I also discovered it was cheaper to rent from the airport than any other locations, which is normally not the case. I'm assuming there isn't a lot of people renting from the airport. Columbia has a small very efficient airport that we really love. Its very clean and has everything that you need when flying out. No long lines and having to arrive at the crack of dawn, unless your flt is early. They have added quite a few new destinations. It beats driving all the way to Charlotte. Didn't end up being a big deal since there was no line, but could be bothersome if there was. Also, there is no covered parking and all the Preferred spaces are in a single row. If you're vehicle is 20 spaces or more away, you have a little walking to do (and hopefully no rain!). My space was K23, no rain for me, just plenty of heat. An intermediate with nearly 26k miles. The inside was fairly clean, with the exception of some sticky material splattered on the rear view mirror. Don't know what it was - definitely wasn't touching it! Based on the previous info, I would've leaned towards two stars. But the bumped it up to three based on the pleasantness of all the minor interactions I had with the desk employees. They were also pretty accommodating when I returned the car to the wrong lot like a dummy (Lot "B" for returns). I wouldn't have a problem renting from this location again. And hopefully next time the car will be a bit cleaner (all other things considered equal), and I can rate at 3.5-4 stars.

No one else does this, the airline and hotel didn't increase their price so why is Dollar stating the taxes changed on a prepay??? It was a big black Pacifica with tinted windows and all the bells, whistles and beeps anyone could ever want. Took me 20 minutes just to scope out all the buttons and disable what could be annoying beeps while navigating the roads in this beast. It was a more than pleasant surprise and while I wouldn't expect lightning to strike like that twice, I would gamble on the Manager's Choice again. Thrifty, you were awesome.
