At the end of our trip we also checked out some local stores and got to try some locally made bourbon and vodka. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting the area or even locals looking for something new to try. This tour is fun and informative without being too stuffy or boring. They also have super fun activities and mid and end of the year programs to showcase what the children have learned. In the days of Mr. Mike, he would bring in birds and other animals for the children to learn about. Mrs. Alana taught the kids structure and fundamental early learning things. My child learned to read and write in her room. I also appreciate the utilization of the nearby library. This is an excellent facility. I would argue one of the best kept secrets in Augusta. The course is like most courses with online videos, skills checkoff, and a test at the end. You get your online card the same day you complete the course (course runs 3 hours). There is a certificate and wallet size card you can print out. The course here is very cheap than what Atlanta has to offer (59$ vs 89$). There are a variety of classes offered here. I took the in-person 3 hour session, but they do offer a hybrid course where you have an online portion and come in for the skills checkoff. They offer certifications in Heartsaver CPR/AED, BLS, and First Aid. Essentially they work for you and all your needs in the healthcare world. I recommend all should learn CPR in order to equip yourself to helping those you love. This course is approved by the American Heart Association which is the umbrella organization that runs the show not Red Blood Cross. As a future healthcare professional and also a nursing student from Augusta University, this place got me. Until then, you will find me taking all kinds of classes to feel the void that I missed from that class. I recently visited @mybestfriendssewingroom in Augusta, Georgia. While anxiety ridden about using their equipment, as I'm quite clumsy, the instructors eased my shaky hands and by the end I felt confident enough to take another class. Side note: I'll probably take the beginner class one more time so I can focus on my speed as seen in the video. My Best Friend's Sewing Room LLC offers a variety of classes from beginner to advanced. They're classes are great for the young and old. If you have mini me's check out their summer camps or take a class with your mini. Group Suggestions: Have one person book your spots or agree to all book at the same time. The classes are limited and you want to be sure to get a seat in the class.
