Me and my girlfriend are both travel nurses and have been here for almost 10months now and we love it. They have a wash house where you can do your clothes and a dog park. They also have a nice little antique store that the park is behind that is nice. We work nights and Roy is nice enough to wait until we are off before mowing around the camper so he doesn't wake us. He's always keeping an eye out for anything odd and he also screens everyone who comes to stay in the park so chances of getting bad neighbors is unlikely. They have pretty much spoiled us on our stay here! Totally recommend!

I had men slapping me on my ass including the owner's husband. So I slapped anyone back who did to me first. I thought it was playful. I did for several years. Then I was kicked out. Not once was I told this wasn't acceptable. They used this after I complained about Ada rights. I tried to fight for the disability harassment but got too sick from the stress they caused me to continue. I was hospitalized.

As for the clothing optional environment ( I did not know they "went there"),...., I could care less though it is ODD for anyone to want to spend the $$$$ and be clothed around nudists, you can be a LOOKIE- LEW at local gyms for under $50 a month in the locker rooms, and go every day ! LOL!!! (why I don't go to the local civilian gyms, tired of complaining to gym management about this really suspicious behavior and nothing is done to stop it) *CHECK their Rates page and draw your own conclusions and then compare with other parks in South Carolina be a well-informed patron. Always check links to see just what each park Identifies with. **Better nudist environments to go to in SC, even if they are a bit farther still great for a day trip and consistently warm and welcoming family environment membership that does background checks on all those wanting to enjoy a healthy naked environment which is what this whole lifestyle is traditionally about. The owners are great folks also. Very pet friendly! We made many memories here with our family, mainly the grandkids, who are already asking if we can go back and visit. They loved fishing in the pond, playing on the swings and basketball court, and walking the trails. Its a very peaceful and beautiful place. Would definitely recommend to anyone for short or long term stay.

Would definitely stay again.

It's also a little further away from Columbia than I wished it was, but that's on me for not looking at the map better. But it's easily 25 minutes from Columbia proper. If you're in the area and looking for a basic place to park that has full hook-ups, this will do just fine. But I wouldn't expect much more.

We were there in April, and found the campground to be very quiet and peaceful all 5 days we were there. Over the weekend, even with the campground filling up, it was still peaceful. The spots are well distanced from each other. It was a bit cold for swimming, but we did walk to the edge and try fishing. My only complaint is the online booking - there is a lack of photos of each site, and it's really hard to tell what the access to the water looks like. Some of the spots have an easier access to get into the water than others, especially for small children. We used campsitephotos.com to get an idea of what the sites looked like.

No matter what site you choose you will be fairly close to the restroom and showers. Very peaceful place all around.
