I also discovered it was cheaper to rent from the airport than any other locations, which is normally not the case. I'm assuming there isn't a lot of people renting from the airport. Columbia has a small very efficient airport that we really love. Its very clean and has everything that you need when flying out. No long lines and having to arrive at the crack of dawn, unless your flt is early. They have added quite a few new destinations. It beats driving all the way to Charlotte. At approximately 1:30 p.m., I approached Diasha for assistance and experienced rude, confrontational behavior. I walked away without arguing to avoid escalating the situation. Instead of allowing the interaction to end, she followed me to the Alamo counter and began loudly discussing me with another employee in front of customers. Diasha continued pointing at me, referring to me as "that customer," and discussing my business within earshot of others. When I asked her not to discuss my personal information publicly, she began yelling. Other customers even told her to take the matter elsewhere. This was embarrassing and humiliating, particularly because I had already tried to remove myself from the confrontation. Jessica, the manager with long blonde hair, arrived but did not de-escalate the situation. I also heard a comment to the effect of, "Let her complain. They won't do anything to me. I run this place." No one else does this, the airline and hotel didn't increase their price so why is Dollar stating the taxes changed on a prepay??? A few weeks later I received a letter stating the car was 3.3 gallons less from full and I would be charged $38.00. I kept the receipt so this will be disputed with Visa. We did encounter a few billing issues and, due to our early return, weren't able to speak with anyone at the counter before leaving. However, once we reached out to Hertz, the responsiveness and professionalism we received were excellent. Manager Leigh Mitchell personally followed up with an email, apologized, and ensured the issue was corrected. We truly appreciated her attention to detail, the follow-through, and the commitment to customer service.
