The eagle harbor community amazes me. Not only do they have their own school, golf course, and swim park, nestled way in the back of the neighborhood is the waterfront park. The waterfront park is beautiful. There's an adult swim area that can be divided to multiple swim lanes, a wader pool area for the wee ones, and a splash type pool are for toddlers and youngins. Also within the gated area is a sanded volleyball court. The park is watched over by an attendant by the entrance and is staffed with a few lifeguards. The only reason why I rated this place 3 stars was because of the strictness of their pool rules. We attended a party there on a a cloudy day and there was thunder heard probably a mile away. Their rules indicate that if thunder is present, swimmers must wait 30 minutes before reentering the pool. Needless to say, they never got to go to the pool even though not a drop of rain fell on the area. Those who live in this neighborhood are sure lucky to have this around. If you plan on stopping by, make sure there isn't a cloud in site! read more
