This one feels a little less cozy, maybe because it's on a busier street and has less seating, but the vibes are still great. Menus are exactly the same. I got a fabulous pistachio and cardamom bevvie, as well as my beloved ham toastie. The service was absolutely amazing and I struck up a great convo with the ladies who assisted me. Six Shooter is hands down my favorite coffee shop in Cleveland for both the coffee (grounds are delicious and reasonably priced) and the good vibes. Really awesome and welcoming neighborhood feel. I love supporting this business.

I decided on the "Olive it a Latte" latte - a graza olive oil infused milk steamed with citrus pistachio simple syrup and poured over an espresso!! I was slightly scared after I ordered because I wasn't 100% sure about the flavor - but it was pretty good! Not my favorite ever but it was such a fun flavored latte to try!! - plus the guy who made my latte made it a point to show me the latte art before putting my to go lid on and that made my day! they were so kind!! Plus my friend really enjoyed the "Collinwood" espresso blend I got her - so all in all we were both happy...and what else can you ask for? Ill have to make my way back over here for another fun latte flavor!

I tried both the Promised Land Latte (cinnamon and honey) and the seasonal special Cowboy Cold Brew (cold brew with milk and sarsaparilla syrup). The Promised Land Latte was good, not too sweet, a little thin on the mouthfeel but overall good flavor. The Cowboy Cold Brew was such a treat: a combination I have never tried, but it worked surprisingly well. It was like a root beer and a cold brew were mixed together for a refreshing drink with very familiar yet unique flavor. It was also such a treat when I turned the cup around and saw the "yeehaw" written on it :-) I also tried the everything bagel with honey brie walnut cream cheese, and whoever is supplying Cleveland with these specialty cream cheeses knows what they're doing! I enjoyed the honey brie walnut cream cheese so much that I made a third trip to this location, just to get a side of it to put it on extra pita I had laying around. What also makes this location special is the location! I enjoyed my latte inside the Arcade, and the beautiful architecture and interior design were so incredible. It was a wonderful break in the day. Great, efficient service, delicious drinks, good vibes all around!

I typically go to the Rising Star in the Colonial Arcade, proximity to work and all, but the weekends lead to Ohio City where the sunlight poors in, the baristas are busy taking orders, making spectacular concoctions and working the ever growing line. I love that the green and go fridge is always stocked and that they have local bagels and Jeff's Candy! Parking is a premium so be ready to walk the neighborhood on a busy weekend.

Phoenix Coffee on Madison Ave. in Lakewood is a local coffee shop that also serves tea (green tea,…read moreblack tea, Rooibos tea, Matcha, etc). This coffee shop has become my go-to spot when I want to work on my laptop since I'm a remote worker. TEA/COFFEE/PASTRIES -- I normally opt for the Rooibos tea, a herbal red tea from South Africa. I sometimes also get a cup of black tea. For a sweet treat, I like their blueberry muffin cookie which is a muffin but with crunchy edges like a cookie. The actual name of it is a Blueberry Muffin Top ($4). My friend Mike loves getting a hot Latte Breve which is coffee with half and half. I'm not a coffee drinker but they have all your traditional coffee drinks. I've tried an iced Matcha before with Oat Milk which was fine/not bad - the Matcha could have been stronger. They offer bagels, cookies, muffins, and muffin tops (cookie base and a muffin top consistency). SEATING -- There are 8 small table and chairs plus 2 small sofa's at the entrance. Although this is a small coffee shop, it is never packed with people. If there are a lot of people inside, it only lasts for 2-3 hours then it's almost empty again. So I love coming here because I know that I can always find a seat. Weekends may be busier though but I tend to just come during the week. PLANTS -- The sell plants which are placed at the back of the coffee shop. The plants are provided by Sixth City Cycles which is a bike and plant shop. SERVICE -- Customer service is always friendly. I have never encountered any issues. The only slight issue here is the Air Conditioner is always up high so it gets cold quickly. In addition, the music can sometimes be too loud. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 148/250 total reviews in 2026 - 989 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 26 June 2026

There is also the main area (center part where you order) that has tables and chairs which is situated when you first walk in and then there is a back area towards the left that can be used as well. So, there are 2 back sections. DRINKS -- They sell matcha, tea, and coffee. I ordered a cup of Storehouse black tea with honey ($4 price, I think). I think the employee added too much honey in my tea because my stomach started hurting a little so I couldn't finish it but that's okay. I later got a mug of warm water which helped soothe my stomach. The cup of tea though is quite expensive but I like to support local businesses (Storehouse Tea is a Cleveland business). FOOD -- I also ordered a Rosemary bagel ($4) with a side of butter (.50 cents). The Rosemary bagel was delicious which isn't surprising because the owners make their own bagels. If you work remote then this coffee shop is for you as they have free wifi and plenty of tables to use. They have lots of chairs and tables laid out in three different sections. The music isn't as loud like most coffee shops in the area so I appreciated that. The back area towards the right only has 2 outlets available but thankfully, I got one to use. If you come with a laptop, make sure your battery is charged or find another seat where there is an outlet. TIP -- They sell packaged coffee to go, some packaged biscuit mix, and cute notebooks.

And there is a decent selection of food and drink options. Ok, so I was hoping for a classic ham and cheese crepe and that's what I ordered. Unfortunately, the crepe consistency wasn't quite right and it felt like there was more or a different kind of flour than what I have experienced in most places I have eaten them. Plus, it's served with hollandaise and not bechamel so the whole thing was very heavy. It was disappointing... You also have the option of ordering inside or at their drive through window, where they often find me and my pup when the weather is nice. After coming here frequently for over five years now my only real complaint is that it's hit or miss on service. Sometimes I'm greeted cheerfully and and orders are being made quickly. Other times it takes several minutes to be acknowledged at the cash register and the crew seems to be more focused on each other than getting orders out.
