehouse for an unspecified amount of time, delaying our promised delivery date with no indication of when it would be completed. * Employed a different carrier (Moving Forward Group) to transport our belongings from the warehouse to our new home in Chicago. * The final driver then contacted local individuals--not fully employed by the company--to unload our belongings. (3.) Finally, our furniture and belongings were severely damaged during the move (all documented with pictures and videos), and everything smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Our furniture was left in pieces and in some cases completely upside down, with nothing reassembled as promised. Our boxes were already opened and dumped out BEFORE being delivered with individual items carried separately and in different containers. Additionally, our new home's walls, doors, door frames, and hallways were severely scraped, dented, and chipped. We spent hours making numerous calls, sending emails, and writing letters to try and fairly resolve our situation, but they only offered us a refund of a few hundred dollars (with an NDA attached) when the fraudulent charges and damage to our property cost several thousand dollars. We were able to dispute only a small portion of partial payment which was made by credit card. We tried to initiate their neutral arbitration process (as promoted on their own website and required for interstate movers according to federal law [Section 49 U.S.C. Section 375.211]), but after many attempts and pushback we were eventually informed that Eagle Moving Group Inc. DOES NOT have an arbitration program of any kind. Regrettably, our experience is not unique and other victims have shared similar stories about the deceptive practices committed by Eagle Moving Group Inc. (Notably, the only positive reviews seem to originate from new accounts, devoid of all service details, and are suspiciously similar in wording and punctuation...) This highlights a pattern of dishonest conduct by the company, and we want to strongly caution all potential customers before hiring their "services". *** Reporting Interstate Moving Fraud If you've been a victim of their fraudulent and deceptive business practices, here is some information that you may find helpful. First, do not blame yourself for falling victim to their malicious actions. This is NOT your fault. Eagle Moving Group Inc. is preying on vulnerable people who are in a stressful transition, with limited time, and often tight budgets. They have a scripted routine for baiting customers, as well as for their handling of the many customer concerns and complaints. Please know that you are not alone. (1.) Do not use this company under any circumstances. You will pay more than double your quote. They have the right per their contract to deliver the furniture in 30 business days. Of course they do not tell you this. They will totally ghost you after they receive their 50% deposit, which is basically their brokerage fee. All the do for that fee is hire a mover and then they are gone. They do a bait and switch and purposefully underestimate the cost so you will choose them. Then on moving day the movers tell you, you have more cu ft than you paid for. You are forced to pay amount because you have to move out because your lease is ending. I guess buyer beware and too good to be true was invented for this company. Just don't use. If I can save one person from this mess! read more

Do not use this company! They are unethical. I provided a detailed inventory list with accurate dimensions. We were quoted a price based on the dimensions on the list. When the movers arrived (who are subcontracted) they informed us that we actually needed double the cubic for which we paid. Eagle would not respond to calls. They are thieves. Stay away from then. I suspect this is the way they do business. read more

DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND LEARN FROM OTHERS' MISTAKES. DON'T USE THIS SCAM!!!! My son and daughter and law didn't and got ripped off. Eagle Moving Group subcontracts. My daughter in law hired this company. Shorty before their items were to arrive they were told that the movers were owed an additional 2,000.00 dollars. I don't know about other state, but in my state it's against the law to hold one person's property "hostage" in lieu of payment. read more

DO NOT USE THIS BROKERAGE firm to set up your move they're a scam. Worse moving brokerage company ever. They just care about stealing your money and will not give you real quotes. It's best to deal with moving companies directly. The movers will show up and give you another quote completely different from what Eagle Move representatives give you. Their customer service sucks, you can barely get a hold of individuals by name. And don't bother emailing asking them to give you a call back. I regret not doing research on them prior to using them. NEVER again. read more

Not happy about the estimate. The final price ended up being almost twice as much. They do very good sales pitch (and you definitely pay for their marketing skills) and then you are on your own, dealing with the actual movers on the day you have to move out, and pay all that extra money. read more

This company really likes the "bait-and-switch" scam. Not only do they not inform you they are a broker and not a moving company but they subcontract out to shady movers. Eagle will give you a quote and then ask for a deposit, I.E. They quoted me at 3531.01 in which I gave a deposit (not a broker fee) of 1585.00. I gave a detailed description of my items to be moved and was told Eagle would send a 26ft truck and make it a stress-free move. I even paid extra for 2 10ft kayaks and 10 boxes. Well, surprise surprise Eagle didn't show up but another company did and began to tell us we had more than what we told Eagle and proceeded to start tacking on charges. And on top of that, this company Home & Office Movers brought a smaller truck. I was told later "Why would they bother sending a bigger truck for our items".( Beware they charge by cubic feet and not weight). But they had no issue charging for my furniture. However, the moving company didn't even pack a quarter of our stuff! (I had started complaining to Eagle the moment the movers started all of this mess.) They tried to charge me extra to come back to get the rest of our furniture. Do you want to take a guess what I told them they could do?! The long and short of it is Eagle told me the move total was 3531.01..the movers Home & Office are now trying to charge me nearly 11,000.00. "Micheal" from Eagle has ghosted us and "Tina" told us our contract is with Home & Office and won't bother to help in any way. They took my money and disappeared. The moving company had tried to extort me twice. The first being in the driveway where the driver didn't want to leave unless I gave him 5,000.00 in cash which didn't happen and the second time the operations manager still won't give me the address of the warehouse where they took our furniture unless I give them 5,000.00 in cash,( I have this all recorded on my phone). All of this literally took place the very next day after they took our furniture. We are now fighting to get it back as our stuff is being held hostage. I have had to get the attorney generals from three different states involved and the FMCSA as well as a host of different agencies. If Eagle calls you please hang up and call the authorities for Eagles deceptive practices.Unless you are willing to lose your furniture DO NOT HIRE these scammers. read more

I recently hired Eagle Moving Group, a moving broker, to set up a multi destination move. Based on my prior experience with a moving company, I provided the sales associate via email not once, but twice the distance from where the truck would be parked to the front door of the property while loading and the number of steps both outside and inside the property in order to avoid any extra fees at the time the moved occurred. I obviously put my trust in the wrong sales associate and company, because I ended up paying said fees anyway - service fees for Stairs and Long Carry. I believed the contract I signed included these fees based on my last telephone conversation with the sales associate. Bottom line - DO NOT hire this company - if I could give them no stars, I would. I highly recommend doing research on BBB, other consumers affairs sites, and rating social media sites like this one for any moving company or broker. Most importantly - READ the contract very carefully before signing. If it is NOT clearly stated in the contract - it is NOT included in the price you are paying, no matter what the sales associate may say to you. There are all kinds of fees - elevator, storage handling, redelivery, waiting time, overnight waiting, hoisting, etc., etc. read more

Overall terrible don't use! Upfront customer service was excellent. Packing day of was good except they tried to upcharge for additional sq footage when we had nothing extra. In fact had way less than quoted. The delivery process was atrocious. For 7 days we were told delivery would be tomorrow. Then tomorrow would come and there was no delivery. A customer service manager told me they cannot control the weather or traffic. It is August, unless it was too sunny to drive not a valid reason. To be clear Eagle is a broker, they have no control over your belongings the company they outsource to does. So, it was almost as if too bad, we have your belongings, and you will get them whenever they arrive. They then try up charging on the back end also, even though nothing changed from the original quote. Once delivery was finally made, we were without key items. Part of the fee paid was for resetting up bedroom furniture that never arrived. Call customer service and told to file a claim that is our only recourse. Which is true, because they will not unload the truck at all until they receive full payment. Would never recommend this company. Terrible customer service and the service provided was not good. The upfront service makes the move sound simple and there will be no delays or issues. I feel like I was sold a bill of goods. At every turn, more money was demanded and there is no recourse as they have your property. Find a different mover. read more

I wish I could give them 0 stars. They are scammers. They broke too many of my things to count. I was tricked into signing a contract with them because they told me my stuff would get to me quickly and would be a much cheaper price than any other quotes I got, turns out it took over three weeks until I got my things, with my stuff being moved into a truck, then out of the truck, then into a storage unit, then back on a truck, then into my house. My boxes looked like a stamped had run them down, even when they said fragile on them. I am completely convinced by the way my boxes look, that they threw them during each move. They do not care about you, or your things. They just want money. They are terrible people. I truly never wish anyone bad, but for the sake of any potential future costumer, I hope these people go out of business and never return to this line of work. Do not trust anything they tell you. They are not worth a second of your time or a penny of your money. read more

BAIT and SWITCH then DITCH...that should be Eagle Moving Group's tagline, but the truth would be bad for business. First and foremost understand that for moves outside of Florida, they are not the MOVERS they are a BROKER (find you a mover for a fee). How much for their services well that depends...on the size of your credit line. Long Story Short, my 83-year-old mother asked me to research moving companies for her move from a 2 bedroom condo in Colorado to Central California. She needed to move within a certain time period and all of the truly professional, better-known companies were booked out beyond that window. So, I had to try to figure out which of these many brokers were good. As you do the research it is a bit confusing made more so by this site https://www.consumeraffairs.com/movers/ (note if you read closely you will find out they have nothing to do with the Consumer Protection Agencies various governments have, but rather a "pay to play" site, where the moving companies themselves pay for the site's existence. So, you get a different read (surprise surprise) than the BBB or other places such as YELP. So, the salesperson tells you "we only work with professional movers and drop any mover with more than 1 complaint). The operations dept knows of no such criteria. Your assured of the standards of protection the movers employ to protect your belongs and even after paying extra for very special items, 19 things were lost or severely broken by Eagle's selection for our "professional move". They quote a little over $7K for the move and took a $2700+ fee/deposit, then when the box count went up the estimate ended up being $17,200+ from which they took another $2000 fee. BTW, does anyone come to the home to inspect and help estimate the move? of course not...they want you to underestimate so they can hit you with more charges and fees. Their excuse why their contracted movers don't do onsite pre-move inspections?...COVID...so 6 guys can be in your home for 8 hours but 1 person can't be in your home owing to CV19 concerns? BS So, here's how they get you... as you don't know WHO will be the actual movers until 1 day or 2 before the move...you can't say NO without losing your deposit. We were informed that "Good Ole Charly" from Cobra Van Lines of New Jersey really takes good care of his customers". If you look up Cobra Van Lines you get a 1-star rating and many complaints. However, if we refused that service, we would lose $4700 is deposit/broker fees and then have 2 days to find an alternative. See how that works out for them, but not so much for you. Ultimately we paid over $17K for the worst moving experience in my lifetime (I'm 65) and as my job type is very mobile, I have moved 19 times in my life. Try to get any assistance after the fact from Eagle? Nope, not their job. Try to get damages resolved? Well, we're in the middle of that process, but it is a 3rd party/online submission site and the process is arduous, and time-consuming the burden placed on the customer is designed to set up denials. They've messed with the wrong guy this time...I am in contact with every single gov't agency in Florida, New Jersey, Colorado, and California, as well as the Federal agencies D.O.T. and Consumer Protection Agency. Do yourself a big favor....don't do business with either and work with a professional moving company directly. Pay the extra rental month or the new home owners some $$$ to give yourself enough time to work with PRO'S NOT CON'S read more

Please stay away from this company if you want your move to be a positive experience. It's taken me a while to get over what Eagle put me through. It was truly one of the most distressing and upsetting experiences of my life (I'm almost 40). They assigned me to a moving company in Seattle that, I truly believe, was a front for a criminal business. This company essentially stole my belongings for 3 months and threatened legal action after I called to asked about my belongings. When they finally arrived SEVERAL MONTHS LATER, I was met with a full fledged con: they demanded an extra $800 in cash as the moving truck couldn't fit on my street (this is a boldfaced lie) and needed to use a UHaul instead once they arrived in Denver. The owner of the company told me to "fuck" myself when I called and asked about the price. I called Eagle Moving Group in tears several times. They provided me little to no information and were incredibly hard to get in touch with. They told me time and time again they couldn't help besides calling and asking the moving company about the status of my belongings. I was scared that they would ruin my belongings or not bring them at all. When they arrived finally, most of my stuff was broken or damaged. My TV was completely shattered (despite the moving company PACKING IT THEMSELVES). Most of the boxes were in abysmal condition. They looked like they had been thrown around, stepped on, smashed, etc. I never heard a follow up about this experience from Eagle Moving Group. No one called to check in. I received no compensation. No support. Nothing. Please stay away from this company if you are planning on moving. I implore you to take every word of this review as fact - it is - and choose literally any other company to work with. I am honestly surprised they are still in business. Shame on you, Eagle Moving Group. What was supposed to be a positive experience for me moving to a different state turned in to a complete disaster that I am still recovering from many months later. I am surprised the BBB hasn't been contacted yet. It's beyond my comprehension how you run your business by partnering with legitimate criminals. You are guilty by association. Absolutely the worst experience of my life. Read more at: https://www.mymovingreviews.com/movers/eagle-moving-group-inc-32061 read more

I Talked to Steve Grap from Eagle movers. It was the second company I called, he started writing down my contents then all of a sudden he said his computer erased it all and asked me what the other company quoted me and the tonage I told him he quoted me 7202.00 with tarrif discount of 4,177.00 which left 3025.00 fuel charge 453.75 binding estimate 2501.42 witha 2,000.00 discount for military/senior leaving balance of 3980-18 which i paid 1127.59. then closer to the move they said I owed 800.00 more because a mistake had been made. which they got and then my quote went from 7202.00 to 8547.00 plus binding fee went up. I called them and changed my inventory decided not to take several things. They told me that when the movers came they would take care of it and lower the price. Of course it didn't happen , the mover said the items took up same amount of space whic was impossible but being a female and elderly what can i do so I had to end paying 2,590,59 more that I should have paid with less furniture. In turn when they delivered my stuff over a month late the delivery truck stopped a Mexican kid on the street and hired him to help unload my stuff when the door to the truck was opened several contains fell out and I saw my furniture piled on each other. Contracted through Eagle Moving Group to move my one bedroom packages and table. The table was a pre 1900 light cherry wood. They contracted through Asher Movers. Asher took the antique table apart, which is ludicrous. The table was only 32"x48"x 42" in height. They shipped the table in 4 pieces, the top, 2 legs and a bottom shelf that connected to the legs to keep the table sturdy. Only 3 pieces showed up, missing the bottom connecting shelf. When I called customer service they had me talk to the driver to no avail. Shelf still missing in action, be careful if you use this Broker company. read more

Eagle Moving Group, Inc of Boynton Beach, FL was the most horrible choice that can be made for getting your things moved. Several weeks prior to our move from LA to TN, the Eagle Moving Group, Inc. rep, Nicholas, sold me on everything under the sun at a cost of $5,400.00 with the understanding that we were to be in TN by Saturday night, 3-5-22. Promises made but not kept - 36 hours prior to the anticipated arrival, I was notified by them that the price then escalated to more than $14,000, items were to be packaged, photographed, inventoried and picked up by 3-5-22 by 8 a.m. Secured timely delivered by 3-5-22. Reassembled restaged at destination. There was no photographing, inventory, packing, or crating of items. Being completely blind, myself and my cancer-surviving wife packed and brought to the back of their truck items that their movers would not participate in. They refused to pack or safely crate any items. When Eagle Moving Group, Inc. had Dann Moving show up to our home, the crew showed up already drug/alcohol impaired two days late, and was later witnessed smoking weed in the front of our home. The final arrival time initially set to be Saturday 3-5-22 turned out to be the night of Tuesday 3-8-22. When the driver instructed the impaired crew to begin packing and bringing items to the truck as the driver would then load them, the crew advised that they would not do packing. After an hour of nothing getting accomplished, myself, being blind, and my cancer-surviving wife began packing and transporting our items to the truck. Because of the deceit of the Eagle Moving Group, Inc. dispatcher, George, our frozen and refrigerated items remained in ice chests outside of refrigeration until Tuesday night, 3-8-22. When the truck finally arrived and was opened, it was then revealed how recklessly, and nearly intentionally damaged all our belongings had been treated by them. It was like a scene from the old Sanford and Son TV show. It was at this time that the complete and utter lack of caring and talent became obvious, as 90% of all our most valuable items and furnishings were damaged, broken, or destroyed beyond the point of repair or sale, of course, excluding our items that never showed up at all. When we tried asking for financial consideration of their destruction, the Eagle Moving Group, Inc. through George, became arrogant, irate, disagreeable and vengeful, giving no consideration for the destruction and terror they caused. I strenuously urge that no one use Eagle Moving Group, Inc. of Boynton Beach, FL or Dann Moving, as they are untruthful, unreliable, incompetent, and vengeful. read more

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had moving. Having moved over 10 times in my adult life, I was helping my son move from Nashville TN to Melbourne, FL. As a broker, you would think they would have a high bar of contracting with reputable firms. The company they hired was a bunch of rude, careless, and unemployable type people. I couldn't even get the name of the company (I believe it was US Professional Movers out of Raleigh). Took a chunk out of the wall, and wanted cash on arrival and drop off even though the contract was a credit card. Parked on the yard and the truck looked like it was stolen and beat up with no markings. Had to end up Zelle'ing them. I am so glad this is over. Yes, like other reviews 3x the cost vs. estimate. These people should not be operating a business. STAY AWAY from this company. read more

RUN! Stay away from this company. They are not a moving company, they are just brokers, so they are not the ones that actually will be moving your belongings. Their estimates are completely off, just to get you hooked to hire them. When the real moving company comes, you get a different-higher quote. They provided me with an estimate of $2600, but the actual moving company that came told me a quote for $6000. I ended up paying $3200 for just moving 25% of my belongings. When I called to cancel, the person said that she didn't how much money I would get back if I were to cancel. One of the most stressful times of my life, and everything turned out to be a disaster. So I had a move that was supposed to be about 2500 dollars. I am not a rich person so I was very careful to give them exact measurements of everything I wanted to move and the exact size of the boxes I was using and how many boxes I had. I wanted as exact an estimate as I could get as I knew they would charge me more if I went over their estimated cubic feet. On pickup date they had missed their estimate by 276 cubic feet or about 1200 dollars. When I complained the mover said don't worry I got you and requested a 1200 dollar tip. When I told him no he got physically aggressive so I gave him a two hundred dollar tip and told him if he didn't leave I would call the cops. On drop off day they claimed I had a bunch of stuff that was not on my estimate which I proved wasn't true so I didn't have to pay anymore for that but be aware that if there's stairs or a long haul you will be charged more. My boxes were all torn up. My furniture was damaged and their claims process is impossible. On the list of my property they put down that everything was damaged when they picked it up. read more

I would not recommend Eagle Mover Group out of Florida or Gin & Lou Moving and Storage. Eagle movers are pretty easy to communicate with and answer pretty much all of your questions. However, after they set you a date and start communicating with dispatch and quality assurance not everything they say is true. For one, if you're planning on moving and want to go with them I'd recommend getting as accurate as possible down to the very last throw pillow cause if you don't your price will jack way up to a price they didn't quote you. Not to mention, Eagle Movers is a Third party and they don't actually do any of the moving themselves. Secondly, they don't tell you that your stuff won't be the only one on the truck until the day before maybe if you're lucky. Along with those points, if you're going to go with Eagle movers make sure to ask who will actually be doing the move so you can do your own research and decide if you still want to go with them. I do not recommend either way. The guys who moved my items were from Gin & Lou moving and storage, they did a good job at loading, but charged a lot of last minute hidden fees. They also weren't very good at communicating about when I'd get my furniture. Eagle movers had stated that since I got my items loaded on the 13th that I should be getting my furniture about 3 days later. Yet, when the actual movers showed up he said I wouldn't get my items until 5-7 business days later, which wasn't a problem but still more miscommunication. They also didn't explain to my understanding about why the price was so high nor about how much space I took up which Eagle movers stated they were supposed to have done. Also the whole time I was paying over the phone with my card, but then when the movers came they said they can't take card only cash, money orders, or cashiers check, but when they deliver they can only take cash or money orders. It didn't really make sense to me. I cant say too many negatives since they did get my furniture and all my items but I can say it was more hassle than ease and a lot of miscommunications and really expensive. Also some background information I was getting my things moved from Texas to Arkansas and by the end of it all it cost over $4500 when they had originally quoted me $2000 total (partly my fault cause I had a few more items then originally planned). All in all the Eagle movers group out of Florida is not worth it at all and not true to any of their words. Also mind you this happened in March of 2024 if references are needed. read more

terrible moving company. lies about all aspects of the move including how many movers(I was told 4 and got 2), lies about rate(doesn't take your inventory so not calculated in until too late to change mind), lies about delivery date(I was told 3-4 days and it was 9-10), lies about delivery method, I was told small truck(it was a semi with 4 other households on the same truck), terrible people and terrible company. do not use this company!! read more

For those considering Eagle Moving Group, LLC, owned by Jeffrey Griest, out of Boynton Beach, FL, this is, without question, a scam moving broker who will provide an estimate that is wildly low and intentionally inaccurate to get your business, requiring a hefty deposit. The company did not disclose it was a broker and acted as if they were the actual carrier. Then, when the time comes for the move, you can expect a 2-4X increase in the cost when the actual movers show up. You will find this out RIGHT BEFORE you are scheduled to move. We are a military family and my husband provided Steven at Eagle Moving Group with everything that we needed moved and he provided an estimate of $6700. The day before we were to move, they stated it would be at least triple the amount. There is ZERO guarantee that your furniture will be protected as it is not insured. Additionally, the people they hire to move you may or may not be reputable. Because we live on a military base, we learned that the individuals who they sent to move us did not have social security numbers (and thus were unable to get on base) three times. Please read reviews EVERYWHERE, not just Google or Consumer Affairs, as they are WITHOUT QUESTION paying for positive reviews. This has been the worst experience with any company in my life. The level at which they gaslight and victim-blame the very people they are scamming through flagrant lies to get your deposit, knowing full well that they are unable to deliver at the promised rate, is impressive. We dealt with Alex, Suzy, Stephen and worst of all, William, all clearly willing participants in this scheme. How this could possibly be legal, I will never know. For those who have been scammed by this company, please report them to all of the following agencies below so that we can stop these criminals from continuing to prey on innocent people. If enough people report to Florida AG, other state AGs, FMCSA, BBB, and the DOT OIG, perhaps these corrupt people will have consequences for their lack of regard for people who are already in a vulnerable spot. read more

If I could give it ZERO stars I would. This company brokered me to a 1 star moving company. Initially told me that it would take 5-7 days for our truck to arrive (took 18). Quoted me $4000 to move from Illinois to Florida. 2 days before our truck was supposed to pick up they told me it would be another $5500. When the drivers showed up they packed half my belongings in the truck and told me it would be another $2500. SERIOUSLY??? Stay far away from EAGLE MOVING GROUP and Best Quality Movers out of Morton Grove, IL. Not only did I pay almost $8000 more but I am missing several boxes, weights to our gym , office chair, large mirror plus more. In the boxes I did receive, many broken pieces. Too many to count. I called to tell them that I had another families boxes! Nothing! Absolutely sick that I didn't do enough research! STAY FAR AWAY! read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS HORRIFIC SCAM OUTFIT. took my $1400. & i got nothing but excuses. no show. nothing. total criminal racket. taking people's money then claiming to have a road closed sign photo with no entry which anyone can obtain online. IF IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE IT'S NOT TRUE. i don't pay $1400. then close my driveway when trying to move my property 5 states away. should be possible to post a -100 stars. these people belong in prison. my life was in jeopardy by these scammers not showing up. i was left was virtually no food & no way out of my extremely rural home & they could not care less. nothing but a money scamming racket, swindle, fraud. share this with every person you know who may be trying to hire a moving company for a reasonable cost. only God knows how criminals sleep at night. they all deserve the same to happen to them & their families. they should feel the pain they caused me. the Almighty will get them in His time. read more

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. This is a broker company NOT a moving company. They lied on the phone that they were an actual moving company when questioned directly. They grossly underestimate the cost of your move and make promises about delivery timing that they have no ability to make in order to entice you to take their bid. Eagle Moving Group makes you complete an inventory phone call two days prior and increases the price and $/sq feet with no ability to back out last minute. Our initial quoted price increased from $3400 to $6000. They hired a ONE STAR moving company Stop and Move LLC that has still not delivered our items one month later. Eagle Moving Group has evaded our calls and has not aided in contacting the moving company or helped us to get our belongings back. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. read more

Eagle movers from Boynton beach Florida was very dishonest to us. We have been very disappointed with this moving company. The very helpful and friendly sales person gave us a quote for cubic square feet. Then a couple days before the truck came they doubled that quote without us adding a single item. Then today the numbers show up and they're saying that the quote isn't even close it's going to be much larger. So if original estimate was less than half of what we will have to pay. We feel as though it's been a true dishonest moving situation. I suggest finding a more reputable company. They also added for services our estimate stated were included - for example one flight of stairs read more

beware of booking a move with this company. Nothing we were told came to fruition. Unless you are an expert on what fits in the various types of boxes they use to pack you out, take their estimate with a grain of salt; the move ended up costing $3K more than estimated. They are a broker and do not represent the carrier, and the communication between the two is horrible. We purchased the move based on assurances that our household goods would be at our new location within a week (verbal part of the sales pitch). it was unfortunate when the carrier informed us that delivery would take up to 21 days. However, by that time it was too late.....we are committed. Therefore, the total cost of the move, based on an unprofessional estimate, and increased hotel costs, will be between $5 and $7 thousand dollars more than planned. Our advice would be to not use a broker. Go directly to the carrier (local is better) so a professional can look at your stuff and provide you with an accurate estimate. read more

I feel stupid. I am not but I by-passed all by good-sense when I went with this company! I am embarrassed to say that I did not do enough research and did not read these reviews before contracting with this nightmare of a company. Reading them now, I can see I was not the only customer they treated like a like garbage. Every single thing written in these other ONE star reviews also happened to me. Paid $1600 more than originally quoted. Pick up was on June 26th with a delivery date by July 5th (at least that's what Josh the salesperson told me) I received it July 23rd. Numerous calls to Josh (none returned), calls to customer service who would give me the "movers number" none of which could give me any information. "I'll check and call you back" --they didn't. Shipment arrived with screws missing to reassemble a bed, a broken coffee table, etc. I'm not even going to try to get a credit -- I am so done with them. Rip-off company and I bet they are proud of it! DO NOT USE!!! read more

I do not recommend using Eagle Moving Group. They low ball their estimates of volume based on your inventory to get you to sign on to their services and then when they show up (and they don't show up- a subcontractor does), they hit you with a big increase in costs. In our case, the cost doubled. Based on our inventory, they estimated 508 cubic feet- in hindsight that was a crazy estimate for volume- how does a one bedroom apartment fit in 508 cubic feet? I do no think in volumes and had to trust their numbers- big mistake!! They came in on move day with 900 cubic feet and our cost doubled- surprise surprise! Their estimate of services document also offered a cost for storage of the items past 30 days of 0.50 cents per cubic foot and then their subcontractor on the day of the move said his cost was $1.00/cubic foot. When I spoke with Eagle Moving Group, they said the bill of lading by the subcontractor supersedes their estimate and therefore that is what you have to pay. This felt like a bait and switch move and it felt very unethical. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! read more

Don't use this company! In order to get their customers to sign a contract they will be very responsive in the beginning, and promise to be available to answer all questions and solve any issues as the moving date approaches, but ONCE THE CONTRACT IS SIGNED THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOUR MOVE. We asked very early on what size truck would be delivering to our gated community and Sonny (our point of contact) promised it would be a 26 ft truck. All we wanted was an honest answer so we could make proper arrangements and have no surprises during the move. The contracted mover called the day before delivery and said he was driving a 68ft truck which will not fit in our neighborhood. Sonny was 100% NON-RESPONSIVE to our requests to help figure this out, and some other Eagle rep told us too bad, you'll need to pay another $400 to get a shuttle to complete the move. Eagle's customer service is based upon lies, and promises they don't keep. NO RECOMMENDATION FROM THIS DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER! read more

Do NOT use this company!!!!! These people are a moving broker. If they contract the services out to a crappy mover you are 100% screwed!!! They have ZERO control over the quality or professionalism of the movers. I have talked to multiple people at Eagle Moving Group and they are very nice, but they have no control and can not do ANYTHING but be nice on the phone and tell you to call back later. I sent a list of 16 complaints based on my nightmare experience with the moving company and the response was was, "There was no breach of contract so we will NOT offer any discounts". They said on the phone during the sales call, you have a full load so it should be 2-4 days. The estimate says 2-14 days based on DOT regulations and TODAY they told me the movers tariff says 21-30 days. We are now on day 16 and past the DOT guidelines and NOW they tell me about the "movers tariff" whatever that is!!!! I can not express what a nightmare this has been. Here are a FEW of the complaints I sent to them that do NOT qualify as a breach of contract. 1-Movers did not blanket wrap my son's dresser and then slid it up the stairs on the top. 2- Wrapped my desk in a blanket so that the blanket blocked the whole desk from floor to the top of the desk using more space to increase cubic square footage used. 3-They did not have any tools, so they could not minimize the space from the metal bed frames or remove the stand from my 65" TV. I have ZERO confidence that it will survive the move. 4-The moving blankets they used were torn and filthy 5-They strapped $3500 worth of mattresses to the ramp on the back of the truck. 6-They left trash in every room. Use this moving brokerage at your own risk! read more

Do not use this company. They are a dispatch company that gives your contract to another scam company. Cross Country Movers. They take over 25 business days for you to receive your items. The whole time you are calling them the customer service is horrible and they never clarify that you should be contacting a different moving company that has your personal possessions. The moving company they gave my stuff to lost or stole my boxes that had airtags in them. They found one box that had perfumes and told me they were in no rush to send "used perfumes" It has been over a week of having my items. As well as never receiving my lost items. Eagle Moving should be ashamed to operate with scam companies, unless they too are a scam company. I worked with Phillip on this move and he has done nothing to help and shame on them for acting like they were the actual movers. No Stars from me this is horrible and please contact DOT on them. I wish I would have done more research. This is the shadiest company I have ever worked with. They are all super friendly until you give the deposit and they you may as well be dead. The WAY underestimate the cost of the move and then when the movers show and you are over a barrel they hit you with an increase in cost. The price from the quote went up by more than double. They have lied to me several times, they have had my furniture for 16 days and I have been waiting for a delivery time. Today I am told it will be another 5-7 days without. I have called everyday and every day I get a different answer. When I called today I was frustrated and mad and they hung up on me rather than help me through the process. On behalf of my 80 year old parents that are now struggling to pay their new movers (due to their cancellation policy, late arrival, doubling estimates) I will be contacting consumer affairs, YELP, and any other social media platforms that i can, news stations in Florida that is currently working on moving schemes investigations. The fact that they quote a cost, have the potential costumer sign a contract for that estimate, then when after the 72 hour cancellation window has passed, double the cost, then after speaking with customer service to adjust that new increased estimate by going over everything (including measurements of furniture, the amount of boxes IN DETAIL to exact cubic inch), then send a rental truck to the location and allow the movers to start loading THEN proceed to go in the house and state that they have more than expected and it will cost an additional 5K. BUT, not allow those customers to cancel without offering a full or partial refund is a complete scam. They even supply a link (on their site) to a government website that talks about the fraud to watch for of--Oh they're doing MOST OF THE RED FLAG indicators--which includes targeting senior citizens. LINK: https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/protect-your-move We will be using the site they've listed on their website (above) to file a "moving fraud complaint" which will trigger a federal enforcement investigation against them. What other business would get away with doubling an estimate? Only a moving company that has the customer under the gun. Such terrible customer service... Such a bad way to run a business. They told my parents to try and sue them, they will not win all this OVER a 3,800 downpayment which is a lot to my parents. I also spoke with a moving company in FL (not a broker) that has had to schedule last minute moves because of this company. He informed me that this happens all the time. Bait and Switch. I was looking for a moving company for my daughter's boxes and furniture that had been placed in a storage unit when she moved from **** to Long Island. This move was from Long Island to ******, ********. I researched several moving companies and found that most were brokers. I gave each one I spoke with the information that I had, the inventory that I had from the first move (**** lbs), the size of the storage unit (10x10x8), and the items needed to be in ******** on June 17/18. Most could not commit to this date, But ************ at Eagle Moving Group Inc. said that he could have everything there by the 17th. He assured me that by picking up the items from storage the first week of June, everything would be there by the 17th; if it arrived earlier, it could be placed in storage in ********. He said he had a daughter and understood my concerns and needs, he swore that it would make it there on time. I asked if there would be any additional charges since his price of ***** was very reasonable compared to the larger moving companies. He said the only thing would be an additional *** for storage if needed and an additional cost for a flight of stairs ($75). He contracted to OM Moving and Logistics who called me on 6/2 to say they were picking up on 6/3. When I asked about the items being in ****** by the 17th, they said they could not commit at all - the standard is **** business days from the date of pickup. I tried to contact ************ at Eagle but he did not pick up his phone nor did he return any messages or emails. My boss called Eagle pretending to be a new client and got ***** she then transferred him to me, once he heard my name he transferred the call to customer service. When the movers showed up, they did not want to see the inventory I had. They said they go by the lines that are in the truck. The movers calculated 859 cubic feet vs 421 that **** had from my initial inventory. It cost me an additional $1500. I ********** no response. Move completed 6/20 & bad read more

Do NOT use this moving broker to do your move! My husband and I moved across the country from California to Michigan. We hired Eagle Moving Company, not realizing at first, that they were moving brokers. They contracted with Elk Movers to do the move. The original bid was around $11,000. After they called to confirm, the price jumped to around $21,000. To be fair, we ended up with a lot more stuff that we were taking. That was very expensive, but we agreed. The day of the move, Elk showed up (the people Eagle hired to do our move), and although nice, were not careful with our belongings, dropping boxes clearly marked fragile (mirrors!), and one of the movers fell over one of our boxes, just being clumsy, and broke our headboard....before they even got everything on the truck. So, the original sales person from Eagle, said we would get everything in Michigan, within 10 days. Great! Elk, said, after loading both trucks, it would be closer to 3 weeks, because of a truck driver shortage. They load your stuff up, and then find a long haul 18 wheeler driver to haul it across the country. Fine, it would take us a week to drive there, and then we'd have to "rough it" for 2 weeks. Well, friends, here it is a month later. Eagle, who've I been calling everyday, told us that finally the driver left last Tuesday, and is only allowed to drive 500 miles a day. This should put him here around last Sunday. We've been told repeatedly, that he would call us the day before to schedule the time for the next day. So, Elk picked up our stuff, and left our house in California, Sept 29th. The 18 wheeler didn't pick up our stuff until Oct 19. Except he didn't...keep reading. Now, we live off a small dirt road, with not much of a turn around. Per Eagle, the driver probably would not drive it down our road, and that they would have small truck transport everything from the truck to the house...for another charge of around $3,500! OR...we could do it ourselves. They would load the Uhaul trucks for us, and we would then have to unload the trucks..ourselves. Not what we paid for (remember the over $21k?). Still, we thought it would be better then the extra $3500 +/-. So, based on them saying the truck should be here by Sunday, we rented two 26ft Uhaul truck on Saturday, with the intent of keeping them until today (Wed, Oct 26th) to unload ourselves. Guess what? NO TRUCK. Called Eagle today. After going around in circles, and them basically calling me a liar, without using those specific words, they say that they cannot tell me when the truck, with EVERYTHING we own on it, will be here. Might be 3 more days, might be 7. Oh, and BY THE WAY, the driver didn't actually leave until 10/21 or 10/22 (Thurs or Friday), which means we rented the UHauls, based on their poor information and lack of communication with us, about the delay, the day AFTER the driver actually left California! So, tomorrow, we are taking the UHaul trucks back, and hope that when the driver DOES call me, we will be able to find the trucks again. Otherwise, we will be forced to used their shuttle truck for the extra $3,500. HIGHWAY ROBBERY. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. IT IS A TERRIBLE BUSINESS WITH TOTAL LACK OF ABILITY TO SCHEDULE, OR LET YOU KNOW WHEN YOUR BELONGINGS WILL, (IF EVER) ARRIVE. Edited to say that we STILL have not received our stuff, or a call from the driver. At this point, if we do not receive our stuff by the end of the week, I will look into filing a police report for stolen property. read more

So between 6 Companies between Allied, United, Atlas, May Flower, Colonial , and Eagle Moving Group I chose Eagle. So I had a 4 at home estimates (Allied, United , Atlas , and Mayflower ) for a 4 Bedroom 3 Bath house not including a shed . I've move a bit in my life time so I had a idea it was gonna be costly and I had around 2800 cf which is two 26 ft trucks or a semi . I had a lot of fragile items so I needed some items packed and the pricing I was getting from Allied, Mayflower , Atlas , and United were from $12,000 - $18,000 . I had called up Eagle Moving and spoke to Jimmy Lista which was a moving coordinator there and had been doing this for a long time which I could tell with how he came off and professionalism over the phone. Based off going through the at home estimates and giving Jimmy the CF we did a apples to apples comparison and we walked through a customized packing list which the other 4 companies didn't do for me they just stick me for $3,500 worth of packing. Jimmy was able to make me feel very comfortable with the move in the regards of knowing of the items and asking for specific layouts so it be easier for the packing of the truck and the offloading room by room which boy did it make it 10x easier for the layout of the new house getting unloaded off the truck faster for the guys. It was just way more personable then having people just show up not really go in much depth as Jimmy did with me of the process of the move and services included then just told " Hey this is your weight , packing cost, and here's the price " Like I just felt like my move was just another number to the bigger moving companies which I understand but was big gap in prices which was my main concern as well. Jimmy had mentioned that typically for pricing they are always in the middle which they were and explained why based of not charging premium Admin fee's that can even change on the day of pickup with those big franchises as a non binding estimate . Jimmy was able to get me a binding estimate where it locked in my move at a lower rate so if I added more things the price wouldn't jump up a lot unless I added a ton of items . It was a 4 day job in total the crew they sent out was fantastic and had a great time with the guys in that span and was very pleased. Overall cost of the move with packing came out to $15,128.76 and was very well worth it as Jimmy threw in that cost two cars for over 1,000 mile move. By far very pleased with the servicing from Eagle Moving Group . read more

I cannot emphasize enough how utterly appalling my experience with Eagle Moving Group in Boynton Beach, Florida has been. If you're considering utilizing their services, do yourself a favor and run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. This so-called "moving company" embodies the epitome of dishonesty, incompetence, and sheer disregard for customer satisfaction. Let me recount the nightmare that unfolded when I foolishly entrusted them with my move. Initially, they provided a quote that seemed reasonable, but that was just the beginning of their deceitful tactics. Less than a week before the scheduled move, they had the audacity to jack up the price by nearly $2,000, leaving me feeling coerced and trapped. With the impending move date looming, I felt I had no choice but to begrudgingly accept their extortionate demands. But the horror didn't end there. Despite their supposed guarantee to confirm the move within 48 hours, they failed to uphold their end of the bargain. Multiple calls, emails, and texts went unanswered, leaving me in a state of panic and uncertainty. When they finally deigned to respond, it was only to inform me that they couldn't fulfill their promise of moving on the agreed-upon date. The incompetence and lack of professionalism displayed by their staff are simply staggering. To add insult to injury, when I rightfully demanded a full refund of my deposit, they had the audacity to offer only a measly fraction of it in exchange for my silence. Yes, you read that correctly. Daphne Maxwell, an employee of this despicable establishment, had the gall to suggest that they would return a mere 33% of my deposit if I agreed not to "disparage" their company online. This blatant attempt to buy my silence is not only unethical but downright reprehensible. My grievances don't end there. A quick glance at the Better Business Bureau revealed a litany of complaints against Eagle Moving Group, all echoing the same sentiments of deceit, manipulation, and outright scamming. It's abundantly clear that this company operates not as a legitimate moving service, but as a deceitful broker that preys on unsuspecting customers. In conclusion, I implore anyone reading this to steer clear of Eagle Moving Group at all costs. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and financial loss that I've had to endure. They are nothing more than charlatans masquerading as a reputable moving company. Do not be fooled by their empty promises and slick sales tactics. You've been warned. read more

SCAM. SWITCH AND BAIT. I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the unethical business practices of Eagle Moving Group and their refusal to return my deposit despite their clear breach of contract and failure to provide the agreed-upon services. My experience with Eagle Moving Group began with promises of professionalism and reliability. However, it quickly devolved into a nightmare of broken promises, incompetence, and disregard for customer satisfaction. Five days before our move, I was contacted by Eagle and told that the representative made an error on my quote and I would need to pay an additional $1900 and that I had to sign the revised contract right then or they couldn't guarantee my move. Feeling like I had no options so close to our move, I agreed to this making a 900sf house to an apartment in NY move over $6000. Absolutely a Bait and Switch. Then, Eagle Moving Group failed to provide the required 48-hour notice prior to our scheduled move, leaving me in a precarious situation with no time to make alternative arrangements. When they finally did reach out, it was with the news that they could not accommodate our move until the day after what I was told, despite assurances that our preferred date would be honored. This last-minute change left me with no choice but to secure the services of another moving company, Piece of Cake, with just 15 hours' notice. The repercussions of Eagle Moving Group's negligence were far-reaching, including the inconvenience of rescheduling utilities, securing transport for my pet, and accommodating new renters at my home. Despite their clear violation of our contract and the significant inconvenience they caused, Eagle Moving Group has refused to return my deposit. Their insistence that I sign a document falsely claiming I was the one who canceled the contract is both insulting and unjust. Adding insult to injury, when I mentioned the possibility of seeking recourse through small claims court, a representative of Eagle Moving Group responded with dismissive sarcasm, suggesting that pursuing legal action would be futile. It is unacceptable for a company to operate with such blatant disregard for honesty, integrity, and customer satisfaction. I urge anyone considering hiring Eagle Moving Group to think twice and explore alternative options. read more

If there were zero stars that's what they would get. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They have close to 100 complaints on the DOT website in the past 24 months. This company was completely dishonest in their dealings. Adam Walker misrepresented almost everything just to get the business and then disappeared. First, his initial estimate was half the final price. He stated he would be available 24/7 to us and then went on vacation all throughout our move. He screwed up the date of the move, promising us it would be the 27th and it ended up being the 28th. He didn't do the following which the FMCSA website states he has to do: 1- Provide you with FMCSA's Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move booklet and the Ready to Move brochure; 2- Provide you with a list of the moving companies they use; 3- Have the mover that is transporting your shipment perform a physical survey of your household goods if they are within a 50-mile radius of the mover or its agent's location, whichever is closer. It is your option to waive this requirement. The Bill of Lading was approximately $4000 higher than the estimate, which is ok because we added some stuff. However, the final bill was an additonal $3500 and there was almost no difference between the final inventory list and the bill of lading. Interacting with the company was a nightmare. For days I couldn't get any answers on how things went wrong. They finally agreed to give me a "discount" of $400 but only if I agreed not to file anything with the DOT or post any negative reviews about the company. Something I clearly decided not to take. You have no idea as to how unbelievably aggressive I had to become to get them to act. To make matters worse, they clearly don't care who they put people in business with. The moving company they had move our stuff broke a bed, table, steel frame $1000 office chair that was wrapped up and an entire box of fragile glass stemware including a Waterford Crystal Vase. They were well wrapped. As I stated, STAY AWAY. read more

We hired Eagle Moving Group who contracted our cross country move to Moving Wise Services. Our movers were scheduled to show up and did not show up until 3 days later. Upon arrival, the movers' truck was completely full of trash, and they smelled of marijuana. The team of 3 movers were not aware of the package we had bought with Eagle Moving Group. They had not been informed that we had agreed to a full packing and moving service, but they got to work. Over the course of the next several hours, paint was spilled on the floor and tracked throughout the house, items were left behind and we had to correct them after they had gotten the truck packed, I found my compound bow to be broken and their lunch and packaging trash left around and inside of the house. Upon completion of the job, Mike, the foreman, told my husband that it would be twice as much as what we originally agreed to. Mike said that the amount allotted on the truck was not enough for the number of items we had. We had given larger numbers and bigger items (such as a riding lawn mower, which we do not have) in order to account for more space on the truck and over estimate what we would need. He said we were now being charged for moving materials, packing, and even more space on the truck, despite already having agreed to that in the original price. With everything packed, we were able to come to a compromise even though it was not what we originally agreed to. One month later our items arrived. We arranged for them to be stored while we waited to close on our house. The items that arrived were mostly broken, water damaged, dented, or just outright completely falling apart. Keep in mind beds, bookshelves, couch, every single picture frame we had, filing cabinet, decorations, dresser, chairs, tables, books, clothes, lamps, you name it, it was damaged. I accepted some things would be damaged in the move, but the sheer numbers and size of things damaged from a "professional" moving company is shocking. read more

I regret to say that my experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. Initially, the salesman was very convincing, but it became clear that much of what was promised was misleading. We provided a detailed inventory for our move, he confirmed it and a representative confirmed this information prior to move day. Interestingly, we ended up with less than we initially reported due to the sale of some items, yet the final amount due we received from the movers was significantly higher than expected. It's crucial to scrutinize all documents carefully, as discrepancies were evident between what we communicated and what was recorded by the salesman. This has resulted in unexpected charges. Additionally, the assurance that our items would be delivered within 48 hours by the initial salesman was misleading. We were informed 48 hours numerous times during our initial hour and a half phone call for an 11 hour drive due to possible weigh station stops only to find out on moving day that in fact ultimately, we faced a delivery window of 7-14 days. This lack of communication left us unprepared and without essential items. We also contracted this company for vehicle transport, which came with its own issues. We were informed upon pickup that an additional cash payment of $800 would be required, despite having a Bill of Lading stating a total of $850, including a $150 deposit. Furthermore, upon pickup, we noticed that the car had a significant scratch on the left front end. In summary, I strongly advise against hiring Eagle Movers. Consider paying a bit more for a company that operates transparently and provides direct delivery. My experience suggests that Eagle Movers may not be a reliable choice. read more

So based off of seeing the reviews on here of 'Bait and Switch" and things of that nature I was very skeptical but I've moved with big companies such as Mayflower and Atlas . I don't think a lot of these reviewers understand labor at all as I worked in a carpentry union for 25 years. When you add a lot of items it always changes price it's common knowledge now. Just seems like based off there experience and the entitlement people think they have these days seemed to fit the bill when I went with Eagle Moving. I was dealing with Mr. Graf and he explained pretty simple in a nut shell that as long as you let the company know during QA going over the inventory to add or take off will dictate final price which he didn't lie to me on that nor the time frame since it's there busy season which took about 7-10 days to get my stuff because I was going pretty far for my move from Ct to Texas. I mean even with the group of guys that showed up were a little late but other than that I understand with how scheduling goes especially if other jobs come before yours. I was impressed with the packing and the one guy because he was barcoding everything non stop in his computer system room by room. I had a big gym set in my home gym in my basement this guy looked like the Ultimate Warrior from the old WWF days which was jacked along with everyone else which I was surprised and grabbed a stack of my 45 lb plates at least 4/5 walking them out like butter which I was in SHOCK . I don't know where they got these guys but certainly recommend they do everyone's big jobs hahaha. I paid overall $6,800 for my 3 bedroom house, home gym , and garage. read more

It's not everyday you pack up your whole life and relocate, is it? So, let me tell you about this impressive group of movers I recently had the pleasure of working with, Eagle Moving Group. As an aficionado of antiques and vintage collectibles, my place resembled an eclectic museum. The thought of moving these prized possessions had my anxiety soaring, but the United Regions team was nothing short of amazing. From the very first call to get a quote, the level of professionalism was exceptional. They patiently walked me through the whole process, explaining every minute detail with clarity. It was evident that customer satisfaction was a priority for them. When it came time for the actual move, their attention to detail was striking. I watched as they meticulously packed my antiques, treating each piece as if it were their own. It was an intricate ballet of wrapping, padding, and gentle handling, the likes of which I've seldom seen. Throughout the journey, I was kept in the loop with regular updates on the transit progress, putting my apprehensive mind at ease. When we finally arrived at my new home, everything was unloaded with the same care and precision. Not a single item damaged, not a single expectation unmet. Eagle Moving Group made my move a breeze, managing to exceed my expectations at every step. They turned what could have been a stressful ordeal into a seamless transition, and for that, I'm immensely grateful. read more

I recently used Eagle Moving Group as a broker for my move, and my experience was far from smooth: Misleading Estimate: Eagle provided a binding estimate of $2,416 based on a specific volume. However, the moving company they paired me with, Bristol Movers and Storage Inc., almost doubled this without valid justification. Pressure Tactics: Eagle promised an accurate post-loading assessment of my belongings. Yet, I was pushed into signing a blank form, which was later manipulated, not reflecting the original agreement. Payment Confusion: I was pressured into a significant payment via Zelle without receiving any receipt or proper documentation. Further, the process lacked transparency, with unexpected demands for cash payments on delivery. Lack of Required Documentation: The company they partnered with never provided with the necessary FMCSA rights documentation or a clear delivery schedule. Poor Partner Vetting: The entire ordeal makes me question Eagle's choice in partnering with moving companies, given the unprofessionalism and lack of transparency from Bristol Movers. I would strongly urge anyone considering Eagle Moving Group to rethink their decision. This experience has been fraught with misinformation, pressure, and unexpected costs. read more

I had an extraordinary great event with that relocation group. Also, Dean, Mark, Alexus, Todd, and Frank the team members were surely professional and polite. Punctuality was not an issue, and they worked as a team from the beginning to the end. Great were the movers and packers who cared for my property and made sure to have all the items safely packed. It was evident from the beginning of their efforts that they had great attention to detail and were committed to customer satisfaction. The staff was also very good-natured and polite, which made the process very enjoyable. They made sure that everything was in perfect order and even went beyond the package. I will express the opinion that the move is a challenge that is difficult and often a terrifying experience for some people, but this team has shown it to be an easy one. Their effort and fortitude were truly deserving of a commendation. I could not have had a more magnificent move. It is absolutely recommendable! One more thing their quote was accurate. No hidden charge they asked me. Thanks for everything read more

These guys really know how to pack up an office ready for moving; they ensure no damage items because of their fantastic wrapping skills. Furthermore, when it comes down to relocation, you will get a smooth transition into your new space despite everything required of your office furniture type into the--just think how important this means if you are changing your working environment stations at the shortest notice possible! Storage options here matched both our short as well as long term needs while they offer pocket friendly prices so be sure that their quotations are right on target most especially considering that there can only be one winner in today's yet pretty saturated marketplace. The movers came in time and worked very fast; this was due to their speed; therefore, nothing got broken because of excellent packaging carried out by professional staff only who knew what they were doing best and were expected all the time under any circumstances whatsoever - obviously their business is good or maybe not but anyway it seems like a big deal now. read more

Changing the workplace easily, the staff feel at home. The resourcefulness of this organization makes the setting up of office equipment appear to be a child's play. They had had a good range of options available both for a short period and for a longer duration of time; in addition to that, their prices were reasonable with the quotes being provided on time. It was great when the crews arrived at the correct time and worked quickly while at the same time packing in a way to avoid damaging any of the items that could be affected by the packaging process such as the computers or the fragile items while the other did loading and unloading systems without any trouble among other things like unhooking fax machines too soon so they could leave everything intact including the hookup lines etc.; such actions are proof of their commitment as well as the experience since any small mistake would lead to losses but there was no casualty as it. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. After they arrived, they asked for more money to continue to load. They were hard to get hold of to coordinate a deliver date. I reach out to the sales rep, Steve Graf who never returned a call, Jamie and Alexis were VERY RUDE and hung up. Finally delivery day. Again, MORE MONEY to get my property out. I piece damaged to bad we to the dumpster and most furniture had sometime of scratches. Boxes were crushed and now that we are finally unpacked, there is so many objects broken. They lost a mattress. Driver blamed company then said it was on the truck then he brought it back after 6 weeks. Some to the damage is irreplaceable, others it would have been better to just by new. BUYER BEWARE - after they have your deposit and your furniture, you are a prisoner. The employees are just horrible people with no conscience. read more

The shift of movement may indeed be taxing, but it became an ease, thanks to this particular company. Greg, Collin, Joseph, Brandon, and George were fabulous. They were respectful, dedicated, and very cautious when it came to handling my belongings. Soon after getting there, they showcased spectacular coordination and teamwork. They made sure my fragile items are well packed and not broken during the moving. The group worked diligently and their attention to detail was highly impressive. They listened to my concerns and the solutions that they performed without resistance to them impressed me. The move was done in a short period, and I was really struck by the professionalism of the employees. I am extremely happy with their service and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wants a moving company that is both reliable and respectful. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! - They are not a moving company! They pretend that they are they are a broker and charge hefty fees for "booking" a local mover. They charged me almost $10,000 for "gas and fleet costs" when they never provided either. They over charged me close to $1000 for packing supplies that were never used and refused to reimburse me. I was verbally assaulted by their receptionist for asking too many questions and when I filed a complaint with a manager "Daniel" they stopped taking my calls. I have filed a formal complaint with the BBB and anyone who has been scammed by them should too. I hope and pray that our voices can help others and shut them down for good so they cannot scam or cheat anymore people. THEY DONT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR... read more
