Book a Discovery Flight and spend an hour or more FLYING a plane with the guide of a certified pilot (we had Jacob...he was so amazing) across the beautiful landscape of North and South Carolina. Imagine the fall colors from above or flying into a sunset. At only 2000 ft, you're high enough to where there's great visibility below. A great activity to bond with a child, a friend, or even for a first date. Maybe even take a few lessons if interested. We arrived 10-15 minutes early to fill out paperwork and disclosures and he was quickly on his way. His instructor was Mark who was very cordial and my husband had nothing but good things to say about him after his flight. I was able to watch flight checks and takeoff from a distance, then took our daughter to Runway Park to play during his flight and watch their landing. It was a fantastic experience that my husband said he will remember for life. As we reached altitude, the only thing we could do was soak in the stunning views of downtown, the lakes, Paris Mountain, and what life has to offer from the front seat of the plane.
